Over the years there have been complaints of the staff members at the La Crosse boys and girls clubs treating African American children very unethical and racially biased. I am a parent of one of the children that was being mistreated. While attending the club my child was bullied and called several inappropriate names and whenever he decided to defend himself, he became the problem. Before the summer program started he was kicked out because he defended himself against one of the bullies. UNACCEPTABLE! I have spoken with many other African American children over the years and more recently since this incident that happened with my child, who said that this has been going on at the boys and girls club and no parents were made aware that their children are being mistreated. I am writing this email to let you know that I will be filing a complaint against the boys and girls club for unethical and racial discrimination and the mistreatment against African American children and shed some light on this matter to start a formal investigation! Now I was told that my child will no longer be able to attend the Erickson bgc  as well as some other children who have reported this. Myself along with other parents will be taking this matter to a higher and more legal representation because if I don't stop this unjust behavior with the racist staff of the boys and girls club, it will continue! ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! Your staff needs to be held accountable for their sick disease of racism among your organization and I will make sure that when I am done everyone will be aware of it!

Bgc staff members are RACIST liars who hand pick the certain members( white and mixed children) that they want to deal with. They are unprofessional, VERY biased and only want the boys and girl members to be PREDOMINANTLY WHITE! The problem lies deeply within you racists at the Boys and Girls club treating other children differently than you do African American children and this has been going on for years and it is time to shed some light on this to the public! African American kids have been saying for years that they get treated differently than other children and it's time for it to come out! I hope you and your staff get the help and training needed for your sick diseases because to go around making up lies just so that certain children don't attend your club is UNETHICAL, UNPROFESSIONAL and UNACCEPTABLE and I WILL be reporting this to multiple higher powers, all media platforms and African American clubs here in town and anyone else that will listen! ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

Desired outcome: Investigation, re-staff, and complete deletion of any racism or racists working at the boys and girls club. Equality for all children!!!

This happened in Thousand Oaks, California.

My child who happened to be the only African American was treated very different from the other children.

She was accused of saying the N word as she threw trash away. My daughter denied the accusation. Since another student made the accusation, the staff believed the other child. My daughter received a 5-day suspension which is the most severe punishment aside from expulsion. When I questioned this harsh action, I was told by the Director that since so many children have been using the N word, she wanted to set a strong example. Why not set the example with a white child? Why take the word of a white student over my child? I refuse to ever send my daughter to a Boys and Girls club again. I believe the actions taken against my daughter were racially biased.
