Ashok Leyland review: Serious complaint regarding brake booster failure, resulting accident

Dear Sir/Madam,

This email is being written to bring to your notice a matter of serious negligence on the part of your service center.

We have repeatedly sent our vehicle to your service center regarding the brake-related issue. However, every time your team assured us that the vehicle had been completely repaired and was safe for operation.

From the very beginning, we have continuously raised complaints regarding the brake issue. Even during the last visit, your service team clearly stated and guaranteed that the vehicle was fully repaired. Despite these assurances, the brake booster problem continued to persist, which clearly indicates serious negligence on the part of your service team.

Due to this negligence and the continuous malfunction of the brake booster, our vehicle met with an accident while being driven on the road. As a result of this incident, our driver sustained injuries and another vehicle was also damaged. We have suffered financial losses, including vehicle repair costs and other related expenses.

We are attaching videos and photographs with this email, which clearly show that the accident occurred due to the brake booster malfunction, despite the issue having been repeatedly reported to your service center earlier.

Therefore, we hereby formally claim compensation of ₹1,40,000/- (Rupees One Lakh Forty Thousand Only) towards the damages, repair costs, and other related losses incurred due to this incident.

Please treat this email as an official complaint and claim notice. If we do not receive a satisfactory resolution and confirmation of compensation within 7 days of receipt of this email, we will be compelled to initiate further legal action to protect our rights, and the responsibility for the same will lie with your company and the concerned service center.

You are requested to urgently investigate this matter at a higher level and provide us with a written response at the earliest.
