My complaint about Bitstamp is that they have basically frozen my account—no withdrawals, transfers, sells, etc. I was able to make a sizeable transfer of Bitcoin from my personal wallet, make several sales, and withdrawals, and that part was quite satisfactory. Then Bitstamp restricted my account, asking for more data, and for no reason that I can understand..

I still have over 2 bitcoins and $16,000 USD that I cannot access. I have provided to the best of my ability all the information that Bitstamp has asked for. They claim that my information is still being evaluated. I wrote them and asked why it has taken so long for them to evaluate and then restore my account to normal status. Their response was more of the same—that they are evaluating and will send me an email when they have completed their evaluation. It has been several weeks now and no response from Bitstamp. My source of deposits of Bitcoin to Bitstamp has been my personal wallet, and my Bitcoin was purchased at Coinbase, beginning back in 1917. The value of my Bitstamp is approximately $79.000 USD, and it is not right for Bitstamp to hold my funds.

Desired outcome: I would like Bitstamp to restore my account to full functionality, or, if Bitstamp does not choose to do that, I would like to get all my Bitcoin and cash returned to me by Bitstamp.Account Owner: Dwight Johnson

I have the same problem, Very frustrating. Bitstamp has disabled all my account functions. I cannot deposit, withdraw, buy or sell. All support does is respond with same Stupid email " We are working on it thanks for your Patience" What a JOKE. Truly appalling Business practice as well as Unethical. I have had an account since 2019 and have 6 figures plus balance. Need to find a way to go after these people. Could be another FTX?
