Southers Construction is a great company to work with. They got a real professional team and the work they do is top-notch.

Southers Construction Inc. didn't send enough people to fix my roof leak. I had to reschedule and chase them when they didn't call back. The second time they came, they didn't have all the equipment they needed. But they found the likely causes of the leak and scheduled the repair within a week. They didn't send a written quote as I asked, didn't confirm the appointment, and never showed up nor told me they weren't going to make it after I waited all day. Very unprofessional. I wouldn't use Souther for any construction work.

My experience with Southers Construction was amazing. My house needed repairs to the dormer's cedar shakes and some siding that was falling apart. They sent someone to give me a free consultation and the prices were fair. The job was finished quickly and without any stress. They listened to and addressed any concerns to avoid future issues. They did a great job and I have recommended them to neighbors, friends, and family!

2021 - No response from Southers Construction Incorporated regarding the follow-up emails and voicemail left. Despite the incorrect color of the shutters, the installation was completed and they look decent. However, the lack of communication and transparency from Southers Construction Incorporated regarding the additional cost for the correct color of shutters was disappointing. Overall, the project was completed but the experience with Southers Construction Incorporated was not satisfactory.

I got three doors from Southers Construction (SC) and it took them seven months to get them to me. One of the doors was the wrong size, style, and color. The other two doors were also the wrong inside color. SC said they would send painters to fix it, but they haven't come yet. The double door was installed poorly with no insulation in the jamb, the door jamb was twisted, and the trim boards were cut badly. There was no blocking between the jamb and framing. For the front door, SC said it would cost an extra $1500 for exterior trim, even though they included it in their proposal and we talked about it before ordering the doors. It's been seven weeks and the front door is still not finished. I asked SC to send an invoice for the two 1st floor doors and a credit for the double door, trim work, and painting.

that I made a mistake. The quality of work and customer service is subpar at best. I would not recommend Southers Construction to anyone looking for a reliable and professional contractor. Save yourself the headache and find someone else to do the job.

I hired Southers Construction to fix my roof and put up Hardy siding on my crib. They did the roof in July '21 and the siding after that. But, I'm still waiting for them to put up one shutter and fix the damage to my siding after one of their workers fell off the ladder. These guys are saying I owe them for 25 sheets of plywood they used to fix rot on my roof, but they left a stack of plywood in my yard to rot. They're saying I agreed to a change order with Tyler, the project manager, but I never got a change order. Lily says I still owe them, but their contract says changes need a written change order. Lily sent me an email with a picture of the change order, but she cut off the signatures. After lots of emails, the owner called me, but I don't trust them anymore. I want all contact to be through email. Lastly, they won't send me my warranty paperwork even though it's in the contract.

I asked for a quote from Southers Construction Incorporated for an addition to my home. A rep came out on 9/17 and we told them we needed a roof installed by the end of November. I sent them architectural drawings and followed up for 3 weeks. On 10/27, we received a quote and requested that the roof match our existing one. We signed the contract for $14,000 on the same day. On 11/4, we reached out to the company to confirm the service we agreed on. On 11/8, a project manager named Steve assured us that the roof would be installed at the end of the month. However, on 11/24, the contractor said they couldn't get the material for 6-8 weeks. On 11/26, I texted them that we were "open" to using a different metal for our roof and requested to speak to management. On 12/07, my wife received an email stating an additional cost of $4200 for 300 sf of extra roofing. We requested to speak to management again. On 12/08, Noah and Casey called me and said they estimated 1,000 sqft but measured 1,300 sqft. They couldn't provide backup for their estimate and we were 2 weeks behind schedule. At 5:09pm, Noah sent an email to my wife with a VOID contract attached without any explanation. We now have water damage to our home and addition.

I, ***, paid 1/3 of the contract for a NEW Metal roof on 10/07. No work started & No C/B. I filed a hail damage claim on my property on 8/31. Souther's Construction employees visited and we signed a contract on 10/08 for a "New" Metal Roof Installation on a 1,590 sq.ft mobile home. The START DATE was 10/07, but no materials have been delivered and no work has started. Souther's Construction employees visited my property at least 6 times, negotiating with my insurance company and SFY. I requested to meet the owner, *** S's, but only dealt with Kevin H and Val G. Originally, the start date was 10/30, but was pushed back to 11/02 due to weather. They were supposed to start at 7 am, but no materials were delivered and no contractors showed up. I called and they said they would call back, but didn't. This is the second time they didn't return my call. Water is leaking into my home every time it rains and further damage is happening. They cashed my deposit, but very little communication has transpired. They need to start my roof this week or I want a full refund by 11/30. I found Souther's Construction on FaceBook and thought they had good reviews, but reconsidered after seeing a couple complaints.
