I received my Visa statement today and there is a charge for $44.85. I did NOT order this and I will not pay it. I was to be charged only for the shipping cost of $4.95 for a FREE sample of Acaipure. Today is 12/4/08 at 3:55 pm.
I have tried to call and am on HOLD for over an hour. This charge will not be accepted. What kind of scam are you into? I want a credit to my Visa and a confirmation of that credit by mail and I will not wait--I want that credit to my account now and the confirmation now. I simply will not put up with this. I see there are many in my shoes already complaining about a trial offer that I received for Acaipure pills. I ordered a free sample and gave my credit card for shipping. I figured that since they were using Oprah''s name it was a safe company. I can't get them to stop charging and sending me product. The phone number they give on the packing slip is [protected]. Doesn't work. Email address doesn't work either. How can I get them to stop charging on my credit card and sending me something I don' want? I have already been charged $44.90 on four occassions and the shipments seem to be coming closer and closer together. They are running up my credit card. HELP.

I supposedly ordered free trial samples of Acai Pure and Colon xR Cleanse, however, when I received the bottles I was charged immediately before the 15 day trial size expired. Also received a 2nd bottle of colon xR cleanse with an order date of 1/26/09, which is false. I haven't reordered anything since the original submission for the so-called trial size. The Acai Pure costs $88.62 and the Colon xR Cleanse costs $94.57, I have received 3 bottles of Acai Berry and 2 bottles of Colon Cleanse. Please help me get my money back and deter them from scamming anyone else out of their money. Unable to reach via telephone. Thank you

this company sent me items not ordered and over charged my credit card-I had only ordered free trial and pay $4.95 shipping and handling -charged 44.50 sent the unodered items back and filed a dispute with my credit card company and found out they have recharged my credit card for 39.50 last week. if you call the company to reach someone you get put on hold for hours and if you try their marketing update line you get the same thing and they do not return emails either - this is a ripe off and the should be banned from the internet

Watch out for this company. Does Oprah and Rachel Ray know what they they are putting their names on? First, I called to cancel my order, waited 83 minutes to talk to a "live" operator. They, they instructed me to e-mail their "support" service about this. I did and never got a return response. I did get charge the full price and when I disputed this, again via e-mail, I never received a response. I finally called again and waited 76 minutes for a "live" operator. Ryan ("customer service" agent) claimed I never followed my term and agreements, even though the original rep told me how to handle the situation. He proceded to tell me they did respond to my e-mails under a different company name. With all of the virus' out there, who opens e-mails by unknown addresses? I asked him to resend me the e-mails and he told me he couldn't. I asked him why and he hung up on me. Now, I am out my $39.95 and I am very upset. I even went to the stage of cancelling my credit card they billed it to and they are resending me a new one so the AWFUL company doesn't have access to my accounts. Oprah, shame on you and your wonder product.

I got emails daily about AcaiPure... the next product to help lose weight naturally da da da da da... Then I saw Oprahs show and her support of it and thought.. hmmmm 4.95 for a free trial.. why now. I got the bottle.. tried it.. felt no different.. definitely did not lose weight.. even with modified diet... and thought that was the end of it.. (I printed the order page for the free trial.. nothing looked shady although there wasn't any order number etc. I check my bank account and find a 39.95 charge from this company about 15 days later... I tried calling the company was put on hold for 90 min then cut off.. twice.. I went to the website they tell you for complaints and without an order number it will not go any further... I called the company listed in director assitance and it too was a answering machine and I have yet to hear back from them. I am on a fixed income and 39.95 is ALOT of money to waste. What more can I do.. how do I get the bank to not process this debit in the furture?

