Talked with a sales guy the other day. Told him I'd like the free tools but not interested in 125 Sawzall blades only wanted 25. When I told him not interested in the deal, he said I'd change my mind when I received it. Shipped a 1330 dollar bill for Sawzall blades [censored] I don't need. And didn't want. No follow up an multiple requests to return. Bill total doesn't match total on bill if you add the prices they quote to final I assume it a 200 shipping charge but that is about the difference in hard prices and the bill total.

We were sent multiple types of blades "to try" from Ace Industrial. We called Ace Industrial on 3 separate occasions to obtain an RMA #, which they require, to send back all the blades due to the fact they aren't anything we could use. We were told we would get a return call from our sales rep which we never did. Now we are getting multiple calls every day saying we owe them for the blades and we are now not able to return them, even though they have never been opened. DO NOT try anything and or buy anything from this company, they are TERRIBLE to deal with!
Desired outcome: Provide us with an RMA # to return all of the unopened blades that were sent to us!
Spoofing is their M.O
I've sat in meeting where management talk about spoofing and how to teach the "green peas" new employees how to spoof.
The business model is to make the public and authorities think they run a wholesale business but the underlining business is 80% mark up on products that you can but at retail outlets affordably.
They have raped the Indian Reservations by over charging them during the pandemic on simple PPE items. Masks are 12.00 bucks each. Come on.

We have a business in Saskatchewan Canada. We are receiving up to five harassing phone calls a day and I mean every day from Ace Tools. Three years ago my son took a phone call from them and fell for their drill bit scam. He paid a lot of money for them along with a big freight bill. The bits are garbage. We will live with that, but we would like them to stop calling us. It appears that the more we refuse their products, the more they harass us. We've told them to take us off of their call list many times but to no avail. They are very rude and when we try to talk to them they just hang up on us. There are different ones that call, but a common one goes by the name Randy. They know we don't want to buy from them, but they won't stop calling us. There must be several employees hired to do this phoning because we can hear other callers in the background.

Today when "Nick" called - he claimed he was located in Winnipeg which is in Manitoba. I searched the number and he is TW telecom VoIP in Spring Hill, TN which is associated with Ace Tool.
Do not be fooled by these phone calls. As soon as you start to question them they hang up on you. But they will call back - sooner rather than later.

group of salespeople the calls keep coming, even sometimes the day after they have been told. Every one of them say they are the manager and it never gets remove, instead i think they quickly pass it to next S.O.B.

I was contacted by Ace Industrial Supply today and many days before this and tried to resolve the matter of our BILL and the people that were discussing this with me were very rude and nasty people I sure hope that people would look into this before purchasing their products in which the salesperson just walked up to my husband and wanted him to take this offer and he refused several times but they sent their product anyway and then immediately started calling for payment which was over $200 more than what the sales man had told him we wanted to send the tools back but no luck with cooperation from the company they just wanted to make us a better deal and then told them they could take $25 from a credit card in which they attempted to take $50 on the 9 th and another 249 3 days later and when it declined they called and started telling me to pay for my husband debt he owed to them and to just grab a card and pay it I refused and then the game was ON calling me nasty names and calling my phone 70 times within and hour and they are doing it again as I am typing this and I have informed them that I am contacting FTC and California State Atoorney General office this place is unbelievable and I hope that they will be shut down and fined and I refuse to pay for products from a company that employs people that speak like that to their customers. I will tell everyone who is or has had the same issue we have. I got the CA Attorney General and BBB involved and even filed a complaint with the Do Not Call Registry. I sent numerous certified return receipt requested letters to them so I could prove that they were not complying with my request to be taken off their "leads list" as the managers called it, even they are liars! I would suggest to everyone to contact the above mentioned entities and get them involved in your case. The more complaints they receive the bigger the fines Ace Industrial will incur, if you ask them to stop and they do not comply they are violating several laws, most of them federal! I too have been getting phone calls from Ace Industrial Supply after asking them many times to be taken off their list. I made the mistake of ordering from them, probaly 10 years ago. I didn't like the products and tried to return them. I finally agreed to take the product at a considerable discount. I kept taking their calls and telling them that I was not interested in their products. I finally ask to be removed from their list (about three years ago) and I'm still getting calls. I've even tried being rude to them to no avail. The call keep coming.

