Adopt-a-Pet.com review: Not impressed

Found a dog in the size and temperament we assumed would get along with our 3 year old mix breed and 3 cats plus turtles and tortoises we have had for over thirty years. Submitted required paperwork assuming we would be scheduled for a meet & greet which makes perfect sense. We are on day four and have never heard back from the family fostering the pup we are interested in. No, we are considering your request or the pup has already been adopted or ? We have received about six emails from adopt-a-pet however trying to sell various services so ... legit?
