Aerotek Non responsive employers

The recruiters that are responsible for your employment are completely non responsive. The staff does not answer the phone if you have any issues, inquires or concerns about your employment and they do not call back even if you leave a professional message. The office does not accept visits either so if you are employed with Aerotek and need assistance, the staff is absolutely unreachable. This is very unprofessional.

Desired outcome: More responsive recruiters. A better system for getting in reach with the agency.

Aerotek Employee inappropriateness

Marvin Castillo, an employee of your company, has been seen making inappropriate sexual remarks to a 9 year old child on social media. If you wish to have proof of this claim I have several video recordings from other social media members who have posted said videos exposing his inappropriate behavior. This is completely inexcusable and absolutely unacceptable and I truly hope you take the appropriate actions.

Desired outcome: Employee terminated

Aerotek Manager is not professional.

Aerotek Management

June 1st 2023

Had received a call from the manager so he could express his feelings about me not emailing his coworkers “on time”.

Life happens I can understand that but his idea of a “get you back” is he doesn’t respond to the recent email I sent after he expressed his feelings and what will not work for me. I apologize for the inconvenience but all I got in response over the phone was “mhmm”.

I’ve followed through with an interview from them beforehand and turned the job down. I didn’t see myself as a good fit and I told Aerotek that but the manager made it seem like I’m just messing around with their emotions.

During the phone call with the manager after he expressed his disappointment we came up with an idea of making a list of jobs that interest me then send him a email. Which brings us to now, not responding and I know it’s out of spite. I wish I had a recording because it sounded like he is a bit too young or personal when it comes down to doing his job.

P.s The other employees at that location were pretty helpful and nice but I can’t help but to think they encouraged in some way to influence this kid frustration.

Desired outcome: Retraining. Teach him common sense in social skills. Paid therapy maybe. He made it personal and sounded uninterested to help. Hire adults.

Aerotek Aerotek

Aerotek was informed my last day would be over aweek in advance. They chose not to direct deposite as they have done for the last 4 months. I informed them I did not recieve my direct deposite. I was informed I was cancled out of there system. That they would mail a check out the next Friday.it would take a week or more to recieve it after it's mailed. That makes it 2-3 weeks late. This error on there part puts me in a financial bind and will cause multiple late fee's.i asked them to over night my pay since it's there fault fir this delay. They just stopped replying and now are ignoring me.

Desired outcome: Over night my pay check since you chose not to make the agreed upon direct deposite

Aerotek No Pay

Yes I have been working with aerotek for about 3 weeks now and I haven't received none of my money I worked for. Every time I called they tell me that my payroll specialist is out. I keep getting the run around from other specialists and my recruiter. They blamed it on holidays and said that their under staffed. I wasn't abled to spend Christmas with my family out of state because I didn't get paid. New Years is tomorrow and I still haven't gotten paid so that another holiday that I cannot visit my family. Also, my grandma died Tuesday and I'm not able to be with my family.

Desired outcome: I want them to give me my money I worked for and I will like to speak with someone from the corporate office.

Aerotek No paycheck on payday

I started working for a company thru Aerotek beginning in late June. Throughout almost entire time my base pay was changed weekly and I was shorted on my pay. Brought this to the attention of my recruiter and told me he would fix it and get back to me. That was 2 months ago and nothing was ever fixed nor did I get compensation for owed labor wages. If I didn't notice the problem on my stubs I wouldn't have been made aware that almost $200 was being held cause of a clerical mistake. Now I haven't been paid my weekly salary on the deposit date which is every Wednesday. It is now Friday and I'm sure I won't see my check before the weekend. How can that be when direct deposit is set up right? My local manager said she was working on it and that was late Wednesday. I've heard nothing back and can't get a return call from even Aeroteks HR department at their corporate headquarters. I'm very frustrated and feel like I'm being taken advantage of. I've done my part by being a good worker and next week will be hired on full-time through the company I was assigned too. I never needed anything from Aerotek or vise versa the past 4 months cause really they just send my check but somehow can't even get that right or don't pay at all. I will never refer a friend or company to ever use Aerotek for their staffing agency. Just unheard and completely ridiculous that I even had to go this far.