I keep receiving phone calls from this business even after asking them several times not to call me back. It seems to be a game for there telemarketers to call me back immeadiatley after hanging up the phone for the sole purpose of interupting and harasing me, and then they had a different salesman call ten minutes later! This all started about two years ago. After I ordered a few things from them, they started calling on a regular basis. Finally I told a salesman that I can not afford to do business with you because of the phone calls. I asked him to remove me from there list, he then blew up and started swearing at me. I hung up on him. He called back immeadiatley and was sreaming on the other end of the phone! After a while the calls stopped. Several months went by and now they are calling again!

I will tell everyone who is or has had the same issues with Ace Industrial that we have had. Disreputable sales practices/phone harrassment
After a number of years of occasional purchases from Ace Industrial Supply-Ace Tools Inc. telemarketers we began to receive rude, aggressive foul mouthed sales calls when screened by my wife.
In 07 I retired telling each salesman as they called to take me off their list. I tried unsuccessfully to reach customer service but you can't get through to any one.
I received a call late evening in July 09 saying I was 1 of 50 honored customers selected to receive a free milwaukee 7 1/4" worm drive saw. I expressed thanks but said I really didn't need it since I was no longer in business. After refusing my request I was told they would send a variety of saw blades I did not want or need but when they arrived if i didn't want them to just send them back but no matter what the saw was mine to keep. He gave me the good ol' boy "I'll even toss in a few playboy calendars and face shield." I finished with "I don't need the blades. If they come I'll send them back."
Two weeks later I received a delivery failure notice from UPS. After years of orders going to my shipping address they sent it to my P.O. box. Never wanting the order to begin with I told UPS to send it back. I got a call that night from "Randy, hey how ya doin' we need to get your package to you."
I insisted I didn't want it, just let it go back. He insisted it was mine anyway, and I could pay for the blades later. I told him I was financially strapped, retired, and couldn't use them. I still hadn't seen or heard the invoice price. He verified my shipping address insisted they were mine to keep or send back but they would be delivered. I insisted I would send them (the blades)back. He left his # and said any problems to let him know.
Upon arrival the invoice listed each item with a 0 unit/extended price, then showed a package price of $498.00.I sent the blades back immediately due to their stated policy of returning merchandise within 30 days of delivery. It cost me $18.00
Two weeks later while out of town attending a funeral, our phone began to ring 8-12 times per day from a "private caller"When it was answered by the house sitter he was harassed, and verbally abused without the caller identifying themselves or their company, only that it was a matter of a past due account.
Upon returning I found 2 past due invoices in the mail. I got on the phone and called the company trying various numbers till I got through to Customer Service. I was livid at this point after driving 18 hrs. from a funeral of one more ol' Marine gone. The rep "Doug" was pretty patient with this ol jar heads rantings about misleading sales practices, deceit, continued calls after insisting to be dropped from the customer list, rude sales calls, etc. Yet only after revealing my terminal health condition and succumbing to a PTSD rage did he agree to sned UPS to pick up the unwanted saw with them paying the shipping, and removing me from their customer base.
Fifteen minutes later I received a call from "Randy" explaining to me with a firm insistence that I had been sold a package deal. I continued to remind him at full enraged volume that I had never wanted any of it and it was all going back. He insisted that I was still libal for the charges because I had accepted delivery and said "Go ahead and send it." He left off the "I'll just send it back."
I've tried unsuccessfully all morning to get through to anyone at Ace Industrial Supply, but did receive a call from"John" in shipping wanting to confirm my shipping address so he could send the blades back. I made it clear that I had a saw, etc. to ship back to them and if UPS didn't arrive today I would be delivering the package personally to their offices. He said he would cancel the shipment and apologized for his companies treatment of an "honored customer". Assuring me that I could get customer service to help.
Just got a call from someone claiming to be the son of the owner "Richard" who claims I talked to his father about ordering sawz all blades and a bunch of other stuff and they wanted to send it out. I tried to explain that I had no recolection of this but was anxious to talk to his father to straighten out my problem with this order and their ### attitude. He called me a liar and hung up on me. From all the other postings these guys will continue till I personally deliver the package. What do I have to loose?
I have posted this grievance on every website possible, the Ca. attorney generals office, BBB, company president Tim Stearns, vice president Richard Benton, and customer service director Greg Anderson. They will know Marine Corp Creed.

