The company refunded my money and the shipment was recalled before it got here. I'm so stoked now.

I don't get it, how can ComplaintsBoard.com give A+ to a company with a *** rating? Is it all about the money they pay? My doc sent my prescription to this company 2 days ago, but the sales guy, ***, says he never got it. Now he wants me to ask my doc to send it to me so I can send it to him. That's a hassle. I'm thinking of cancelling my order and finding another company. I even sent them 2 emails, but no response.

The sales guy lied to me when he said he had the Inogen Oxygen concentrator in stock and would ship it the same day. He charged my card but never sent anything. A week later, I called back but was put on hold and no one called me back. I went to their chat room and finally got PJ, who said they were out of stock for weeks. When I asked why they didn't tell me, he said it was my fault for not calling them and started insulting me because I wasn't nice. Don't trust them to take care of patients' needs!

This company is not good! I bought a portable oxygen concentrator for about $2,000.00. It's still under warranty but it broke. I had to send it off for repair (nothing available locally for warranty). It takes 4-6 weeks! I asked for a loaner or even to rent a unit until mine is fixed. They said no. I checked rental prices and it's $300.00 for the first week! I told American I want a refund so I can buy a new one for what it's going to cost to rent one for that period of time. They said someone from sales would call me "to get more information" and I haven't heard from them yet. I should have paid attention to the low rating. I didn't and this happened.

I bought an Inogen G3 from American Medical Sales & Rentals, Oxygen Concentrator Store. It was supposed to have a warranty for three (3) years. But when I got it, the nipple where the user supply hose attaches had a loose nut. I've been using it since 2018 when I bought it. I was worried about it then, but I needed it for a trip to Hawaii. I got two 10-hour batteries when I bought it. Today, I thought about it and called to get it fixed. That's when I found out the warranty is worthless and doesn't really exist. They wanted me to pay to ship it to them and pay $200.00 to rent a loaner unit. But it's not really a loaner, it's a rental. If this sounds like a scam, it might be classified as that by someone who paid for this unit. I'm wondering if the three b's will even post this.

We ordered the Claire Companion 5 on June 11th and were told it might take 3 weeks to arrive. We couldn't wait that long, so my husband found a cheaper option that would arrive sooner. He called American Medical Sales to cancel the order, but they didn't send an email to confirm. On July 8th, they notified us that they were sending the unit and charged $840 from my account. We tried to cancel the shipment, but UPS said no. We went to the bank to dispute the charge, but they said we'd have to pay if we received it. We haven't gotten it yet, and we don't want it! This company is a scam! I don't know how they got an A rating. Why can't you return an oxygen concentrator like anything else you buy online? Beware of this company!

I was lookin for a portable oxygen concentrator. I had rented a oxlife then the insurance sent a simply go concentrator that was dirty during the pandemic, so I decided I wanted to buy a new one of my own when I found American medical. I searched them on ComplaintsBoard.com found that they had some complaints but also noticed they take care of complaints after purchase. I found another company that had perfect reviews but after talking to them they wanted my card # before I had money in the bank to me that was high pressure so at that moment I made my decision to go with American medical the one I felt I could count on to work out the kinks if there were a problem. I called Matt *** at American Medical he was very knowledgeable. and talked to me about many different concentrators. I did my own research on some of the ones he mentioned and looked on *** to see what would suit me the best after about a week of no high pressure or calls from them I called Matt back to put my order in because i found the one I liked it is ***. I received it yesterday and. I am overjoyed with it. It is exactly what I need for my situation out of all that I have tried I find this to be more like the oxygen I had while In The hospital. I thank you Matt if you are reading this for all of your help. This company can be trusted.

I talked to the peeps at American Medical Sales & Rentals 'cause they needed some notes from me for a patient. But get this, the patient already shelled out $2700 for gear that wasn't even ordered by a doc through this company. Ain't that whack? They didn't even ask for permission to share info or request an order. The sales dude, *** was all like "I don't need no stinkin' order, just a note saying the patient needs oxygen." But that ain't enough to meet the requirements, ya know?

I bought something from this place 'cause the sales guy on the phone said it would work for me. But when I got it, it was way too big and not what I needed. I been trying to get a RAN from them for a while now, but they just keep stalling and not doing anything. I bought it back in July and still no resolution. Emails I send get a generic response that don't help at all. And when I call, I always get voicemail or the sales guy ain't there. It's frustrating.

I jus bought an Oxygen Concentrator from American Medical Sales & Rentals for my crib. It's been a few days since I paid and I still ain't got no shipping confirmation. My receipt says it's supposed to ship on 3/16 but when I asked about it, they told me it's on backorder. They told me to order it ASAP cuz they're selling out fast, but how they gonna sell me something they don't even have? Ain't they supposed to tell me if it's on backorder? If they did, I woulda gone somewhere else to get it. They told me it would ship "midweek" but when I didn't hear back, I hit them up and they told me it's on backorder and it's gonna be delayed for at least two weeks, maybe even longer. That's messed up that they took my money without telling me what's up. Overall, I'm hella unhappy with this business.
