AuctionZip Did not honor my bid after being approved - Lost on a great deal

I am absolutely livid and frustrated with AuctionZip(Invaluable) and Vogt Auctions. I placed a bid on AuctionZip (Invaluable) which is one of the online platforms Vogt uses for their auctions. I was approved and placed a bid on an item over a week and a half prior to the auction. During the auction, my bid was passed over and unable to bid live via AuctionZip. I had the high/winning bid by $150 compared to the person who ended up winning the auction using LiveAuctioneers as their platform. I confirmed this with the live feed of the auction on YouTube, as well as talking directly to the owners of Vogt. If a platform is deemed to not work, why are they using this platform? I have been looking for this very specific item that came up for auction for more than 4 years and was willing to pay good money for it. I rightfully should have won but neither Vogt or AuctionZip (Invaluable) can or will do anything for me. I am left out to dry for something I should have rightfully won. I sold items that I can no longer get back to ensure I had the money for this specific lot. I passed over other lots in the auction to ensure I was able to keep bidding on the specific lot. I am furious with Vogt and AuctionZip (Invaluable) for this injustice. I have screenshots and video proving that I was the high bidder and should have won. But the owner of Vogt said there’s nothing he can do for me. It’s safe to say they have lost my business. I understand that this is not all Vogt’s fault, as AuctionZip was the main point of failure, but the fact that they use this platform will continue to use it is absolutely wrong. I have witnessed many auction houses stop live bidding to ensure their online platforms are synched and working correctly, however this was clearly not done with Vogt. An absolute embarrassment of an auction house!

Recommendation: Use another platform

AuctionZip AuctionZip: A Disappointing and Misleading Listing Service

Okay, so let's talk about AuctionZip. I gotta tell ya, I was pretty disappointed with this site when I first checked it out. They're all about promoting auction listings, but if you think they'll show you the most popular auctions, think again. Turns out, they're just putting the ones that paid them in the top spots! What a load of bull. And don't even get me started on their so-called "Most Viewed Auctioneer". That's just a bunch of baloney. You know what they should do? Call them featured auctions and call it a day.

But there's more. Anyone can list on this site claiming they're an Auction Company, even if they ain't conducted a single auction in their life. And it's not like AuctionZip is vetting these peeps. They're just raking in the dough however they can. They don't care about being a true auction listing service, they just want to make a quick buck.

Now, I'm not saying don't check out this site if you're looking to attend an auction in your area. It's got some decent listings. But for real, don't be fooled by their top viewed nonsense. Just be smart and do your research. You'll find the real gems without AuctionZip's help.

AuctionZip AuctionZip Needs to Revert to Their Old Ways - a Disappointed User's Review

So, I gotta say, I used to love AuctionZip. It was a real lifesaver when it came to finding good local auctions. But now, I'm just not feeling it anymore.
First of all, what happened to the calendar? That was like the most useful feature ever and now it's gone. Instead, you gotta click all these different options every single time you wanna search for something. Ain't nobody got time for that!
And don't even get me started on the keyword search. Back in the day, when you typed in a keyword, it would show up all nice and highlighted in the actual auction listings. That way you could tell if the item you were looking for was even gonna be there before you wasted your time going to the auction. But now, it's like they just threw that feature right out the window! Now I gotta read through all these long descriptions and just hope that my keyword is in there somewhere. And half the time it's not even there! Ugh.
And another thing - I always click the option to view only auctions that are in-person, not online. I don't know about you, but I like actually going to the auction and seeing things in person before I bid on them. But for some reason, it still shows me all these online auctions that I don't even care about. Like, what's up with that, AuctionZip?
I hate to say it, but whoever decided to change things up really dropped the ball. Big time. They need to just admit they made a mistake and go back to the way things used to be. Plain and simple.

AuctionZip Avoid AuctionZip: A Scammer's Paradise with No Buyer Protection

Honestly, AuctionZip is a site that I would not recommend. It's like they're setting you up to be scammed! They'll give you a sense of urgency to pay for your item, telling you that you risk getting banned from other auctions if you don't. Then they send you a Docusign contract to seem all legit and professional. They'll even answer your phone calls and emails until you cough up the dough. But here's the kicker: they only accept Wire transfer, no credit cards or anything else. This is so they can safely drain your account without any chance of bouncing or blocking the funds.