I worked at this company, I didn't realize it was a scam when I worked there. I was given numbers and told to dial them and read a pitch, I was selling drill bits with a life time guarantee which really does sound like a good deal, one day I called this number and the guy said I already bought them, I had a few I sharpened, but honestly I need them replaced, I told my boss and I was in a bad financial situation or I would have never considered this kind of work my boss says specifically, It will come out of your pay check you sure you want to do this. After that it really started to bug me that they were defrauding people, but I couldn't quit I needed a pay check to pay my bills before I left next thing I remember, is one of the sales reps says specifically if it bothers you so much maybe this just isn't the right kind of Job for you. It really ate me up, I was not able to sell it was coming through on the phone, I was asked to come to the back in a room with my boss, he goes, I have your pay checks I need you to sign this paper I looked at this paper and I was shocked he was firing me, I was just to honest for this Job, I was told to sign or I would not be paid an obvious labor board violation, but I needed my checks or I was going to be on the street I was almost there already. This place needs to be shutdown.
I just received a package of multi tool blades from this ace company... who are they and why did they send me blades with a bill... i dont know them nor did i order anything from them...
I got a call to purchase some high tech drill bits and they sent me 2 sets. I checked the online price and I could of got the same sets for about 25% of what my bill was. I sent them back and told them I didn't like being scammed. They also had a no hassle return policy. When the package was delivered by Purolator they refused to accept it. I told Purolator to try one more time and if they refuse again I will get it sent back at my expense but have informed them I will not be paying the bill! I advise nobody to deal with them!
Ace is the worst. If you want to try and sell something, don't be rude! You want to call me, fine. But if I don't need anything at that time, yelling at me and slamming the phone down in my face is probably not going to get you a sale when I DO need something! Hello. I worked for this company for 5 years and was very successful in doing so. They are out of Burbank California and have branches throughout the u.s. they are not the only company doing this but their empire if you will is larger than most others. I was responsible for selling these tools primarily to Canada. The company pays its salesmen no hourly wage but between 25-30% commission only. The bottom line is this, don't order anything over the phone. Have you people never heard of the internet? Now I realize they just send you stuff sometimes you really did not order. Screw them. Keep it, burn it, sell it. There's really nothing they can do. The only one its hurting in the long run is the salesman who is gonna get a charge back for the merchandise cuz he just shipped out some wood. Live Free.
My company has been trying to get Ace to stop calling for over a year now. I have sent a Cease and Desist registered letter. I keep getting calls from them each getting ruder and ruder, three times they have given me the wrong # to call for the DNC list. The last guy was so rude when i told him we do not want or need his tools. I told him I had read all the reviews on the web and do not want to do business with ACE.. Gage Mitchell from Ace Industrial Supply called our office today. He asked for the president of the company and a gentleman who is no longer with our company. He asked for both by name. I told him that the president was out. I asked him what the call was regarding and he replied it was about an invoice. I asked what company he was with and he reluctantly told me Ace Industrial Supply. As I do all the accounting, I asked if I could help him. He said something smart-alecky like good for me doing all the accounting. He asked about getting an invoice paid and I asked him to fax a copy to me. It was hard to get information from him, talk about 20 questions. When I finally refused to give him contact information for the former employee or the president of the company, he said, "Oh Jesus Christ!" and hung up on me. I called the number back, the same man answered (he has a distinctive Southern accent). I asked if this was Ace and he said, "No, wrong number." I then called the main office in California and talked to a man called Doug Roberts. He assured me that he would look into the matter and this Gage Mitchell would be fired. I told him it didn't reflect well on Ace Industrial Supply if their employees spoke like that to people over the phone. I hope I never hear from them again, but if I do, I will be fully prepared to file complaints with the Attorney General of Texas and the Federal Trade Commission. Oh and by the by, we are an investment manager. We wouldn't need anything Ace is selling.

After cancelling an order of tools we didn't need, we continued to recieve calls 10-12 times daily trying to 'resell' to use. Thank God we didn't give them our CC#. I had to call letting them know I was filing complaints w/ the Better Business Bureau, CA Attorney General and posting complaints online before the calls stopped (at least for today). DO NOT BUY FROM ACE INDUSTRIAL SUPPY FROM BURBANK, CA.

Scam charges
I ordered some tools from a supply company and received a bill from Ace Tools which I never ordered from. They are billing for another companies merchandise and I have turned all the info to the California Attorney General and they are investigating this. It is against the law in California to bill for services not rendered.

Unauthorized charges
Phone salesman continue to call even though we have asked them not to, as we have found better prices elsewhere for our building supplies and tools. During one phone call, the salesman said he had some stuff lying around he needed to get rid of, and would like to send them free of charge, including shipping. Agreed to this and a box of miscellaneous items arrived, with an invoice of '$0.00' next to each item. The following month, a bill for $400 arrived for this box of 'free' stuff which they now say we owe.