thanks

I, like many others I am finding out, signed up for a "free"30 day trial sample of Acaipure...only received 5 pills which if taken at the rate of 2 per day as bottle sugest would go only 2.5 days. I guess long enough to know if i were allergic or some...however I keep being charged $5.35 per month AND $73.52 which at first i didn't know what it was because the merchant is in Saint Kitts And Nevis according to my banking institution. I had to look it up on google: UK col. Carrubean Island.RIGHT! when I called the 888 number I was directed to www.gohelpnow.com...got no where...then did the address WITHOUT the www in the front and got a webpage with directions...asked if I wanted to cancel 1)newsletter or 2) Acaipure. I canceled Acaipure (of course). They said I would receive an e-mail to confirm then they asked if I wanted to cancel any other product and they would check for me...so i thought "lets see"...and then they asked me for my credit card so they could check...uh!no!...I canceled my card with my bank. Also they have a PO Box in Orem Utah which is Home to MonAvie, a genuine company...they also use CNN report of MonAvie in their Advertisement. _Beware: MonAvie IS NOT related to this scam and is a genuine company. I am even wondering if there really is ACai powder in these little pills...

I was suppose to get a free sample for just 4.95 shipping. Thay charged me 44.95 and added two products I did not order or want. I was charged a month later without my knowledge around 35.00 for an auto ship. I received no notification via E-mail and when I attempted to cancel. The phone wait was 63 minutes. I could not cancel online because I do not have an invoice number. I have not received the product they sent so I can't cancel without their invoice number. the product is useless and i wouldn't want it if it was free. Thanks, Nona Harman

I never received my product and was overcharged, I was to pay $4.95 for shipping but was charged $44.95. The phone number that is listed is bogus, when you call the number it says that because of the high volume of calls your wait time is 60 minutes or more, I waited in the queue for over an hour then my call somehow was disconnected, I've sent numerous emails, no response. I am so upset, I will never purchase this product no matter how good it may be... THIS IS A SCAM!

I called to cancel after receiving the first month after the free trial because I neglected to read the tiny print - my fault. They charged me 39.95. I accepted that and I was told they would cancel any further deliveries and charges. I just received my new statement and they took it out automatically again except this time they took out $44.90 and there was only 2 weeks between transactions. I have not received any new product either.
So what are we suppose to do? Let them keep taking money out of our accounts?

I have not ordered nor have I ever rec'd Acaipure ever. The first charge is being disputed by Discover Card for the amount of $39.95...A second charge now appears this month for $44.90 which I have never order or rec'd.
PLEASE credit my Discover Card account for both items as soon as possible. PLEASE STOP sending and charging for this product. I do not order or I donot receive anything from you. Today I have talked to Discover Card to be disputed for the second time. I do not have an account # or any invoices from you ever. bthr@comcast.net

I ordered a FREE trial of Acaipure, just pay the shipping and handling fee of $4.95. To my surprise when it arrived there were two other products in there that I did not order, and a charge or $44.85. I was pisssed. I went to send it back and get a refund, when I read the fine print look what you have to do to get a refund...All refunds subject to a 15% restocking fee, Returned merchandise requires a delivery confirmation from the shipping provider (means send it back registered mail) you have to get an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization number) by calling [protected], and STAYING ON HOLD FOR 45 MINUTES... and then call the 1-888 number again after 4 day's and they will talk to you and supposedly give you a credit... And refunds will not be made if you mark return to sender on the envelope and ship it back. I am thoroughly disgusted with this company, I WOULD NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN...

Same as others. Free trial turned out to be extra unordered products totaling $44. 85 and the next month automatic 39. 95. I put these charges in dispute with my credit company and sent items back posted with 'signature confirmation' receipt.
When i'm through the 'free' trial will have cost me at least $20. 00.

I ordered trial of acaipure for shipping of $2.95, hoodia gum for $9.95, and hoodia water for $29.95 and since I received this first order on Sept 4, I have been charged $44.85 for the months of Oct and Nov. Not only do I not have the items but I did not reorder any of the items. I want a refund for the two additional months that I was charged. I could not get a hold of anyone by phone after waiting hours. If you have any further questions, please call me at [protected]. Thanks Jamoya Jemison

Through a link on one of the book store emails (B&N or Borders?) there was an offer for a free sample of Acaipure with a shipping charge of only $4.95. This was promoted by Oprah Winfrey and I thought it was viable.
When I clicked on the link for availability of the free sample, the response was that it was available. I stupidly gave them my credit card and they are billing me every month for $44.95 for products I NEVER ORDERED! I've called my credit card company and will be calling the Attorney Genereal to stop these billings for this scam. Please help.

