Barker Air Conditioning and Heating

Barker's a/c & heating was hired to do work at my house through (AHS) American Home Sheild, Barker's a/c & heating co has been to my house 4 times for my A/C. on June 18, 2010 they sent a tech out to check the A/C due to non cooling, when he showed up i nicely asked him to please remove his shoes, or atleast plase shoe covers on them, however he refused to do so and said he does not remove his shoes for anyone. Ok so moving along, about a month later the A/C went out again for the same reason not cooling. Well they send the same tech out to my house, so after he look at my units he siply leaves my house with out telling me any updates he didnt leave me anything stating the damage, however about an hour later AHS calls and imforms me that there are non covered charges that i will need to pay for out of pocket.

Out of the 4 times that tech has come out never has he informed me that i need to replace any of what AHS was telling me i need to change, well i knew something was fishy so i called another company to come out and give me a second opinion, and just like i suspected i didnt need all that Barker's a/c & heating was telling AHS i need to replace $1040 worth of parts that were nit needed, all i paid ARS was $95 to replace the evap coil, float switch, drain pan, acsess door, ect i am very pleased with ARS work that i will use them from now, and Barker's a/c & heating has been placed on my rejected list with American Home Sheild.
