Garabar earns 5 stars! Garabar replaced my roof and I am quite satisfied. They did everything they promised. Their representative took personal responsibility to make sure all my questions were answered and that I was happy with everything. He even sent me photos of progress midway through the job, when I couldn't be there. Everyone in the office was courteous and helpful. The job was well done (I had several leaks and some fascia board needed replacing and they took care of it all). The price was competitive. I am happy and would recommend Garabar.

We were very pleased with our entire Garabar experience from start to finish. *** was our Estimator. He was so polite & responsive - just a joy to deal with. The office staff was very efficient, professional & communicative. They kept us informed every step of the way. The roofing crew showed up when they were supposed to, completed the job in a timely manner and always cleaned up after themselves. We are very happy with our new roof and receive many compliments.

We found Garabar roofing to be a very professional company from start to finish. There salesman Tom explained all the steps and gave us several options for the roof replacement. All the work crews were neat and professional. At the end of every work day our property was cleaned and inspected. Work was performed to the contract and very pleasant finish. Any unexpected damage below the roof surface was shown and explained and properly repaired. Although I hope to never replace the roof again I would certainly use Garabar and recommend them to anyone needing a roof repair or replacement.

Garabar provided not just the highest quality product, but went above and beyond when it came to customer service. Great prices for great products! The entire process went smoothly and safely from the time of planning and getting a quote, to the actual installation of my new roof. Garabar's employees wore masks the whole time to ensure the safety of our home and family during this time of Covid-19 virus scare. They worked in a timely manner, and did a superb job at cleaning up. I'm very happy with my whole experience and felt truly valued as a customer. Had many leaks and needed a new roof. Decided on GARABAR to install a new roof. They started on time and had 10 men on my roof breaking up the old tiles and stripping the roof bare to the the plywood. They replaced any damaged plywood and facia board. They used large tarps on the ground protect my plantings and driveway. The cleaned up beautifully and removed the tarps. Next phase was to install the underlaying. Again, this was done professionally with no mess. Then they installed self-adhesive rubberized asphalt membrane to the roof. Next was the installation of the concrete tiles. Again this was installed very professionally. Then entire installation was done quickly and very cleanly. Kudos to GARABAR roofing and the installers working for them. Nat S.

We were referred to Garabar by a friend in our community, and I contacted Larry Z. to come take a look at our small roof leak. Larry came out, and then we were sent a proposal via email that the cost of the repair would not exceed a certain set amount. The technicians came out on the agreed upon day and time and spent about 9 hours repairing our roof leak. They were very thorough and professional, and when they were finished, I could not even tell that they had been there. They cleaned up everything, and the roof looked as good as new! When I received the invoice, I was pleasantly surprised that we had actually saved about $600. We paid the agreed upon amount (even though the normal repair would have been $600 more. Garabar was very professional in every way, and their technicians did great work!

Garabar by far is the best roofing company around. After vetting over ten roofers and not being satisfied with any of them, I put out a call to any neighbors who used a roofer they could recommend and that's how I found Garabar. I'm so glad I did, from my first meeting with *** I knew that they were professional, honest and took their jobs seriously. *** was with me all the way, he answered all my questions, walked me through the whole process, always responded to my phone calls or texts and did it all with a great sense of humor! Even the workers were great! They did their jobs and did it on time and professionally. They were always respectful to me and took extra care to make sure that my property was protected. Their attention to detail was perfect! I give them the highest rating I can, and have recommended them to some of my neighbors who are also very pleased with their work. They have set an example of how all contractors should be!

Garabar Roofing, performed a large repair on my Roof. It all started with a phone call to their Business Office. The person that answered was very cordial and attentive to my needs. A salesman called me within an hour and set the appointment up for the next day. The Salesperson was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all my questions without hesitation. The process was seamless from the coordination of the work to begin to the day their crew arrived at my home. The crew manager came with a mask and had booties for his boots to protect the interior of my home. The crew performed their work with expertise and were very clean and made sure when they did the rip-off, they did not let material fall to the ground, it was very controlled and organized. I was able to observe from my balcony and was very satisfied with the manner in which they performed each stage of the repair. I was very satisfied and would highly recommend this Company to my Family and Friends.

