Botach Shady company

BOTACH never shipped my order a week and half after I placed my order. They were quick pulling the money out of my account but never processed the order. I was contacted by the customer service, letting me know that one of the item i ordered was not in stock. I specifically told the person to remove the item and to ship the rest but was never done. I recontacted BOTACH, only to find out that "they forgot to ship my order". Seconds after my call they shipped my order...with the item I had removed...nice try!

Never again that I will order from this shady company.

Botach No product, no answer

I ordered a holster on 9/22/09 and was contacted the next day it wwas not availible. I upgraded to a $15 more expensive one to be shipped next day. My order was $30.99 including shipping.

My card was chared and I never have heard from anypone since. I have emailed several times and called several times. I did talk to some one once and the server was down will call you back (Ya right).

worst costermer service and follow theu I or anyone I know has ever seen. Being a computer professional everyone I can reach will know.

Botach Not paying attention to order, sent wrong item

I ordered a Blackhawk Serpa X26 taser holster over the phone, the person at the other end was told what I wanted and I informed her two times I needed this item in Basketweave. I recieved my order in a timely manner, but it was in plain black, not basketweave. I attempted to call the company and was placed on hold twice. I then E-Mailed them with my problem, they sent me an address to return it, and I had to pay $14.58 for return shipping. The I recieved E-mails as to whom/ male or female that I spoke to. I told them this decent deal was turning out to be expensive, and what were they going to do to right this wrong. I was then informed that this item does not come in basketweave when it was clearly a choice on the website. I told them to just send me a refund. I am waiting. What a lousy company. I ran my squadron supply section for 6 years and did not have this problem. I am thinking of small claims court. Steer clear of this farce of a company.

Botach Did not receive my product

I ordered Lasermax Green Laser and push pad which was to arrive on 17SEP09 and never did. They gave me a tracking number and everything. I gave it a day and still no arrival of my product. Then I made a call to UPS and they told me that there is no trace of them even picking up a package. So, I called Botach and no answer for two days. The third day I called and a woman answered the phone and I gave my compliant telling them that I never received my package and what can they do. She told me that she will make a call with UPS and find out on her end what happen. The phone conversation ended by her telling me that she will give me a call back. Well, it has not happen and I'm still out of about $400.00. It is now the 21SEP09 and still trying to get back with them if that is possiable.

Very poor customer service.

If you call them with any questions they want to bounce you back and forth between the sales dept. and the warehouse.

They leave items on their site that are clearance and do not remove them once sold out. They must not update their system either. I saw an item I wanted, ordered it only to be called 2 weeks later and told its sold out.

I saw the same item again on their site, called to make sure it was in stock, they told me it was so I placed an order.

Well its sold out. I asked why it was still on the site and got an «I don't know" from the girl who works there.

I will never try to buy from them again and can not recommend them to anyone.

They just seem to not care if you shop with them or not, so I won't.

In June of 2017 I placed an order for several items from Botach Tactical. My order arrived pretty quickly, but when I looked at the expiration date of the Pepper Spray, it had expired 3 months earlier. I immediately brought this to their attention and the sent out a return label 3 weeks later. I quickly returned the expired product to them with a note to replace with a similar item or refund my money. Now, nearly 2 months later I have no pepper spray, and no refund.
Shopping at Botach Tactical is a gamble. You might get what you ordered or they might steal your money.

I won't shop there again.

I've ordered one pair of boots for my upcoming deployment. Shipping was listed as 5-6 days via UPS. There were no indications on the website that the item was not in stock. After one week of waiting and one additional week of unsuccessful attempts to contact customer service, the only response from Botach Tactical was a charge to my credit card in the amount of $104.26 for the boots I've never received. I'm less than one week from overseas deployment. With no response from Botach Tactical, I had to buy those boots somewhere else. This company is a joke. I should do my research before I decided to purchase anything from them.

I Would not deal with this company again. I Ordered a Knife for a Christmas gift on Dec 17th. I Received the Knife on Jan 12th. I Called on Dec 23rd to check the order status since I didn't hear from them yet, they didn't send an email letting me know the knife was back ordered. They said it would ship on Dec 28th. The knife came in the original box but it was crushed becuase it was shipped in a bubble mailing bag. Product is new but service with this company was horrible. I asked on the 23rd if they could bump my shipping to 3 day UPS, was told "No, sorry"

Good price doesn't always come with good service I guess.