Placed order for trial product with agreement to pay shipment. Received bill for $41.85 and additional product. Called merchant to advise did not want extra items and will return. Merchant said would lower price to $20.00 if kept product. Agreed, but when next bill came, no credit appeared on bill and an additional charge of $39.95 was charged to credit card. Have made numerous calls to merchant and only get recording with ridiculous hold times (from 40 - 60 minutes). Merchant has virtually become unreachable and I am very dissatisfied. The product did not work and it is all a SCAM.

I have filed a complain with the Federal Trade comission.
After waiting 2 months for my refund that's suppose to be processing. I ask everyone who had delt with this company to also file a complaint. It doesn't take long at all.

I ordered the Acaipure/colon clense products. I got a refund from colon clense people but the Acai pure people keep saying my refund is processing and it's unknown how long it will take. Any normal person knows it doesn't take 2 months for a refund to process.

So I filed a complaint. Please do the same and get these people in trouble. Who knows there could be some class-action law suite and we just might actually get our refunds back.

Charge & Delivery of Acaipure was made on my Visa. I was out of the Country and returned to late to pay the Visa Charge on time. This resulted in a late charge of $29. Have notified my Visa not to accept future orders on my card. Will only place future orders when I need them and with a check inclosed for amount payable. Do not want my credit to reflect bad habits of late payments. Plus this is money wasted which I can't afford. Thank you.Order date: 10-24-2008 Order number:1390654

I ordered the trial package of Acaipure only. There was never any thing written about having to buy additioanl products. My checking account was charged 39.95 but I have not received any additional Acaipure. I have only tried one of the trial products there was nothing stated that I had to send the products back by a certain date, if so I would have sent it back the day after receiving it. These people should be stopped for taking advantage of us and not be allowed to make untrue stated and get away with it. I want my money back.

I took advantage of the free bottle for shipping & handling $4.95. Then I got a charge on Nov 8th on my credit card for $39.95 not even 30 days after receiving the bottle and then another charge on Nov 23 for $44.90. I have NEVER received another bottle since nor do I want any! When ever I try to call the message is my hold time will reange from 47 minutes to 87 minutes. Who has time for that?! I have gone back to the website & it doesn't have anything about future shipments or billings! This is totally WRONG! and needs to be fixed fast!

