Overcharging and Targeted Discrimination

Late August, I contacted American Home Contractors for cleaning the gutters of my house.

When cleaning the gutters, Mr. Omar Rivera, the technician, noticed a leak in the outside of the lower roof level. and suggested a roof inspection.

The estimator, Mr. Faraz Falak, came and did a minor inspection, and offered to tarp all the leaks in the roof for $500.00.

I accepted provided my insurance would pay. Mr. Falak stated that the insurance would pay.

Mr. Falak tarped only the outside leak using 1/4 of a tarp sheet (a tarp sheet costs about $10.00) and 4 nails. It took him 1 mn, but then Mr. Falak stated that the insurance would not pay. I refused to pay the $500.00. Mr. falak then called his manger Mr. Bean (I beleive) then handed me his cell phone. Mr. Bean was angry. Mr. Falak then said he would remove the tarp. I accepted. He did not remove the tarp and just left.

Then I called M. Omar Rivera directly and asked him to perform the roof inspection and provide estimates, hoping to give American home the contrat and correct the previous misunderstanding. Mr. Rivera came and inspected the roof.

For 3 weeks in September, I called Mr. Rivera directly [protected]) and the main office [protected]) several times, only to be given different excuses.
The last week of September, I called several times and left messages. Neither Mr. Rivera nor the main office would take my calls (I was black listed). I left messages but never got a call back.

Finally on Septembr 30, I called again the main office using a cell phone. The lady who answered then told me that the estimates would not be sent and I would not be serviced.

This is targeted discrimination and should be reprimanded or even American Home Contrators have its license suspended.
