Working with American home buyers was the easiest process I could have imagined. From the initial visit to closing, each step was explained in detail, all my questions answered immediately, I would recommend them 100%. Also every employee I dealt with was extremely polite and nice.

Selling your home is sometimes a traumatic experience and so it was for me at a very low point in my life. Luckily for me I chose American Home Buyer. My family really appreciated all the hard work and patience that we received from AHB. We had a difficult time with getting a speedy sale because of the situation with my grandmother's diminished capacity, loss of my uncle as her executor, and then my mother picking up the gauntlet. After doing my due diligence on companies that buy homes in an "as is" condition, I chose American Home Buyer. From my first call to them all the way through the end of the process, all employees of American Home Buyer were polite, courteous, respectful, and answered my numerous questions without hesitation. Being the executor of a family estate, I did not know how to go about selling a property that needed NUMEROUS repairs. I feel American Home Buyers was easy to talk to and easy to work with. I would definitely use American Home Buyers again if I needed to.

Our house needed some repairs especially the rotten wood siding, and we did not want to spend the money to make the house ready for sell and the time associated with waiting for a buyer to purchase the house as is. We had a real estate agent and contacted several home buyers to see what the market value would be. We liked everyone we dealt with at American Home Buyers as they were honest, straightforward, not hard sell, and gave us a fair price. The whole process was very quick, easy, and hassle free. We also liked working with Declaration Title as they were very helpful in completing the sell. We highly recommend American Home Buyers to anyone who wants to sell quickly and eliminate a lot of the hassles associated with using the conventional route of selling your house.

Thinking of buying a home that was flipped by AHB? DON'T DO IT. We had problems just 2-3 days after moving in (could not use master bathroom toilet, guest shower leaked through the access point in the wall, and no AC). Problems continue to arise almost 4 years later. We've had plumbing (AHB admitted their plumber was not bonded or insured), AC, mold, flooring, and electric issues. A neighbor whose home was also flipped by AHB has had many of the same problems. I've spoken to the owner of AHB who basically told me it was too bad because I signed the dotted line. I don't need/want to hear back from this slimy company. I just want to prevent others from purchasing a home that was flipped by them. Do your research and hire your own (qualified, experienced, professional, and insured) contractors to do the work.