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY! I WAS SO DESPERATE TO LOOSE WEIGHT AND IT WAS STATED ON THE SITE THAT IT WAS ENDORSED BY OPRAH. HOW SURPRISED WOULD OPRAH BE TO LEARN HER NAME HAS BEEN USED TO SCAM PEOPLE ACROSS THE UNITED STATES! I JUST DONT UNDERSTAND HOW IN THE WORLD THEY HAVE BEEN ABLE TO CARRY ON THIS SCAM FOR SO LONG? ITS BEEN GOING ON AT LEAST SINCE AS FAR BACK AS SEPT. 11. THIS SHOULD HAVE ALREADY BEEEN INVESTIGATED AND THESE CRIMINALS SHOULD ALREADY BE BEHIND JAIL BARS~!THEY SEEM TO BE WORKING OUT OF ARIZONA. IF ANYONE KNOWS ANYTHING AT ALL THAT WE CAN ALL DO TO STOP THIS NIGHTMARE PLEASE LET EVERYONE KNOW. WE ALL DESERVE TO BE TREATED WITH HONESTY AND RESPECT! PLEASE CONTACT ME IF U KNOW ANYTHING WE ALL CAN BAN TOGETHER AND DO ABOUT THIS FRAUD AND DECEIT. HOW CAN THIS STILL BE GOING ON? I HAVE ASK THAT QUESTION OVER AND OVER AFTER SEEING HUNDREDS OF COMPLAINTS BEING FILED AGAINST THESE PEOPLE. I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO REACH THEM BY PHONE OR EMAIL SINCE I PLACED MY FREE TRIAL OFFER FOR 4.95 S&H ONLY, FOR ACAIPURE AND COLONCLEANSE. I GOT CHARGED ALSO 78.98 5 DAYS AFTER THAT FIRST CHARGE OF 4.95 AND I HAD NOT EVEN RECIEVED PRODUCT!I WILL PROBABLY NEVER GET MY MONEY BACK, AND IM NOT RICH. WITH THE SHAPE OF THE ECONOMY I NEED ALL THE MONEY THAT I EARN. I SURE CANT PUT IT TOWARD FRAUD LIKE THIS. ALSO EVERYONE BEWARE!IT IS NOT JUST THE ACAIPURE PRODUCT THAT PEOPLE ARE ORDERING AND BEING SCREWED OVER BY THIS COMPANY. I HAVE SEEEN POMCLEAR, TEETH WHITENING OF THE STARS, COLONPURE, COLONCLEANSE, GUM HOODIA WATER, ACAI POWDER 500 AND IM SURE THERE ARE MORE. SO DONT THINK THAT IT IS JUST THE ACAIPURE PRODUCT ONLY THAT YOU HAVE TO PLACE AN ORDER FOR IN ORDER TO GET SCAMMED. ANY OF THE PRODUCTS ABOVE AND PROBABLY SEVERAL MORE WILL GIVE YOU THE SAME FRAUD RESULTS. I HOPE EVERYONE OUT THERE GETS THEIR MONEY BACK AN JUSTICE PREVAILS! I went under the site from Oprah and ordered the free sample and was suppose to be charged $4.95 for the shipping, however; when I checked my checking account I was charged $44.85. I did receive a package, however; refused it and returned it to the post office since I didn't want to pay that much for something that I didn't agree to pay $44.85 for. That was in November and in Dec. I was charged again for the amount of $39.95. I have not seen any refunds back to my account. I have called the phone number several times and have been told that there would be a 32 or 46 minute wait, I did hold on the line for over an hour one time and never ever got to talk to anyone.
I am beginning to think that this is a scam.
I agree (DOES OPRAH KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON WITH THIS COMPANY)?
I know that she would be appauled if she knew this is happening.
I would appreciate hearing from anyone that knows how to get my money back.

BUYER BEWARE! SCAMMERS ARE GAINING ACCESS TO YOUR CREDIT CARD BY OFFERING A "RISK FREE TRIAL" OF THEIR PRODUCT BY SIMPLY PAYING THE SHIPPING. AFTER ENTERING YOUR CARD NUMBER, YOU ARE SHIPPED THE FREE PRODUCT.

MANY SITES LOOK LEGITIMATE AND CLAIM TO HAVE BEEN ENDORSED BY CELEBRITIES, SUCH AS OPRAH AND MAY EVEN HAVE FAKE TESTIMONIALS FROM PEOPLE CLAIMING TO HAVE USED THE PRODUCT.

LESS THAN 1 MONTH AFTER ORDERING ACAI PURE AND COLOTOX, I STARTED GETTING CHARGES ON MY CARD FROM MULTIPLE COMPANIES FOR RANDOM AMOUNTS. SUPPOSEDLY I AM BEING BILLED FOR A MEMBERSHIP, BUT I HAVE NEVER RECEIVED ANY MORE PRODUCT.

AFTER CALLING THEM, I AM PROMISED REFUNDS WHILE GETTING MORE CHARGES. I HAD TO FREEZE MY ACCOUNT AND HAVE NEW DEBIT CARDS ISSUED.

BEWARE OF THIS SCAM! DON'T ENTER YOUR CARD FOR ANYTHING THAT YOU ARE NOT SURE ABOUT ESPECIALLY IF IT IS NOT THROUGH A SECURE SERVER. I HAVE LOST OVER $500 FROM THESE SCAMS.

IF IT IS TRULY A "RISK FREE TRIAL" THEN YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE TO PAY FOR SHIPPING!

