Same as everyone else here - lost $5,000 - excuses excuses. I am an attorney and will be filing a class action suit against this company. I will also be filing a report with the State law enforcement agency (like FBI but on state level), as well as federal law enforcement. We purchased our Frenchie back in November 2022. We were assured we would get a valid Canadian Kennel Club registration that could be used to obtain an AKC registration for him. His birthdate, we were assured, was in August 2022. We then received a vaccination certificate which showed a June 2022 birth date. Kevin at the breeder assured me that the vaccination info was incorrect and swore to me the birth date was August 2022 but said he could not get the date changed on the vaccination certificate.

There were huge problems with timing of delivery, products that were supposed to come with the puppy, and delays in finally getting a CKC registration. We finally did get the CKC registration after many months, but the AKC refused to provide an AKC registration on the ground that they already had a dog from the same mother born in June 2022 so our dog could not have been born in August 2022. Kevin from Bettys then told me that our dog was in fact born in June 2022, despite having sworn to me earlier that this was not the case. Trying to get him to get the information to the CKC to change the birth date on the certificate has been ridiculous. It has been many years and the CKC told me just today that they have unsuccessfully attempted to contact Bettys on numerous occasions to get the information they need to change the birth date so I can get a revised CKC certificate and use that to get my AKC registration. The CKC’s requests, however, have been ignored. This is infuriating. I will say that I love our Frenchie, but the customer service and fraudulent representations of Bettys are things all consumers must be aware of before attempting to purchase any dog from them.

BEWARE!

To start, I ordered the puppy in September 2022 paying $1,000 and as I can demonstrate in all my WhatsApps, and then, made a fully payment for it in January 2023 paying $ 6,400 more.

The agreement for the fully payment was that the puppy; a female maltipoo, would arrive 3 - 4 weeks later. We have waited February, March, April, May, June, July and August and still no news of a date for a puppy. I have been asking my refund since they don’t send the dog from April 2023 but no answers on the phone! Only WhatsApp asking us for more patience….

It has been six months now since the puppy should have arrived and the puppy hasn’t arrived.. my husband and I don’t want to wait more and neither my 5 years old son who has waited ALL this Time. Waited Christmas, waited his birthday ects…

I have been extremely patient with them.

I am not I’m not going to wait 24 more hours to tell everyone all this fraud.

When we bought from them the dog, I understood as they told me, they were a Canadian serious breeder; as I can demonstrate with my WhatsApps… They said the dog Was in Canada….in March they said all the problem is from importing the dog from South Korea?

Then the tried to make a process for sending a 6 month old dog when we bought a puppy that should be at the most 4 months for our country regulations.

All this process has been very upsetting for us and I am tired of writing to them on a daily basis.

They don’t want to refund us! They are not doing anything for sending the puppy!

PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS BREEDER wich obviously is not a breeder; they are traders offering something they don’t have.

I sent $1,000 on PayPal and $5,000 by wire in May 2023. I was supposed to receive puppy by June 10, 2023. By end of July I had still not received puppy. First it was logistics, then puppy was sick, then the airline wouldn’t let them fly. It went on and on. PayPal refunded my money but I am still due the $5,000. I even offered to fly to JFK to retrieve puppy myself if that would help expedite things but still no puppy.

I purchased a puppy from Betty's on March 17, 2023 for $6,300. They said the puppy would be delivered on or around April 20th. The first issue that arose was Betty's said that they didn't fly to Houston where I am located and the closest they could get to me was Dallas (6 hour drive). This is how I learned that the puppy was coming directly from South Korea in the cargo hold, not from Canada where I believed the puppy was located. By April 15th they still had not provided a date so when I asked what the hold up was, they said the puppy was sick and put on antibiotics so she couldn't travel. When I pushed to get her as soon as possible (she was 12 weeks old at this point) Betty's said that for some reason they could no longer fly her into Dallas and that I needed to pay $900 more for a nanny and I did. I was given May 2nd as the delivery date. Then on May 2nd Betty's said that the airline canceled the flight. I asked for proof of this and it was not provided. After pushing for a new date, I was finally given the date of May 16th. On May 15th Betty's claimed that the airline had canceled the flight "due to logistics". Again, no proof of this was provided. At this point after more than a month of excuses, I have to believe I will never receive the dog. Please do not be fooled by this company.

I got a toy poodle from Betty. I was super excited but the outcome was depressing and unforgettably sad. Betty never tells anyone that the dogs are from Korea let alone a puppy mill. She sells sick dogs. My dog had a tumor and cancer and the vet said that it was so big that it's been there a long time. And we had only had that dog for 2 weeks. That dog was okay with sitting in his own feces because he probably had to do so when he was with Betty and "dog breaded" (puppy mill). When we got the dog he was only skin and bone and it seemed like he was NEVER FED EVER.
I highly recommend finding a differ breaded then her.

