Harassing phone calls to me and my work
I received a call from my work and my boss that I needed to call this 'Locator Services Company' in order for me not to be served legal papers at my place of employment. This company also called my cell and informed me that I will be served to appear in Court for a payday loan with BMG for $300. They had the last four of my SS number and told me of a date of the claim (four years ago!) They said they served my bank with an affidavit to give them my info. Banks don’t give out personal info! They said if I didn't give them my credit card info, I would have to go to court and it would be $5, 000., instead of the $650 that I currently owe them. When I asked for the information to be emailed to me of who I owe and why I owe it, they said they could only do that if I PAID THEM FIRST! I explained that obviously I would not be giving my credit card or any other information to anyone that I did not know.

Harrassment
These people are harassing me at work threatning to bring police officers to my job and take leagal action if I don't repay a loan I've never taken.
I've never heard of this company, nor do I have a ghost account they claim to have wired the money to, they have my social security #, and they are also calling family members.
What can be done?
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
How did you guys finally get it to stop? I have paid off the payday loan that I did have with another company previously. I have never had a loan through these people and they will not stop! I don't know what else to do and I live paycheck to paycheck with a baby (9months). I have to support him since his father sure isn't! At my wits end!
I received basically the same type of call..this company called "Comprehensive" contacted me one day just out of the clear blue, stating that they had a case file that was given to them from a company called "CMG", that was a subsiderary of "Bahama Marketing Group, and that I owed them $480 for an unpaid payday loan. I asked what was the name of this payday loan and they would not tell me, said they did not have that information. They used a great scare tactic, because at one time I did get an online payday loan, but I had already taken care of it years ago. So, I began to try and find out what was going on and could not get any info from these people. I did make a couple payments to them, then they began to take money from my account unauthorized, and I to report it to my financial institution, which my account was instantly closed! I do not know who these people are nor who this place is? I am sick and tired of getting harassing calls and threats made, makes me not able to sleep at night due to the fact of how much of my information they have about me, and makes me wonder if they would show up at my place of residence to harm me and my family...These people should be arrested not me!
I just started receiving harassing calls from the same company, when asked what particular loan are you referring to, they could not tell me. Do these people think I would blindly pay them, because they said they would have me arrested? I think not. They use scare tactics that don't make any sense, since when does the Constable call and warn an individual that they will be served a summons, they act on the "element of surprise" .
I am recently having the same problem with this company. I have received phone calls telling me to wire money to settle my debt, but I never received a loan from the company. I told them to send me a letter stating the debt and supposed fees, but the company claimed it was not possible. Did you ever resolve your issue? and if so how?
