My solar system started goin down in June . I had one panel workin as of Dec. 2021. I first called the people who left me their business card and got no where. The company on the business card was different than on the work permit. So I drove to it to make sure it was still in business. In Nov a lady out and reset my system, which I had done. Since then no-one has come out to look at my system. All I want is it workin again.

I signed a contract on 01/26/22 for solar panels, fence, water filter, and an in-ground pool with David R. As of today, the only thing I have installed are the solar panels. They delivered the filter, and it's just sitting in my garage. The communication to keep me updated is terrible. I get that it can take some time, but why don't the contractors communicate with me? I have to keep calling and texting, and nobody seems to know anything. I really need to know the status of my contract because the bank already paid Affordable Energy Center $100,000...!

I got solar panels from Affordable Energy Center, LLC in March , but they haven't been generating any energy. I've been complaining about it, but the company's response hasn't been satisfactory. My electric bills haven't shown any reduction despite having the solar system. Just this week (Feb 2021), they came and told me that I need a new AC unit. Interestingly, I noticed on their website that they specialize in HVAC systems too. The CEO, ***, does reply to my emails, but he never directly addresses my concerns or questions. I financed this system for $38k, hoping it would significantly reduce my electric bill. However, my bill is still around XXX-XXX per month. According to the CEO, it seems like only one other person and I are experiencing these issues.

In March 2022, a saleswoman named Taylor from Affordable Energy Center visited my house to sell me solar panels. She informed me that my monthly bill would be $92, including $79.35 for Affordable Energy and $12 for Duke Energy. However, since installing the solar panels, my bills have increased to over $140 per month. There are no savings at all; it feels like I'm only paying Duke Energy. Surprisingly, my bills for June and July , before the solar panels, were the same as they are now.

I contacted a person named Dave, who did not provide a last name. I explained the situation to him, and he mentioned that if I needed additional panels, I would have to pay for them. This contradicted what Taylor Butman had told me. She assured me that any extra panels would be provided free of charge until the issue was resolved, and that I would be using solar energy at night. However, it turns out that Duke Energy supplies power at night. If I had known this, I would have never gone through with the installation.

To make matters worse, I discovered that my name was forged on the contract. Now, I have requested that Affordable Energy remove their panels, restore my roof to its original state, and repair any damage to my home. It's disheartening to think about how corrupt people can be and what happened to honesty. I also sent an email to Taylor, Joseph, and the senior Vs crime department in Citrus County, explaining what has happened to me and my wife.

I attempted to call Joseph, but his phone is not accepting messages. Dave, too, has not responded despite multiple attempts to reach him. As a result, I have stopped making payments to Mosaic, and I hope that the ComplaintsBoard.com (ComplaintsBoard.com) will take action against businesses like Affordable Energy Center to prevent other senior citizens from falling victim to scams like I did. It's been difficult to sleep at night, knowing what has transpired.