Desired outcome: Pay me the money owed and my weekly pay

Aerotek Recruiter

Aerotek in Portland, Oregon found me a job. I worked one shift and realized it was not something I wanted to do, the job was too complex for me. I emailed the recruiter and let him know that I did not want the assignment. He called me back with a co-worker of his that was more familiar with the client and they tried to beg me to go back for a 2nd night, I refused. I emailed them the next day to further explain myself and I have yet to get a response. Matt Grothe is the recruiter I was dealing with. When the process started and he told me who my contact was at the company he got the guys name wrong he told me to meet with a guy named Kevin Tatter, through my own research I found out that the guys name is actually Kevin Tadder. One mistake, no big deal, but when I asked Matt to please send an employment confirmation letter to my housing authority he got my name wrong on the letter, instead of my name Donald Zimmerman he put Gerald Zimmerman. The fact that he is refusing to communicate with me now is very unprofessional and childish. I would not recommend doing business with someone so incompetent and unprofessional. I did not walk off the job, I completed my shift and treated their client with respect. Isn't it better that someone says right away that the job is not a good fit rather then let the company train you further and waste more of their time. It just goes to show that Aerotek or at least this recruiter cares the world for the client but does not value the employee what so ever.

Desired outcome: I want to get paid for the one day of work and would like to speak with Mr Grothe's boss.

Aerotek Lack of professionalism

I was seeking employment for a warehouse in Frankfort Indiana through Aerotek. I was told on two separate occasions by a gentleman whose first name is Landis that all the information needed would be emailed to me. I never received an email and then received a text asking if he had sent it. I have declined to work for a company who's employees don't do their job correctly.

Aerotek I have not received my w-2 yet.

I worked for Areotek into December. In January 2020 I emailed them. I was told that my W-2 will be postmarked and mailed on 01/31/20. On the 7th of February I contacted them again. I was told by Tina Wheeler, a Representative of Areotek that they do not control the US Mail so this is not their problem. I just received todays mail and I have yet gotten my tax documantation from them.

Aerotek unprofessional, rude.

Out of desperation I reached out to Aerotek for help in finding a job. Recruiter seemed nice at first, but turned out to be pushy. Did not respect my wishes to not be contacted while I was out of the country for a week (called, emailed, and texted me while away). When I got back to him and let him know I'd accepted another job offer as it was more along the lines of what I was looking for (easier commute, better pay, and full-time employment - no staffing agency to go through), he was quite rude in his response, and had the audacity to tell me I should've let him know earlier as it would've affected the process. They do not care about their candidates, only looking to plug people into whatever job they can find. Of course now doing my research on this agency, I won't ever go back to them.

Aerotek recruitment

I applied for a position with Aerotek on sunday, September 29.proceeded to go through their recruiting process over the next 3 days. Was informed at 10:30am on October 2 I was being recruited for said position and just had to wait to hear back from manager Kyle Henry who wanted to speak with me about hours and position details and hourly pay. Kyle then proceeds to ask me if I required any time off in the next 3 months and I mentioned that I MIGHT need october 8 and 15 off for a court issue for my minor child whom was a victim of sexual assault. Once I told him this information he proceeded to tell me he needed to speak with the recruiter that had already told me I had the position and he would call me back before the end of the business day. I never received a call back. I then emailed the recruiter I was previously working with and he then told me that the company I was hired for was no longer hiring. I then went on Indeed.com and saw that an hour after bring given this information a new employment position for same position i was hired for was be advertised again. I never did hear back from the MANAGER Kyle Henry again. I feel this was completely unprofessional. I also turned down another job interview for today because I was told I was hired. I have included the new advertisement that is currently advertised on Indeed as well as the emails between myself and the recruiter (including the one that says I got the job). I'm not upset that I didnt get the job as I understand how companies work. I am upset about how everything was haulted after I mentioned my minor childs court case. And also the manager stating he would personally call me back and NEVER DID!