I learned this the hard way when I won a supposed "stolen car" and picked it up in some sketchy parking lot by a corn field. The seller promised the title would be in the glove box, mailed, or at their office. I eventually found a person who had the key to the car, but when I went to pick it up at the office, there was no one to be found. To make matters worse, the emails I sent inquiring about the car all bounced back due to some bogus tracking on USPS return address. And now, to top it all off, the AuctionZip website domain name is no longer valid.

It's really disappointing to see people use good ideas to scam others. Stay far away from AuctionZip, folks!

AuctionZip Bidding on AuctionZip: A Review of the Pros and Cons

Hey everyone, if you're looking to score some sweet deals on auctions, AuctionZip is definitely worth checking out. But, there are some things you should watch out for.

First off, those "estimates" they give out? They can be totally inflated, so make sure you do your research before bidding. And let me tell you, buyer's premiums can be real wildcards. Some of them are reasonable at around 15% or less, but some can be absolutely insane at 25% or more. And don't forget about shipping charges! It's usually better if the auction house does the shipping for you, since they often only charge actual cost. But, be careful if they use third party shippers who can sometimes overcharge you.

If you're thinking about picking up your winnings yourself, some auction houses will slap a "service fee" on you for doing so. And let's not forget about the pictures. If they're small or blurry, that usually means the item is damaged in some capacity.

Now, I know I've gotten some killer stuff on AuctionZip at really great prices. But, as always, it's best to check other sites like eBay, Etsy, and Craigslist to make sure you're getting the best deal possible.

All in all, I'd say it's worth checking out AuctionZip for some awesome finds. But, if you can, try to attend the auction in person. It's always more fun to see the items up close and personal, and you never know what kind of hidden treasure you might find!

AuctionZip AuctionZip Goes Online: Is It Worth It?

I'll tell you what, AuctionZip (auctionzip.com) used to be the bee's knees for us auction-lovin' folks. I mean, I've been using this website for over 15 years, searching for auctions all over the place. I'd travel to the ends of the earth just to find that one tiny auction house that had the goods I needed to keep my business goin'. And let me tell you, I've spent a pretty penny at some of these places. Like, I dropped a cool $10,000 at one joint that was in the middle of nowhere. But I wouldn't have found it without AuctionZip.

Back in the day, this website was so helpful. You could search by distance and type in keywords to find exactly what you were looking for. And man, that calendar was a lifesaver. I could plan out my whole dang trip around the auctions that were happening in certain areas.

But then they had to go and ruin it all. Now, they're all about this online bidding junk. And let me tell you, it's a real rip off. They charge a 22% buyer's premium, 7% sales tax, AND jacked up shipping costs. I could ship the same dang item for a quarter of the price they charge.

I'm real disappointed in this new "improved" site. It's totally worthless to me now. And I've noticed that a lot of auction houses aren't bothering to list their auctions on there anymore. I don't blame 'em. They're losing out on thousands of dollars from me alone because I can't even find their auctions anymore.

I'd tell 'em to demand that AuctionZip go back to their old format or quit payin' 'em altogether. 'Cause this just ain't workin' for any of us regular folks.

AuctionZip AuctionZip: An Outdated, Ad-Focused Website That Needs to Get Its Act Together

So, there's this website called AuctionZip (auctionzip.com) and let me tell you, it just ain't cutting it. They're still using old school software that looks like it's from 1999, complete with those darn nag screen popups that nobody wants to deal with. And don't even get me started on those rotating banner ads that they're so proud of - they're as useful as a screen door on a submarine.

To be honest, it seems like AuctionZip cares more about advertising than actually doing auctions. Like seriously, what are they even thinking? They're so focused on the wrong part of their business model that they're leaving millions on the table. It's like they have no idea what they're doing. And that's a darn shame, because they've got a pretty big name in the auction world.

I mean, come on AuctionZip, get your act together. There's money to be made out there and you're just leaving it there for the taking. It's really frustrating to see a company waste their brand like this. It's like watching a cake burn in the oven - it's painful and unnecessary.

Overall, AuctionZip needs to step up their game and start putting more effort into their actual auctions instead of their advertising. It's not rocket science, y'all.

AuctionZip Mixed Bag of Online Auctions on AuctionZip: My Thoughts on US Jewelry Liquidators

Dude, have you checked out AuctionZip? Let me tell you, it's a mixed bag. Some of the online auctions on there are legit, but then there's the scammers like US Jewelry Liquidators. They offer jewelry and precious metals for "auction" starting at just a buck, but don't be fooled. That silver and those Rolex watches never actually sell for those prices. Nope, no way. All of the silver "sells" for $20-$40 less than the low end of their estimate, and those Rolex watches? They "sell" for around 60 percent of the low end of their estimate!