Worst internet based company I have ever dealt with. One person running the order desk that has no idea what is going on, so communication and information is terrible. They advertise items as in stock, when they are not. You don't find this out until the order is shipped and they have charged your credit card. It's like pulling teeth to get your money refunded. I waited 3 weeks to get a refund. I will NEVER do business with them again, no matter how good the price of an item is...because chances are, if it's a good price, they don't have it in stock.

I called Botach Tactical on Dec 8th 2017 to order an item. I spoke with their sales rep and he said that he would check that the item was in stock. He stated that he had two of them in stock and would hold on for me. I placed my order online and was billed for said item. A UPS tracking number was e-mailed to me. I checked with UPS on Dec 22 2017 and they stated the item was not shipped. I contacted Botach and they said the item was back ordered. They lied about having the item in stock to charge my credit card. Do not order from this company. I am sorry that I did not check on them before I placed my order.

I ordered an accessory rail for my shotgun magazine tube from Botach Tactical on a Wednesday. That same day, I ordered the flashlight and fastener I was going to attach to the rail. Both orders came from California. By the time my flashlight arrived on Saturday, my accessory rail order from Botach still had not been processed. I called Botach on Monday and asked about the status of my order and a woman promised to call me back with that information. She called me the next day and said the product would be delivered the next Monday. When the rail did arrive, it was the wrong one. Fortunately, it was a better and more expensive rail and I was charged for the original.

To make a long story short (too late!), if you can get the product elsewhere, do it. It will more-than-likely get to you faster and be the original product you ordered.

For your sake do not order from this company- there are many more internet companies which will serve your needs besides this one.

I ordered an item for my rifle and was told it was in stock, the next day I was sent a e-mail stating that the item had shipped. I checked with the UPS web site and they in fact had received a manifest order ( which means intent to ship). A week later UPS still had not received the actual item. I called Botach several times on the phone and depending on the operator I was told a different story, from either it's on the way, it's going out tomorrow, the warehouse has it etc. etc.. They eventually called me and told me the item was not in stock (no big surprise here)so I cancelled the order. Now I've been fighting with them to refund my money. SO FOR YOUR SANITY ORDER FROM SOMEONE ELSE...

Mixed bag here, but you should probably avoid Botach. You will not always get what you order. In this case, I ordered some items including 2 pair of tactical pants that were advertised at a closeout price. When I got the shipping confirmation email, the pants had disappeared from the order. I emailed Botach and never got a response. Sure enough, when the order arrived, the pants were not included and they had been removed from the invoice! Again, no reponse to a second email. It's a version of bait and switch. They did not charge me for the pants so I think their problems are more related to bad communication and bad business processes as opposed to intentional fraud.

I am a police officer in Washington State. I ordered some parts online for a rifle that I carry in my patrol vehicle. The company is called Botach Tactical. I submitted the order on 11-04-09. On 11-05-09 they charged my bank account for the cost of the order, $54.24. An email was also sent to my home email address confirming that the order was sent. On 11-19-09, I received an email stating that my order status had changed. The status of the order was described as “Bill information voided”. On 11-23-09, I sent an email to the company informing them I had still not received the order and inquired about the “Bill information voided”. I received no response to my inquiries.

Numerous emails and phone calls were made with no response. After a few months, I sent an email from my work email address, which they immediately responded to, probably since the email originated from a government email address. The email informed me the items were on back order and would be mailed once they arrive. Four months passed and the company still did not send me my items. Since I need these items for my job, I placed an order with another company for the same items. I then called Botach Tactical and asked for a refund. I also sent them an email asking for the refund, explaining that it had been four months and I could no longer wait.

A text message was sent to my work phone asking for my debit card information again to credit my card, since their system erases the information after the order is made. I called and left my debit card information on their machine. On 03-08-10, I received an email from Botach Tactical stating that my order was mailed. I wanted a refund rather than the items, since I have already received the items from another vendor, however, I can use them on my department issued shotgun, so I didn't mind. On 03-08-10, I checked my bank account and observed a pending charge from Botach Tactical for $54.24. Since I already paid for the items when I placed the order, I immediately called Botach Tactical and left a voicemail informing them they had charged me twice.

