Advocate Construction is a crooked company. They will try to scam you if you aren’t careful. Their work is subpar at best, when they did the work on our house they claimed iit was completed on October 23, 2025, conveniently before the promised completion date in the contract of October 31, 2025, however, it was and still is not as of April 18, 2026 complete, the work they did was done with some damaged soffit and ridge vent, and shingles, that’s not completing work, that’s doing shotty work to hurry up and try to meet the date in the contract to say it’s done, seems odd that they had from March 2025 to October 2025 to finish and they squeezed in work 8 days before contract date, which by rushing resulted in damaged material installed and Advocate stating it was completed. Then they didn't even both to reach out to us to fix what they messed with a new SOW until now April 2026 and thereafter sent a mechanical lien. For one set of damages, we had 6 SOWs through this whole thing, the last of which they tried to say we owed more than we originally agreed, when I questioned this, I was ignored and then magically the number on my original contract. Had I not kept my paperwork or called them out on this they would have screwed us out of over $2K, not to mention to date the damaged material installed originally has not been fixed and then they had the audacity to send a Mechanics Lien to me. I don’t even have a final invoice, nor any indication that a lien was going to be sent to me. I have many emails/text/documents etc that negate what they are trying to say. I’m sure a lawyer, in which I will contact next week, will have a hay day with the information I have and what they are claiming. Homeowners, please BE AWARE of Advocate Construction, their entire team is a fraud, from sales to directors to workers. This company has no communication, no follow-through and terrible work. We also used their window division, big mistake, we ended up getting the windows half off because we were told nobody could do the metal braking around the brick on our windows properly, that was an understatement, it looked like a 2 year old did it, we hired an independent contractor who charged a whopping $400 to do it properly. Pathetic, a large company doesn’t have workers that don’t have the training to do the work and that was stated by an Advocate Employee. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this company at all costs and let your friends know. Below are just a few pictures of the mess they made.