But wait, it gets worse. These shenanigans happen for all silver and Rolex watches offered on there. It's like a big ol' fakeout, man. And when I contacted AuctionZip to complain, they told me to contact the auction house directly. What kind of BS is that? If the auction is listed on the AuctionZip site, the site should be responsible, yo.

But, hey, not all is lost. There's other jewelry on there that seems totally legit, so if you're willing to sift through the fakes to find that shiny gem of an auction, then go for it. But if you ain't got time to waste bidding on silver and Rolexes that you'll only get if you pay at least double what they're worth, then stay away from US Jewelry Liquidations.

AuctionZip Review: New Format of AuctionZip - A Total Waste of Time!

I gotta say, the new format for AuctionZip is not doing it for me at all. I mean, it's a total waste of time. I went all the way 900 miles to get a clock that I wanted and it was not easy to find. Ain't nobody got time for that! The problem is that there's no dang calendar to schedule my trips, which is just ridiculous. If I'm willing to travel for a clock, I want a way to make sure I'm going on the right day, you know what I mean?

And what's with the search feature? Like, gimme a break. When I'm looking for a clock, I don't wanna see watches from some other country. Can we at least get an option to choose which countries we want to see auctions from? And why can't I just search for "clock" in the titles only? Instead, it brings up anything with "clock" or "o'clock" in it, even watches that I don't care about at all.

But I will say that the number of items on HiBid has definitely gone up since the changes to AuctionZip. Maybe some of the auctioneers got the memo? I also noticed that some of the auctions that are being advertised on AuctionZip aren't even happening there. They're happening on other sites! What's up with that?

Honestly, if you really wanna make a change, reach out to some auctioneers close to where you live and tell them how you feel. Ask 'em where they're advertising so you can keep up with their auctions. I mean, why should we waste all this time trying to find auctions when we just wanna find cool stuff?

And by the way, I think that AuctionZip and Invaluable are basically the same thing, right? But who cares? All I want is to find my dang clock without having to search the entire world for it!

AuctionZip Review: AuctionZip - A Sketchy Website with Deceptive Practices

Alright, let me start by saying that AuctionZip (auctionzip.com) is a bit of a sketchy website. Don't get me wrong, it's not all bad. Some people have found decent deals on there and it can be a fun way to pass the time if you're into auctions. But, personally, I would stay far away from it.

I've heard horror stories of people buying things on AuctionZip and then never receiving their items. And even if they do get their items, they're often not in the condition that was advertised. It's all just a big mess, if you ask me.

I wouldn't be surprised if there are some shady things going on behind the scenes at AuctionZip. I mean, who runs a website that's so unreliable? It's not fair to the people who are trying to bid on items in good faith. And don't even get me started on the "final sale" auctions. Those are a total joke.

Honestly, I'm considering joining a class action against AuctionZip for their deceptive practices. I've been reading up on it and it seems like a lot of other people have had similar experiences to me. It's time for them to be held accountable for their actions.

And let me tell you, if I ever get the chance to go to AuctionZip's headquarters, I will be there in a heartbeat. They need to know that their customers are not happy and we won't stand for their shenanigans any longer.

If AuctionZip wants to avoid a public backlash, they better start doing the right thing and delivering on their promises. And if they don't, well, we'll just have to shut them down ourselves.

In the end, it's all about corporate social responsibility. If AuctionZip isn't willing to take responsibility for their actions, then they shouldn't be in business. It's as simple as that.

So yeah, stay far away from AuctionZip if you can. And if you do decide to bid on something, just be prepared to possibly get ripped off. It's a sad state of affairs, but that's just how it is.

AuctionZip AuctionZip Review: Poor Customer Service, Overcharging, Late Delivery

I gotta tell ya, my experience with AuctionZip was a total bust. I accidentally bid on a ring (thank you, touch screen computer!) during my first online auction and tried to fix my mistake, but it was like pulling teeth trying to get help from their customer service. I left messages, sent emails, but nobody was responding. Finally, a representative emailed me back and told me that I could get my money back, but I'd have to pay a 20% restocking fee. Ouch!

To make matters worse, I got an invoice shortly after that charging me for 2 of the same ring. What the heck?! I had to send another email to get that sorted out, and I decided to buy one of the rings since it was my mistake. I paid for it on January 7th, but it wasn't until January 18th that I got an email saying that the ring was being delivered. Wow, way to take your time, guys.