Steve11629...I have yet to see a positive comment about this company on multiple sites. You must have a lot of customers if we are the 2%. How about providing me with a good phone number (THAT YOU WILL ACTUALLY ANSWER) so I can tell you about the products I received from your company privately.
..lol... the funniest lie about a company.. really have nothing else better to do then make up some appalling story.. 98% of our customers are happy the other 2% are like any other company have had a bad experience due to their own misunderstanding and they take it out on the company because they were in the wrong...
After being contacted repeatedly by Ace Industrial Supply, my boyfriend finally gave in and agreed to purchasing $200.00 worth of grinding blades. We received the package today. The box included the blades plus a brand new grinder, drop light, safety glasses, and drill bits. 2 minutes after the package arrived, my boyfriend recieved a text from an unknown number that read "Hahahahahaha". We looked up the area code, and sure enough, the text came from Ace Industrial Supply, located in Burbank, CA. We have not yet recieved the invoice for how much we owe, but after reading others' comments, I'm sure we won't only be charged for the blades, but also for everything we DIDN'T order!
Harassment
Make harassing calls, intimidating my husband to order their tools which we have no use for. When I tried to explain why we could't use the tools, Mr. Stearns swore at me and made rude threatening comments. Called repeatedly, we had to unplug our phone. Finally we contacted the State of Calif. Attorney Genreral's Office in order to stop the harassing calls.
I made the mistake of trusting these @$$holes a few years ago with a $3600.00 +- order for a roll around tool box loaded with Williams tools they claimed was the same as Snap-On tools. Well they are not ! And the "tool box" was a three drawer roll around service cart not a real tool box as described over the phone. Then the set was incomplete missing several pieces. I gave up trying to get the missing pieces after getting the run around for over two years. Each person that I called or called me only wanted to sell me more $#!T but assured me they would make the original order right. They never did ! Now I get calls from these POS sales people all the time. These sales people must have my name at the top of a list somewhere as much as they call me. And yes they are very rude !
I get about 5 calls from these clowns a week, I wouldn't buy water from them if i were stranded in the desert.
Ace called my cell and I was to busy to answer and my son put it on speaker phone. A sweet/flirty talking young lady was promoting some 200 piece tool set for 99.00 dollars. She says if anyone questions the 'special price' tell them I am the owners daughter and I can give that price. So my son thought it was a joke and said 'oh OK". Somehow they had my farm address and all my contact numbers. A box shows up a few days later and it has country of origin as somewhere in southeast Asia on the box. I saw the ace industrial on the label and I remember the cell call my son answered. I call the return number and tell them my son did that as joke and the smart [censored] said they record all calls and if my son said send it I have to pay for it. I do them one better I find a UPS truck and tell the driver to return the package and I refused delivery. That will cost them to pay return cost quite a few dollars. That is one way to get them back for all those stupid cold calls.
Tonight we got another phone call from them. The woman proceeded to tell my husband she loved him and would even get down on her knees for him this weekend. What a crackerJack company.
They call my house 15 times within a week I read the comments and i don't answer numbers i don't know specially international calls. they called today 2 times did not answer... but they are really starting to piss me off I turned off all phones .
One of my employees had been dealing with this company. One day he was approached by a sales representative saying their was a company that ordered 5000 dollars in tools. When ups went to deliver them their was nobody their and the tools went back to the ups warehouse. My employee asked if I was interested in them and at the time I didn't have any money to spare. They called and called for months. Saying they would let the tools go for half price. If we were interested I did agree after 3 months of them pestering us to look at the tools. They shipped the tools when they showed up at the shop with a 6500 dollar bill. At best their was 1200 in good sockets and air tools. Hell I will give them the benefit and say it was 1800 in sockets and air tools. The tool box was ###, half of the sockets you could purchase at harbor freight for 50 dollars. I quickly called said I would ship it all back, their like you cant do that then they sent out more tools tools I did not authorize to be shipped. This is a trap a scam and I never give them any authorization to ship the second shipment . After arguing with them over the bill they finally settled on a lessor amount. I told the sales person I wanted that in writing and emailed to me. I let them run my card for half at that time. They never sent me a receipt when they called for the other half I refused tell I had are agreement emailed to me. The said OK and they never sent the agreement. They ended up running my card few small payments without my permission. I cancelled my card. They called once again wanting to set up payment plans. I told them I had not received a receipt or a copy of are agreement. They called threatening me calling me names ###, piece of ###, threatening to have me thrown in jail. I have never encountered collection tactics like this. I would pay them if they would send me a receipt. The guy said it would show up on my debit card. IRS would like to see where that transaction was from and what it was for or where it was applied to. Just like I thought they never sent me anything on are agreement, and apparently what I owe them now is about 30% more than what was agreed on. When setting up an agreement to pay this I was not happy with my dealings with them. My intent was to pay my bill, and never do business with them again. But they are demanding more than what was agreed on, and their threats have to be illegal, would be classified as extortion. If you do go to court with them I wonder if they would play the tapes with the repeated NO NO NO NO. High pressure sales companies have been facing legal action all across the united states. This company is by far the worse that I have ever encountered.