They have refused to return my calls, or refund the money. I contacted my bank and informed them of the situation. They stated that I need to file a dispute claim, which they turn over to Visa Debit. On 03-09-10 my account was charged the additional $54.24 from Botach Tactical. I called them again today, 03-10-10, but only got the voice mail. I left no voice mail this time around. I am considering filing charges myself.

Botach Stole My Money

Awful company! Three years ago I ordered uniforms from them. They sent me the wrong items and when I returned them they never refunded my money. They claimed they never received them. I filed two complaints with the BBB, nothing! A year or so later, someone from their company contacted me by email claiming he would help me. Another liar from BOTACH tactical. Stay away from this company! They are liars and cheats and they rob members of the armed forces of their hard earned money!

Botach Scam

Worst company ever. Placed order, and within 24 hours my CC was charged and item showed shipped. UPS only said billing info received. Called a week later to find out it was backordered. I requested they cancel my order and refund my money. Checked every two days to no refund. Called every two days only to be assured it would be refunded that day. Finally, a month later, I threatened to refuse the charge. They then agreed to process the refund right there as I was on the phone. One week later, no refund was processed. I called back, and was told it would be processed that week. End of that week no refund, so I finally refused charges, and my CC company refunded the money same day. Don't listen to their BS customer service reps, they are liars. Their game is to get you to wait long enough until it is past the time length to be able to refuse charges. The entire company is a scam, buyer beware! Company is a complete scam and headache.

BUYER BEWARE: Company is poorly ran. We had to cancel three orders worth over $3, 500 due to non shipment. In addition, they even generated a shipping label for one order but NEVER shipped the items.

WE ARE CONFIDENT ALL THE REVIEWS ABOVE ARE ACCURATE. Don’t waste your time with them, they won’t even answer phones these days and blame Covid. Complete BS!

This company has the worst customer service ever. Nobody wants to take ownership of your problem and help you. When you call them expect to feel like you are interrupting their manicure. I placed an order with them and paid for next day because I needed it in a hurry. When I got my package it was short some items. When I called they told me they "FORGOT" some of my stuff. After I got past that they said they had put it in the mail already.

Well mail was right, I got it 9 days later. The person I spoke to said, well I can transfer you to the warehouse manager. He is the one that sent it. Never got to talk to him. When I asked for the manager they told me he is not at the store and I could have his address to write him a letter. This company does not deserve to make any money from anyone. I will never use this company again and have told all my fellow Devil Dogs to stay far from them. I could run a better business from the back of my truck.

I live in Alaska and have purchased a number of items, some very expensive, from this company. I have always received my products in the time stated and without any problems. One time the item I ordered went on back order and I requested them to cancel the order and credit my cc. The order was canceled, my $ were credited to my account within one week. The person answering the phone was polite and did what she said she would do.
I am assuming that this company is like many Internet sellers, in that they pass our orders along to the actual distributor to ship to the party who placed the order. In that case, they do not have control over the distributors inventory, especially if there is a day or two time lag from order to placement. I do however understand how helpless one feels with their money is taken and no product or satisfaction. It tends to make for unhappy customers. You can't beat the prices or shipping, so don't give up on them. For what it is worth.

DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!

I wish I would have read all the complaints prior to sending in my order. I read several of the complaints (found under Google: Botach tactiacl scam) after UPS said my order had been cancelled by Botach and that I needed to call them to see what was going on. I called and began to get jacked around like everyone else. I immediately called my bank and filed a statement of dispute to get my money back. The following seems to be their operation.

-Customer places order
-Customer receives order confirmation email with order number and tracking number
-Product never shows up
-Customer calls UPS to see why. UPS advises that Botach cancelled the order and to call Botach
-Botach says they made a mistake and the item was not actually in stock. "It should be back in stock within a week"
-Product is never restocked (never there to begin with)
- Customer gets tired of getting the runaround and gives up.

They will tell you they'll refund your money, even as far as sending emails telling you so, but they never do.