When I checked the tracking number on the FedEx website, it said that the label had been created but the package hadn't even been sent. I sent a couple more emails, but heard nothing back from the rep. I was getting frustrated, to say the least. When I finally messaged them demanding my money back, I got an instant response filled with typos and mistakes - clearly sent in a rush because I was ticked off.

Long story short, I called my credit card company to dispute the charges and told the representative that I wanted nothing to do with this company's merchandise. But then, guess what? Suddenly I got a text from FedEx saying that the ring would be delivered in 3 days, even though I had explicitly told them in an earlier email that I didn't want it anymore. I was so fed up at that point that I just gave up and decided to accept the darn thing.

Overall, my trust in AuctionZip is gone. I don't think I'll ever want to use their service again.

AuctionZip Unreliable Online Bidding: My Frustrating Experience with Auctionzip and Blackwood Auctions

So, I was bidding on Auctionzip for this cool item I really wanted on 4/28/17. I put in a max bid of $700, thinking that could totally get me this treasure. Lo and behold, Auctionzip notified me that I had won the bid - hooray! They said I won it for $450, which was less than my max bid, so I was feeling pretty good about the whole thing.

But then I went to pay for my item with Blackwood Auctions and they told me that someone on the floor actually won the item for $450. What the heck?! I was so confused and frustrated. I called Auctionzip to figure out what happened and they basically told me that this is just how it goes sometimes. Apparently, the auction house awarded the item to the floor bidder for less than my top bid, even though I won the online bidding. I don't know whose fault it is, but I'm pretty miffed about the whole experience.

Honestly, I don't think I'll be doing any more business with either Auctionzip or Blackwood Auctions in the future. It just seems like there's too much confusion and miscommunication happening. Plus, I don't want to risk getting my heart set on an item, only to have it taken away from me at the last second. So, my recommendation is to be really careful when bidding online with Auctionzip - you never know what could happen!

AuctionZip AuctionZip's New Site: A Disappointing Downgrade

OMG! Have y'all checked out the new AuctionZip website? I mean, I get that they were trying to update things, but this is straight up hot trash! It's like they took a machine gun to the old site and left only a few measly features standing.

Firstly, what's up with the damn calendar?! It used to be so easy to see when and where auctions were being held. But now, I'm lucky if I can find more than 4-5 auctions listed, let alone ones with the items I'm looking for. I miss being able to quickly assess 20-30 auctions in a month with just one little window. It's like they want me to spend all day browsing their site, and I ain't got time for that!

I dunno, maybe the higher-ups at AuctionZip wanna make the auctioneers feel like they're getting the best local exposure. But in reality, all they're doing is limiting information to the most active users. And let's be real, who's gonna become an active user on a site that makes you work for every scrap of info? Not me, that's for sure.

Overall, I'm pretty dang bummed about the changes to AuctionZip. I'm already looking for other sites to use instead. If they don't figure things out soon, I think they're gonna lose a ton of loyal users. So get it together, AuctionZip, before it's too late!

AuctionZip AuctionZip's Captcha System is Blocking Bidders and Driving us Crazy!

Dang, AuctionZip is really testing my patience lately. Every time I try to check out an auction, I'm hit with this captcha thing. I don't even know what it is, but it's blocking me from getting a look at the stuff up for grabs. And let me tell you, some of those photos are bluuuurrry. I can't even tell if what they're asking me to click on is in the dang picture or not! I'm not the only one with this problem, right? Like, c'mon, AuctionZip, get your act together.

What's really frustrating is that this captcha thing is probably keeping other bidders away too. Like, if I can't even see the auction, what's the point of bidding on stuff? And for sellers out there, think about the poor souls like me who can't get into the auctions. Your items might not get the attention they deserve, ya dig?

Honestly, with all these issues, I've started looking elsewhere for my auction fix. It's a shame because AuctionZip used to be a go-to for me. But if they can't get their website in order, I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

AuctionZip Beware of Dishonest Administrators at Johnstown Auction - My Experience with AuctionZip

So, let me tell you about my experience with AuctionZip. It was honestly one of the worst auctions I've ever been to, and let me start by saying that I'm not one to complain or leave negative reviews lightly. The only reason I'm writing this is to hopefully spare someone else the same disappointment and frustration that I went through.

Firstly, I have to say that the family who owned the auction were wonderful. They were kind, welcoming, and really went out of their way to make sure everyone felt comfortable and had a good time. I genuinely have no complaints whatsoever about them.

