Hands down the best decision we could have made. We were in the market to refinance and have been doing so directly with Quicken for the last 10 years. When we started the process with Quicken (for those of you who've done this) it triggers an avalanche of calls from mortgage brokers everywhere promising a better deal. I normally ignore other options and have always stuck with what I know. When I spoke to John from Agave he was very knowledgeable and really seemed to know what he was doing. I took a chance and went ahead and moved forward with John and his team, and all went better than promised. I couldn't believe, not only the level of service we had through the entire process, but how quickly everything closed. I highly recommend John and his team to anyone in the market to either buy or refinance!

I can't say enough good things about Agave Home Loans. This is our second home purchase and our experience was night and day compared to our first purchase. We loved the personal attention that the whole Agave team gave us. We were expecting several headaches along the way since we were selling our home through Zillow and buying our new home through Open Door at the same time. On top of that the sellers requested a quick closing. In this crazy market we were scared that something was going to cause a delay and that we would miss out on our home. Agave made sure that didn't happen by coordinating with all parties involved and making sure we got the keys to our new home in record time. I was already in the process of pursuing a refi on my home when I was referred to Agave Home Loans by a friend. I had already been pre-qualified by two different companies with a rate that I was comfortable with. However, once I got in contact with the team at Agave I was blown away by the rate that they were able to provide. Not only that, one might expect a huge reduction in the quality of service when the company is able to provide a much lower cost. That was not at all the case with Agave. The level of service was incredible. They were extremely responsive to any and all requests I had. They were very knowledgeable and were able to answer all of my questions. Additionally, my situation was far more complex than a typical refi and they were unbelievably patient and understanding, helping me through the different challenges along the way. I can't recommend them enough.

As a real estate agent, I work with a lot of lenders and loan officers. Some are great but most are people that you just want to get the transaction over with and never talk to them again.