SOME TO AVOID:

COLOTOX, ACAI BERRY, BOWTROL, ACAI PURE, ACAI BURN, ACAI BERRY SUPREME, ACAI BERRY 500,

I ordered a "Free Trial Offer" fot the cost of $1.99 to cover shipping and handeling. My Credit card was charged $41.85 for additonal items the company "automatically sends." The phone number and address on the shipping order are bogus. I tried using their customer service via email and got nowhere. Now a month later I recieved another shipment of un-ordered products and again my credit card was charged $44.90.
How do I stop this cycle? What a mess!

By the sounds of other complaints I am not alone, but that is not comforting!

same story as the other people who made complaints: you are put on hold for 45- 90 minutes, then you are disconected. then given a
web address to e-mail your complaint. You'll recieve
an answer in 24-48 hrs. Never happened. Yet they continue to charge your card for 39.95--44.94, and you recieve nothing. I even refused the 1st shipment. Still I have no reimbursement, from all that was ordered it was a free sample with only a $4.95 shipping charge. Well the next step is to go to the Attorney General, I Will. Just found a class Action law suit going on, am joining that also. I promise to take this all the way! 20 20, dateline,
investigate fraud. Believe me i'll find every source available to me.

I am mad as hell because of acaipure ads on the internet because I fell right into their free trial $4.95. I paid that amount that I allowed them to charge for shipping although the shipping cost them $1.86 from Largo, Florida.
Their product made me sick. I took only 12 pills before I realized that it was no good & the nausea My God!
Since then my same card has been charged $39.95 on 12/1/08 and $44.90 on 12/16/08. WITHOUT MY APPROVAL. This is the biggest rip off that ever existed. I trusted it because it was endorsed by Oprah.
I have canceled my card since yesterday 1/6/09. I am also writing an affadavit of forgery against this company from paperwork being mailed to me by my credit card provider. I advise everyone else to do the same.
We need to stop these f-ing crooks. I am so mad that words can't describe me at the moment. Someone please write me back so I'll know this mail got out. Thank you, Martha

I ordered a trial sample from this company, received TWO bottles of pills, took three pills, packaged them up and returned them as they said to do within 30 days and am being charged $44.85 on my credit card. I am mad as heck. The price for the trial pack was supposed to be $4.95 which I expected to charged for and according to their advertisement I would be charged nothing more if I returned the amount of pills not taken but returned to them within the 30 day period. This is an out and out scam and these people should not get by with kind of thing. They are playing on the souls of those of us who want desparately want to lose weight and can't do it any other way. Ordered free sample, charged shipping only. Received another shipment of product, called to cancel future orders. My credit card has been charged every month since I cancelled which was in Ocober 2008, have not received any product. My credit card company has been pursuing this for me and I thought it was settkled. Today I received another credit card bill with charges for this product plus shipping. I attempted to call this company and was told that hold time would be 82 minutes before I could speak to a "customer dis-service person" These people are crooks of the worst kind.

I ordered a free sample of acaipure, I was supposed to be charged $4.99 for shipping and no more. I was subsequently charged $44.85, $88.97, $39.95 and then a further charge from fit-fac.com for $29.95. I tried contacting the company but the man was extremely rude and told me he couldn't care less! I had to contact my credit card co. who cancelled all the charges and then changed my credit card number to avoid further charges. This company should be shut down - they are a bunch of thieves and I hope this helps others avoid the same hassle and worry that I experienced

I ordered my "free" sample of Acaipure and paid the shipping charge of $1.95 and then I noticed a charge of $39.99. I tried to call the number that was on my charge card and the wait times were rediculous at 45-60 minute waits. I finally did have an hour to wait on hold and talked to someone who said that they would credit my card. However, my December statement shows another charge of $39.95 and I didn't even receive any product for this charge. If you don't want to be RIPPED OFF do not deal with the ads that say Opra and Rachael Ray approve of this diet supplement. Maybe Opra and Rachael had good luck but us little people are getting screwed!

I ordered a "free" sample online and was supposed to be charged shipping only fees for the product. Enclosed were two other items that were charged to my card without permission and now I have received another bottle with another charge of $44.90 which I did not order. What a scam. I tried their [protected] number only to be put on hold for over 75 minutes due to such heavy volume of calls (due to complaints like mine I'm sure). I want this stopped. All products are being returned unopened and should not be charged restocking fees since I did not order any other products, plus I want a full refund and reversal on all charges to my credit card. It is bad enough I have to pay shipping and handling to return their product.