However, the auctioneer, Jerry, was pretty awesome himself. He was really engaging and kept everyone entertained throughout the auction. Unfortunately, Greg - who I assume was one of the administrators - was not so great. In fact, he was pretty dang rude. He didn't seem to care about anything other than making a quick buck and getting out of there as soon as possible.

My main issue with Greg was that he sold one particular item to a single person in a group sale without asking anyone else if they were interested. Personally, I think that's pretty shady behavior. It's one thing if the item was something completely obscure that no one else would be interested in, but this was a pretty popular item that several people had expressed interest in.

Further, Greg did this sketchy "all out deal" with a lady who seemed to be following him around the auction. I'm not saying that's illegal or anything, but it definitely doesn't seem ethical to me. It just seems a little too convenient, if you know what I mean.

To make matters worse, he straight-up lied to everyone waiting on items. He wouldn't sell any of the things the lady wanted, even if other people had been bidding on them. I honestly couldn't believe it - it felt like being scammed.

This all went down in Johnstown, and I really wouldn't recommend doing business with Greg or this lady. I'm not sure what their deal is, but it definitely doesn't seem above board. I hate to say this, but I wouldn't trust them as far as I could throw them.

All in all, I just found the whole experience really disappointing. I hope that the family who owned the auction don't associate themselves with Greg and this lady anymore because they really don't deserve to have their reputation dragged down by them. It's a shame that people like this exist - it just feels so slimy and unprofessional. I wouldn't hire Greg or trust him with anything valuable. Frankly, it just seems like he'd rob you blind if he had the chance.

Anyway, I guess that's my two cents on AuctionZip. If you're thinking about attending one of their auctions, just be sure to keep your wits about you and don't trust Greg or this lady too much. You never know when they might try to pull a fast one on you.

AuctionZip Questionable COA on AuctionZip.com - Is it worth the risk?

So, I was all pumped up to buy an autographed baseball by Dizzy Dean. I found the perfect one online on AuctionZip.com. But then I noticed something fishy. The COA was from K Gold Collectibles, and I couldn't find anything about them on the internet. I mean, they must not be very big, right?

Now, I'm no expert in COAs, but I know that a legit company like Steiner Sports would show up all over the place in searches. So, I was a little skeptical. Sure, I've bought some cool baseball items without autographs from Auction Zips in the past, but it seemed like they might not be totally on the ball when it comes to validating COAs.

I mean, don't get me wrong, I'll still use Auction Zips for non-autographed stuff. I just wouldn't risk buying something that I'm not 100% sure of its authenticity.

Anyway, if any of you have had different experiences with Auction Zips and COAs, let me know! I can admit when I'm wrong. But until then, I'll be sticking to verified sellers who have their stuff together.

AuctionZip Mixed Results: My Experience with AuctionZip

!

Hey, so I've been checking out AuctionZip for a hot minute now, and let me tell you, it's a mixed bag. I've definitely snagged some sweet deals on some cool stuff, but lately things have been sort of weird. Like, if you take a good look at the listings and where the auctions are happening, you might notice that a lot of the companies in the LA/SoCal area seem to be selling the same stuff. Like, almost exactly the same. And here's the kicker: turns out these companies don't even have offices! They're just operating out of private mailboxes. That's a little sketch, don't you think?

But that's not even the half of it. When you're bidding on stuff, you might find yourself going up against these companies who want to jack the prices up--even if that means bidding against you! And let me tell you, honey, they know how to play the game. A lot of times I've ended up paying way more than I would have if I'd just gone to the store. And you know what's even worse? Sometimes after you've won the bid, these companies just up and refuse to actually sell to you! But if you make a mistake, then suddenly it's all "binding contract" this, "legal obligation" that.

Honestly, I'm starting to think it might be best to just steer clear of AuctionZip altogether. But I'm also a sucker for a good deal, so I might stick around for a little bit longer and see what happens. Anyways, if you're reading this and you're thinking about using AuctionZip, just keep your wits about you and don't let those jerks take advantage of you!

AuctionZip Disappointing Auction Experience with Bidlastandwin on AuctionZip

So, my Aunt and Uncle recently moved from Tennessee to Illinois, and unfortunately they had to say goodbye to all of their furniture and household items. The good news is they were able to do an auction with "Bidlastandwin" on AuctionZip. The bad news, it ended up being quite expensive and not as successful as they hoped.

They had a few Lazy Boy recliners that they were hoping would sell for a good price, but unfortunately the items were not posted on the website until only 3 days before the auction ended. And even worse, once they were finally posted, the items sold for almost nothing!