Aerotek unethical behaviour

Before working with Areotek I had a job of 5 years driving buses. I wanted to make a change due to a client that threatened my life and also being mistreated by dispatch etc... I met with a few guys by the names of Kenny and Tomas (recruiters) at the Shoreview Minnesota location (4000 Lexington Ave N #200, Shoreview, MN 55126). They said they would help me find a job etc... Tomas was very unprofessional! He called me at least 10 times a day for a week strait, giving me little information on job leads each phone call when he could of gathered all the information and made one phone call. After that, he set me up with a job interview with a company in Minneapolis. I got the job and he wanted me to start right away. I told him I had to give my job a 2 week notice and he told me the company that hired me wanted me to start right away. So I told him I told my boss a while back that I would be looking for another job and be leaving soon and I asked my current boss if it was okay to give a one week notice instead of a two week notice because the new job wanted me to start right away. He was fine with that. So, I start the new job through Areotek on 8/19/19. I worked about a week and came to the conclusion that it wasn't the job for me. The work place was very hot, I also found out through the company that the building has Asbestos. Even though they said they test the air every week I still didn't feel comfortable working in that type of environment. I wrote Tomas (recruiter) a email on Sunday nite after talking it over with my husband and told him I will not be going back to that job assignment. Tomas calls me Monday morning, I tell him what I thought and he said he had another job for me that I might like etc... and that he would call me back. He never called me back that day. I wrote his manager (Rachel Klick) a email telling her what happen and she writes back that she discussed the situation with Tomas and he would be calling me to be more clear. Tomas calls me back going off saying, I was in the wrong for emailing him Sunday nite saying I wasn't going back to that job and bashing me for not giving my last employer a 2 week notice in the first place and going on and on saying I should have called his cell phone and at that time I had no idea the number he was calling me from was a cell phone. He was making me feel like crap and that I was the bad guy. It sounded like he was a little mad that I contacted his manager about the situation. I asked him, are you done working with me and he says no. To make a long story short he says he will call me tomorrow which was Tuesday 8/27/19 to discuss more job leads. He calls me and tells me he will call me back because his mom was calling his cell phone?! (not professional at all) Then he calls back and tells me about 3 jobs. I accept 1 of the job offers. He says, I will have my manager contact the employer and see when you can start and that he would call me back in a hour. He never called back. He sends me a email at the end of he day stating that they don't have any current openings and that he would call me tomorrow with some more job leads. Never heard back from him. At this point I feel like Tomas was very unprofessional with me since day 1. I have decided not to deal with Tomas anymore. I told the manager that I didn't think Tomas was the right recruiter for me and I was stuck with him anyway. I feel like I was disrespected and I wanted to address this issue with someone other than his manager since I already reached out to her. You can reach me back at [protected]@gmail.com Thank you for your time. Leah!

Aerotek job search

I "like" how they tell you to not look for jobs outside of Aerotek's network - unless you run it through them first. Then you waste time meeting with them, go through all the motions.

Set-up an account on their website, but then can't log in - nor change the password, so that your most updated resume can be posted there. Still cannot post the resume - And then what happens? NOTHING!

The do nothing company!

Aerotek unethical and unprofessional behavior

I hope someone gets to read my story as it has been very difficult and frustrating situation Ive had to endure while trying to find a job with Aerotek. I have been working with recruiter named Jacob Castor from the Orlando Fl office i had applied for the position of medical billing and customer service with their client Alere. completed my interview, background checks, and drug test. The day after I completed my drug test, I received a call from Mr Castor telling me that my drug test hadn't arrived yet so I immediately forwarded a copy of my urinalysis completed form to him to show proof, apparently some issue with the labs internet caused the delay. Jacob then said that it would be resolved and I needed to do nothing else. During this time I had been receiving unemployment benefits from my previous employer and continued to look for other work in the mean time. Towards the end of November 18' I was informed by my recruiter that I would have a start date of December 5. At this point I declined all prospective employers as I was promised by my recruiter that I had a start date. I also received a letter from the unemployment office that my benefits had been suspended due to Aerotek showing me as being employed by them. So fast forward to December 1st and I don't get a call from Mr. Castor. I waited an extra day and eventually called him myself to find out my work status. Mr Castor then tells me that the client, Alere hasn't reached out and he didn't know when I would start. I explained to him how much this would affect me as I'm no longer getting my unemployment benefits check to support my family while I waited for this empty promise of a start date. Mr Castor also informed me that i needed to confirm employment dates for a previous job I had so i personally drove 1 hour away from home to the IRS office to pickup a wage and income transcript to complete my background check. So it's now the end of December and Aerotek has yet to give me a start date and I'm still not receiving my unemployment benefits because Aerotek still has me and an employee and will not contact the unemployment office to make the correction. I've asked him and the recruiting manager (Jeannette Williams) to please help accommodate me with Alere or help find me another job but till this day I'm still waiting. This experience has been extremely exhausting and has put a big strain in my life financially. I'm at a point now that I may lose my car and unable to pay for bare necessities because of Aerotek's inability to do their job. I don't know if this message will get to the right person or if anything will be done for that matter but I do hope someone does read this and see the pain and suffering this has caused me and my family.