I'm at the point now where they have told me again that thy'll refund the money.

Call your bank immediately! They're most likely the only ones that can get your money back.

I have read a lot of horror stories of people ordering from Botach Tactical so I was hesitant to place my first order with them. I took a chance and placed a large order of magazines on Friday and my shipment was at the door by Monday evening. I don't understand everyone’s bad reviews on this place and I will recommend them to everyone I know. If you’re on the fence as I was about ordering from them don’t wait a minute longer make the order now and save some serious cash. Great Job Botach Tactical you now have a customer for life keep up the good work!

Worst company ever. Made a purchase on 02/20/2011 and never received tracking info, no email updates, no one answers the phone, no one ever on live chat, no info how to cancel, no response to messages, no products. Total scam.

For anyone that ends up reading about this company please note there is hope. I have started using boss safety. They have the best service in the service industry. If they don't have what you are looking for but deal with that campany they will get it for you and at better prices then anyone iv seen on the web. Please check them out and tell consumer affaires botach needs to be taken out of business.

I ordered a Beamshot laser sight from Botach and they sent me a beamshot laser pointer instead. When I checked the order I found that I wasn’t crazy and that I clearly specified that I wanted the Weapon’s Sight that is $50.00 more than the pointer that they sent me. I also found that I was charged for the Weapon's Sight. I wish that I had found this web sight earlier before placing the order. I called Botach several times and left messages after no one answered the call. This is unusual for me and I felt that it was odd that their customer service was not available to answer the call. This will be the first and last time that I order anything from this company.

i just wanted to say that more or less the same thing happened to me. placed an order on the web for a few camelbak products. got an email saying my order was placed but in the location for tracking information in the email no information was to be found. so i send 2 emails and called. my call got a did you place this order on the web, you will need to call a dif number called this number had to leave a message and never got a call back.. then after a week i got an email saying a product was on back order. let your money talk and put this place out of bis. also if you have had a bad exp please let the better biz bur know..

I have ordered times from Botach and even when I have had issues the matter was taken care of to my satisfaction. I will order from them again with the knowledge that sometimes there are going to be issues. As long as they are resolved even a little frustration was worth the great deal I got.

Botach Ripped off

This company is just asking for a Fraud case in small claims court.

I ordered 7 Hecker & Koch steel M4 magazines while I was deployed in Iraq, however I returned before I could receive them. They were returned from theatre back to Botach in November, but they never contacted me to tell me so. I had to contact them to inquire about the status of my package, and they admitted to having the magazines, apologized, and offered either a full refund or the magazines.

I opted to have the magazines reshipped to my billing address in the states, which I provided in two separate emails, only to have them reship the magazines back to Iraq.

After a month of more waiting, I emailed them again to inquire about the status of my magazines, only to have them offer the explanation that the Army, whom I'm currently commissioned with, seized the package. They offered no compensation for their error, and said that if I wanted the magazines, I'd have to buy them again.

It's been more than a month now, and even after contacting the BBB and filing a complaint, Botach still won't return my money, or replace the magazines they lost.

This is the worst company that I've ever dealt with, both in customer service and professionalism, and they will never see one cent of my money, or that of any soldier that will come under my command again.

I've taken steps after my complaint to the BBB got me no where. I've written both of my congressmen in an effort to get their GSA status revoked, and I've contacted the Court Clerk in their area in order to begin the filing status in small claims court. I feel that in America, if something or someone's service ***, you should be able to get your money back. I will not stop until I have what's rightfully mine.

This company *** ***. I ordered about $150 worth of gear from them and 2 weeks later when the stuff shows up at my house only 1/2 of it is there. Seriously? I tried to call, email, send smoke signals to find out if and when the gear was coming...no answer. I don't have the time to *** play around with these ###tards as I am deploying back into the AOR. I am really pissed about having to waste my time to reorder gear i need in country. Save yourself the headaches and go some place else to buy your gear. The prices are tempting, but you will be lucky to get 1/2 of what you order. Save yourself the headaches and go through Grey Group Training, Tactical Response, Crye, or another similar company for your gear. The customer service is far better when you deal with real operators and not some pouges who are out to play "dress-up" in an effort to get your cash.

