cancelled order without telling me
I ordered a pair of weight-training gloves as a birthday present for my wife, as her old ones were getting worn out. After an online search I chose to order from bodybuilding.com due to wide selection and competitive prices. After placing order I received a confirmation email, stating that order had been processed, shipment would arrive within 2-3 days, and they would inform me immediately in case of any problem with order. More than 2 weeks later they had not arrived, so I followed the link in message to check on website - the only information there was that the order had been cancelled. I went to their chat service and was told that they had cancelled my order because it had been placed from Nigeria (a country I have never visited) and was thus fraudulent. They said I could still order from them but could not pay by credit card, only by direct wire transfer such as Western Union. It is of course their choice if they don't want my business, but they offered no explanation why they never informed me that the order was cancelled - as promised in first email message - which would have allowed me to order from another company in time for my wife's birthday.
Beware
I placed my order on 1st July 09, mid August and no sign of my order. Cancelled order in August 09 and to date no refund! Keep receiving email confirmations promising a refund will be made within the next 3-5 days... same promise repeated by different reps from the company.
An absolute headache! I placed the order with these guys as their website come across really impressive and they seem to be very successful but if this company operated this way in UK, Im sure Trading Standards would be on them like a ton of bricks! I would never order with this company again, and warn all my friends and family too.
Now Im out of pocket and well stressed out because of their poor customer service. Had I known these guys were going to turn out like this, I would have paid more and placed my order with a UK seller. Now I know it is crucial to check out reviews on any international seller before placing an order, had I done that in the first place, would have saved me hours that its taking to get a refund from bodybuilding.com. Be warned!

Hey thats the samething that they did to me just now. I ordered supplements been waiting for 3 days and it still shows that its on back order and I did some research on my order and the bsn no explode lemon lime flavor wasnt in the shop anymore and they didnt even know that so guess what they did they just canceled my order without even telling me seriously thats just bad. This was my first time ordering at BB.com I decided to give it a try and order from there because there price is cheaper than GNC now i know why because of lack of customer service now i came to the conclusion that GNC is better than BB.com because its convenient and you dont have to worry about these stuff
I ordered supplements that were on back order - received a few emails saying 'still backordered' - finally looked at order status online and they cancelled it with no notification - very poor