Mine "Stitch" died after a week of a 1cm stomach ulcer. They are claiming that their vet hospital in Korea, "Dream Veterinarian Hospital" found him to be healthy 24 hours before his flight. How did this "legitimate" veterinarian hospital not find a 1cm stomach ulcer. After suffering for days in pain, and trips to the veterinarian, he passed away. He refused to eat because his ulcer was so painful. I bottle fed him chicken broth for 3 days trying desperately to revive him, watching him in so much pain, and dying was so tragic and traumatizing. He died a week after I got him. They have tried to say this was a "hypo" attack aka a hypoglycemic attack. I had a vet disprove that. He was given a safe, warm, loving home, full of clean toys, blankets, and a soft, plush bed, and given the best smalldog food money can buy. I showed them a preliminary autopsy, which clearly shows that this is genetic. They ignored me for a week, after I first sent the preliminary autopsy. And are still not trying to give me my money back. I would never be comfortable accepting another dog from them. After reading how many times they have done this, it's incredible that they act shocked upon being confronted. I want to make sure that they never have the chance to do this to anyone ever again. Betty Pedram scammed us. Tomorrow is supposed to be a very exciting day. My 13-year-old daughter and her friend we're going to pick up our new puppy at JFK airport. I noticed the phone number on the invoice was wrong and called Korean Airlines. He said that the transactionWas canceled. Kevin called me and said that it was canceled because the puppy was too small. He gave some excuses to drag things out more like the dog could be shipped to Canada then to us. It has been a nightmare these past several weeks. There have been changes in plans, no return call's, excuses, and so on. Needless to say we lost $5000 and never received our puppy. After reading how sick her puppies are it Might have been a blessing.Please listen to your gut instincts and never do business Betty's Teacup puppies for Betty's teacup Yorkies. We bought a very expensive puppy from Bettys teacup yorkies and she assured me everything was legit and we were all set to go, then never responded never wrote me back never took any of my calls emails etc! I have filed fraud with my bank and PayPal I don't know if I will be able to get any of the money back! What a discussing women would ever do that to people! My poor kids were so excited and now I have to break the news that horrible people exist in this world !

Joanne pedram came into an agreement with me to send me a puppy within a given date and never sent out the puppy. I am out thousands of dollars and she will not answer my messages or phone calls.
Do not purchase from her! She will feed you lies and her worker will feed you lies as well! I filed a police report and it will be sent from my local police to calgary police as well are her bank for an investigation. I am hoping she will be arrested for scamming everyone.
I should of done my research before. Don't listen to the one positive review she has. She wrote it herself. Anyone who has personal information on her such as her birthdate, address, work place, or anything, please post it on here so we can send it to the police.

Bought a pomeranian from Betty Tea Cup Yorkies 4/4/15 for 4k plus shipping cost. As soon as we picked up the pom an hour later the dog was abnormally sick. We had to rush to tbe vet where they told us the pup would never make it. She said all these dogs come in very sick and the travel abroad was probably stressful for the dog. They come in a CRATE ALONE! No one is with them and God know what the temperature/enviornment is like. After forking out another $400 at the emergency clinic we had to put our dog of only one hour to sleep. I'm so disgusted about the entire situation I don't know what to say. I called the owner and she doesn't want to give me a refund just wants to give me another dog. Why would I want another dog after the experience I just had?! And to top it off the dog didn't look nearly as healthy as all the fake photos and videos that were emailed. Extremely disgusted and worst experience EVER! DO NOT BUY FROM BETTY'S TEA CUP YORKIES!

We have been contacted by Ms. Betty of Betty's Tiny Yorkies to transport a T-Cup puppy to you in the U.K.

The process is a bit involved because it's illegal to fly directly into the U.K. so we have to use an alternate method.

Your transporter will have to fly the puppy to Amsterdam. From there, they will take the train to the Hoek Van Holland Port (2 hours) where your transporter will clear DEFRA (USDA Equivalent) and board the "Stena Line Ferry". From there they will cross the english channel (9 hour ferry ride) where they will arrive at the Port of Harwich in the United Kingdom. There your transporter will hand deliver the puppy.

Because of how involved it is, the base fee to pickup at the Port of Harwich is $2, 500. Should you require delivery anywhere else it will require getting their by rail at which point the price increases.

Once we know where exactly we have to deliver, we will give you dates that we have available, once we decide on a date we will submit to you a Paypal Invoice. Please remit payment within 48 hours to secure your transport date. We will then send you a detailed flight itinerary with all pertinent information required for pickup including our Terms & Conditions.

first of i would like to say that betty/Joanne pedram is NOT a breeder! she is a puppy broker who buys and resales korean puppy mill dogs.
i have had my experience with this professional scam artist and know first hand how deceiving she can be, DO NOT LET HER FOOL YOU ! she is not who you think she is nor who i thought she was.
i purchased an adorable pom, when i finally got her she was extremely sick and had recurring hypoglycemia attacks. i took her to our vet and had him run many tests, to my shock he told us that she had liver shunt and heart mermer. my baby died at 6th MONTHS OLD! i purchased her from betty's teacup yourkies! i dont want a replacement from her, i dont want another heart ache! had i known my dog was from korea i never would have delt with her. i hope this helps someone elce to not end up woth the pain and dissapointment that i have had to deal with.

Why is it she refuses to show pictures of parents? This woman is deleting ALL inquiries from her facebook page, selling them at an inflated price! I think it needs to be investigated...please people ASK QUESTIONS LOTS of questions!

I bought a yorkie girl from Betty Pedram. ( Betty's teacup yorkies )

She was cute little thing but after few weeks, she started having a seizure.
I brought her to the vet and found out she has liver problems and collapsed trachea.
My vet told me she wouldn't be able to live long.

I contacted Betty Pedram about this matter.
All she said was if the dog dies within a year, she will give us replacement puppy.
Should I be expecting my dog to die early so I can get another puppy?
I found it so sickening.

My dog had multiple seizures and now, I can't even be out for a long time because I am so scared of her having a seizure when no one is around. I adore her so much and it is so heart breaking to see her suffering.

If you are considering about buying a puppy from Betty, I strongly suggest you not to.
Buying her puppy will most likely to cause you expensive vet bills and broken heart.