My experience with Garabar was exceptional in every way, from first contact to post-work follow-up. The inspection (by Tom) to determine the location and scope of a substantial roof leak was addressed in a timely and professional manner despite an attic packed tight with insulation which made inspection cumbersome. The "not to exceed" estimate was fair and detailed. The work was expertly performed by Adiel and James, who patiently addressed questions and kept me apprised of progress throughout the multi-day job. More importantly, they determined that the scope of damage was more extensive than originally estimated, thus preventing further damage. Despite the scope change, and with it the increase in cost of the repair, Garabar honored the "not to exceed" estimate and absorbed the cost overrun. Finally, communication from the office staff regarding work progress and request for feedback from me was ongoing and professional. Final billing was detailed and included numerous pictures of work-in-progess for my records. In this world of frequently disappointing contractor experiences, Garabar exceeded my expectations and will be my "go-to" for future work. Highly recommended. Â

One of the things I did before choosing a roofer was to look at the reviews with the ComplaintsBoard.com. I noticed the reviews for Garabar were really good and pretty much all of the customer complaints were resolved in a timely manner. I felt comfortable choosing Garabar for our roof replacement based on their many years experience in the roofing business and my numerous interactions with John P.. He provided me all the information I needed on the entire roofing process and did not pressure me in any way to choose Garabar. Definitely talk to John before choosing your roofer. I interviewed many other companies and none of them were as knowledgeable about their roofing process or as familiar with my roof and neighborhood. As far as price, they were average with all other quotes, not the lowest and not the highest. Also they pulled the permits for us which made that part of the process seem less! Once committed to Garabar and after signing the contract, the office staff was very professional during the entire process and kept us up to date with all the phases. Jessica kept my mind at ease with a calming attitude every time I spoke with her, and she always answered all of my questions. Our roof project was completed in a timely manner, even considering it was done over the Christmas holiday. We are very satisfied with our new barrel tile roof and happy that we chose Garabar.

I paid the final amount before the job was done and they said they would finish the remaining tasks. But those tasks are not just small things, they are things I specifically hired them for. They only installed two downspouts instead of three, and they promised to fix it if there were any issues. Well, now I have a problem because the gutter is too heavy for just one downspout on the garage side, and it's causing flooding. They also said they had to order the soffit, but I never heard back from them. I've sent them about 5 or 6 emails and never got a response. I didn't even get the proper closing package, just bits and pieces sent to me through email and mail. My neighbors got the right package with warranty certificates and all, and that's what I expected too.

See total Complaint Letter Attached (BBB_9.9.22). On 5/19/22, I entered into a contract with Garabar roofing to replace the shingle roof on my *** sq ft house for $12,750 (See Attachment 1 Contract). The salesman came to my house on 5/17/22 to prepare a quote and provide information about Garabar. He gave me a one-page document that had a section for unforeseen items as needed. I hired Garabar on 5/19/22, but the costs for unforeseen items as needed were changed. The work started on 7/12/2022 for the tear-off and dry-in phases. I paid all the amounts agreed upon in the contract. Then on 7/13/22, I got an invoice for $2,256.00 representing the unforeseen items (see Attachment 2 Invoice 16013U). The amount of new wood in the invoice was more than what was actually used. I was overcharged for 155 feet for T&G decking, 20 feet for roof trusses, and 38 feet of fascia. The Supervisor was not present for most of the work done by the subcontractors. I emailed and called various representatives at Garabar to discuss these issues. I also sent many pictures and asked for a company representative to come to my house. The only response I got was that someone will get back to me, but they haven't returned any calls or emails. No one has addressed my concerns despite my multiple attempts to resolve these issues. I have included pictures that you can call me if you need clarification. Resolution Requested: Billing Adjustment to Final Invoice with cost per foot recalculated on original invoice: 155 feet for T&G decking, 20 feet for roof trusses, 38 feet of fascia. Thank you.