Ace Industrial Supply is a scam. I found websites with the pictures and information about this scammer. After placing our phones in the Do Not Call List, they continue harassing us. They sent some crap and then started billing us continuously calling and harassing. We told them we did not order anything and if they wanted their crap they needed to send a return shipping label but they never did. After 30 days we simply threw their garbage on the dumpster. They continue harassing us even after we complained to the Federal Communication, Justice Department and FBI. The government does nothing to put these scammers in jail. Whatever you do, DO NOT SEND THEM MONEY AND DO NOT PAY FOR SHIPPING BACK THEIR STUFF, IF THEY SENT IT MAKE THEM PAY FOR IT.
After placing our numbers on the Do Not Call List several months because of their very shady business ethics, I continue to receive phone call solicitations. I have a device which records phone calls. I called their customer service to complain and told them the call was being recorded. After agreeing to continue the call, I stated my reason for calling and was asked for my phone number. I said that I did not want to go there right now and was told by their representative that I was "being very stupid" and that I should have a "man call" and that I should go "paint my toenails and have a man take care of business." He then hung up on me. I am so livid that I can barely type this comment. I run this business because my husband had a stroke. I have run three very successful business over my lifetime. I have NEVER been treated so rudely. Who is the one being "very stupid" in this situation?
Absolutely the most aggressive and rude telemarketers I've ever crossed paths with. Years have gone by and they don't relent. Its like dealing with 13 year old kids giggling and making prank calls. "take me off your list" "do not call me" ...means to them: "Call me in three hours"... I try to be polite and end it so they don't get their jollies but that doesn't matter. Nothing matters to them. It's just insane. I'll talk to a lawyer on monday and see if I can Fail a claim for productivity loss
Charged $400 for &free& items
For starters, we have asked their salesmen to stop calling our house because we have found better prices elsewhere on building supplies. They must be desperate for business because they continue to call. During one phone call, the salesman said he had a lot of odds 'n ends lying around he needed to get rid of, and he would like to send it to us just to get rid of it, paid shipping and no charges whatsoever. Told him fine. A box came with an assortment of items (extension cord, shop light, allen wrench set, etc.) along with an invoice with "$0.00" next to each item. The next month, a bill arrived for $400 for all our "free" items which they insist we owe.

It never ends with Ace. Everyone must make formal complaints! This company and its employees are out of control! I will file a complaint about them on every board I can find just as they spam our business phones cell phones and emails!
I will tell everyone, make sure you document all of your issues, contact the CA Attorney General and BBB about their business practices and then contact the Do Not Call Registry in regards to the calls, but make sure you have proof that you have asked them to stop calling you. The more documentation you have the better case you will have against them. Their business practices are all but despicable and they need to be stopped ASAP. I would file complaints immediately with all the above entities and get them involved so that if Ace Industrial continues with their calls you have a leg to stand on! Don't wait call TODAY.
The salesgirl called me, saying she had some free tools that she wanted to send to me at no charge. i agreed even though i had sent back saw blades that were junk. So the free tools arrived and i left them in the box.Sure enough a bill came for $ 479.00 package price & freight $76.75 plus $46.25 for stc what ever that is. Today i went to home depot & lowe's and priced the crap they sent, it came to $340.00. i then took the box of crap to ups returned it for $17.45.

I agree with you. I have repeatedly told Ace that I do not want their poor quality junk. If I need any tools, I can go to the parts store 2 miles down the road and get what I need immediately. If I have a problem with it, I can take it back and they will replace it or give me a refund.
Most of what Ace sells is high priced and very poor quality and may not even work the first time you try to use it!
