Americas Best Value Inn review: the whole hotel

Sirs, my name is Barbara Chase and my husband and I have stayed at America's best Value Inn in Beardstown Illinois many times over the years and had found it adequate to our needs . But it has been a couple of years since the last time. We checked in on November 19th 2019 at about 1:30pm and checked out at approximately 8:15pm the same day after having a spider fall from the ceiling on to me and my husband finding cockroaches in the bathroom. The room was filthy and there were cigarette Burns and a smoke smell in the room even though I had requested a non smoking room. The managers tried to make excuses for the bugs saying we were on the ground floor it was to be expected. I DON'T THINK SO. That hotel is the nastiest place I have ever tried to stay and we will never stay there again! They even had the nerve to charge us for the night even though we didn't stay.