Botach Did not get the product I ordered!

If you are considering placing an order with Botach Tactical, read this first...

I recently placed an order with Botach Tactical in November 2005. The order was for a CQC carbon fiber holster with SERPA technology. I received a holster after two weeks of placing the order. I thought "Wow, that was fast service!" However, after examining the holster, I realized they had sent one with a different finish than the one I had ordered.

I called Botach and explained the mix up with them. They informed that they had to have the original product returned before they could send out the correct one. Origianlly, they wanted me to pay the shipping cost to send back the incorrect product. I then asked to speak with a supervisor (Gabby) and she agreed to send out a shipping label for the product.

I received the label a couple weeks later. Immediately (to reduce any further delays), I shipped the incorrect holster back to Botach.

Then I waited...and waited...and waited. Finally, one and a half months later (mid February) I called and asked what the status of my order was. The reply I got was "we're out of stock on that product, it should be in stock in a couple of weeks."

So I waited for two weeks before I called back again. This time, they stated that it was in stock and it would be shipped out to me immediately. Once again, I waited another couple of weeks and tried to call them back to find out what the order status was. Apparently, Botach has caller I.D., because now they don't even answer the phone when I call. I usually get the automated response which tells me to press 0 for the operater. So, I do. And I wait...and wait...and wait (and listen to the talk radio for a while). Eventually, someone will pick up the line and then immediately hang up on me. This has happened to me for the last three weeks (about fifteen phone calls). Not only do I have to deal with the aggravation of not getting the product that I ordered, but I have also been building up a nice phone bill (as they do not have a toll free number).

Before giving up and just letting them keep the measly $30 I paid for the holster, I made an effort to contact them via email. You guessed it...no response.

Lucky for me, I found this website and am at last able to share my frustration. If you place an order with this company, be ready to sprout some gray hairs. The good news is that eventually you will get so frustrated with them that you will pull out those gray hairs. Good luck!

I paid $2, 500 for a gun that cost $1, 400 a week ago & I never heard a word from them despite multiple e-mails, voice mails & they never answered the phone or returned a phone call. I went 6 days with no response from them emailing & calling them every day. I had to file a fraud report with my credit card to get my money back. All I wanted from them was to respond & let me know if they had the gun in stock & if they got the fax from my FFL. While I was waiting for a response from the I kept an eye on there feedback because they already has 50 negative feedback and I seen multiple people leave negative feedback saying they did not get there rifle or botach tactical never responded. I contacted one of them & he said he filed credit card fraud to get his money back because botach never responded to him either. I asked him how long has he been waiting for botach to respond & he said 2 weeks. Since then there has been several more people leave negative reviews on gunbroker that they have not got there riffles either & botach would not respond to them. Botach is the worst company I have dealt with & I did not know they had almost 300 BBB complaints in the last 3 years alone & only 20 out of the 70+ this year were resolved! Botach is selling on gunbroker with the handle "bkb3423"! I will pay somebody $2, 500 to kick me in the balls before I deal with that AHOLE!

I agree, a totally worthless company. I have placed a total of 5 orders in the past 2 years, and 3 of the 5 had problems. Totally useless customer service, no way to tell if an item is in stock, no communication what so ever. After my 4th order, I gave them a very bad review, as my order hadn't shipped after 3 weeks. The rep on the phone couldn't tell me about my order, but she did give me crap about posting a negative review (so, yes they do have some sort of computer system...). Just cancelled my 5th and last (ever) order, and waiting for a supervisor to call me back. Won't hold my breath...

As a civilian, this kind of "service" is bad enough; when they screw the troops over, especially those deployed, it is unforgivable. Not one more cent to Botach Tactical. If I didn't live 2K miles away, I'd drop in to let them know what I think of their sorry ###.

This company *** ***. I ordered about $150 worth of gear from them and 2 weeks later when the stuff shows up at my house only 1/2 of it is there. Seriously? I tried to call, email, send smoke signals to find out if and when the gear was coming...no answer. I don't have the time to *** play around with these ###tards as I am deploying back into the AOR. Botach Tactical are fraud, they don't ship products, they don't reply questions, ###! I'm too angry!