Another frustrating part of the experience was that they had quite a few Pfaltzgraff dishes that were never even posted for auction. Who knows what happened to those? It definitely feels like they missed out on opportunities to sell items that could have made them some extra cash.

Not to mention, they were charged several fees that were not properly explained by the auctioneer. When they tried reaching out to get more information, their calls went unanswered. It's never fun when you feel like you're being charged for things without a clear understanding of what is going on.

All in all, the 65 years of accumulated items that were sold only resulted in a bit over $1200.00. They had even done better with a garage sale! It definitely seems like there were a lot of missed opportunities and frustrating experiences with this auction.

AuctionZip AuctionZip: Changed Search Function & No Calendar, Epic Fail! Review

Yo folks, I wanna talk to y'all about AuctionZip. So they went and changed their search function, and lemme tell ya, it's a hot mess. They got rid of the calendar, which makes it a pain in the you-know-what to find auctions in my area. And don't even try to email them about it, cuz they ain't gonna respond.

I mean, I get it, sometimes change is good, but in this case, it's definitely for the worse. Like, if it ain't broke, why the heck do you gotta go and screw around with it?

I've been checking out some local auctions lately, and everyone there is talkin' about how AuctionZip sucks without the calendar. Like, seriously, what good is it without that feature?

Now, I'm hopin' there's a competitor out there with a search calendar, cuz I'll use it in a heartbeat. Without it, I'm givin' AuctionZip a negative 10.

And here's the thing, right? If auctioneers can't get people to their auctions, they're gonna start lookin' for other ways to advertise. One guy even said he might have to start putting ads in the newspaper again, which seems pretty old-school to me.

So, if y'all are lookin' for auctions in your area, maybe do a bit of research and find a site with a search calendar. Cuz right now, AuctionZip just ain't cuttin' it.

AuctionZip Buyer Beware: My Experience with AuctionZip

Well, let me tell you about my experience with AuctionZip! It was definitely a lesson learned. I wanted to buy something special, something that was hard to find in stores. So, I went to AuctionZip, thinking it would be a great place to find it.

I was excited to see so many items up for bid! But, as I started to bid on things, I realized that something was not right. The starting prices seemed too high, and the appraised values were unrealistic. It was confusing, and I didn't know how to tell if I was getting a good deal or not.

Eventually, I figured out that when they say something is worth $1000 to $2000, it really means it's only worth $100 to $200. What a scam! It seems like all the sellers on AuctionZip are just trying to make as much money as possible.

Even with the buyer premium and shipping costs factored in, I found that many items sold for the same price or less than I could have bought them for in a store. Plus, some sellers even charged a handling fee, which was just ridiculous.

One thing that really bothered me was that I suspected some of the people bidding online were actually part of the sellers' team, trying to drive up the prices. It's not fair to the honest buyers out there who just want a fair deal.

In the end, I realized that it's my responsibility to do my research before making a purchase. If I really want something, I can't just trust that AuctionZip will have a fair auction for it. I need to check the appraised value myself, and make sure I'm getting a good deal.

It would be great if AuctionZip had a feedback system for all the auction companies and buyers. Then, maybe buyers could help each other out and avoid getting ripped off. But, for now, it's up to me to be a savvy shopper and not let the crooks on AuctionZip take advantage of me.

AuctionZip Disappointing Experience with AuctionZip's Online Auction App: A Review

Alright so, it's November 13th 2019 and I was feeling pretty confident as I registered on auctionzip.com to bid on some sweet cars being auctioned off at Apple Tree Auction Center in Newark Ohio. I followed their instructions and provided my credit card info as requested, but then when I tried to start bidding, the darn auctioneers were acting like I needed their permission to spend my own money! Their online auction app informed me that I had a $1,000 limit and to increase it, I had to contact the auctioneer directly. You know what, I did just that and reached out to Apple Tree right away.

But y'all, things went wrong so fast! The lady that picked up the phone was so darn unhelpful and flat out refused to raise my limit unless I gave them my banking information or mailed a $5,000 check! Like, excuse me? I was so disappointed and honestly felt like I was being treated like crap for being a new customer. I mean, I already gave them my Mastercard info, what was that for? To play hard to get? Ugh, the whole experience was such a bummer and left a bad taste in my mouth.

At the end of the day, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't pretty frustrated with the whole ordeal. I don't know if I'll be using AuctionZip again after this, but I hope that other folks have better experiences than I did.