I ordered a sample of the Acaipure and paid by credit card the $3.95 charge. Now I find an additional $29.95 charlte on 1/2/09 and then another charge by them for $39.95. I have tried and tried to call them and can never get anyone to answer the phone. I tried and tried to cancel this sample order. I have since then written a letter to a man who poses as the president of the company and have returned the product (sample) requesting nothing more is to be charged to my credit card and nothing is to be sent to me. I cannot get a response from them I sent the product back with a Delivery confirmation.

This company is nothing but a scam, Do NOT order from them. I may have to get an attorney involved to get my money back and to stop any further withdraws from my account. They are taking funds from two different sources at this time. BEWARE, this is nothing but a SCAM and I am reporting them.

My Name is J. DeLore and I live in North Carolina... Let this be a lesson to beware of every buying anything off line... and especially using your card on line...I'm contacting my bank tomorrow.

I ordered one bottle of Acaipure on 01/02/09 and paid for it by credit card. I then received a second bottle and I returned it on 01/26/09 stating that I only ordered one bottle and I asked for my Visa card be credited. Then in early February I again received a bottle of Acaipure and again I returned it requesting that my Visa card be credited. I just received my Visa statement and no credit for the two bottles were shown. I called their 888 number in Arizona and received no help whatsoever. I think that this company is a sham and I am in the process of filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau in Austin.

Saw an ad for free trial of Acai pills to help jumpstart on weightloss plan. Paid for the shipping of the "free product " which was $4.97. Before receiving trial product, my credit card was charged $89.95 for more of the product to be sent to my house on a monthly regular basis. This is not a "FREE TRIAL" none of the free trial ads for products on here are free just for shipping. You get all the unauthorized charges to your credit card for more of the product that you didnt order. Do not charge any of these free trial products to your cc or debit card. Buy a trial sample from your local drug store, its cheaper. You will end up disputing all the charges with your bank. These companies are hooked together with Brite white, smile bright, Acai product and others so beware!

I am among many who are getting ripped off with this scam.
I signed up for a free trial and was sent other items I did not authorize. I tried to contact but found the phone wait over 2 hours. I tried several times and was on hold over 1 1/2 hrs to be disconnected. I sent the merchandise back mid Nov 2008. I have had no communications from the firm.
This month I received again an unauthorized shipment of Acaipure. The return system is close to impossible to implement as you must get the RMA
number from Customer service which is almost impossible to reach. This time I have requested the number by email. I have also requested that the
membership into "lifestyle" be canceled. I was not aware of such membership. I have threatened to report this company to as many consumer advocacy groups as I can.

I ordered a sample then within two weeks I was charged $44.90 each for the Acaipure and Colotox. I did not order them. I called my Bank of America card and they said that if I did not get any customer service response and a refund in 30 days they would dispute the charge. I then called the customer service at Central Coast and it automatically says that you will have to wait 39 minutes (a scam so that people will hang up) I finally got through and the person on the end of the line said "I can't help you." She actually laughed at me! People were laughing in the background. I will be sending back the product but do not expect any service from reading all the other complaints. When I told the rep that I believe this was a scam she hung up on me. Unbelievable! Do not have anything to do with this company or these products. Go to your local drug store or reputable on line pharmacy.

I saw the on line ad to try Acaipure for 30 days free with a
shipping fee of 4.95. They charged me $44.85 when I found a number to call the answer machine said it was for the gum that is used with the Acaipure, two weeks later I was charged $39.95. I called the company and had to wait 44 minutes for a rep who told me if you don't return the unused portion in 14 days you are charged for it, and that another 30 day supply had been shipped, I said I wanted to return it so I waited for the second package to come so I could mail them all back and I sent a email asking for the return merchandise number, they never responded, a week later I called for a return merchandise authorization number, I waIted 22 minuted for a body to answer, I have received 33.95 refund they still owe me $84.80 and they do not answer e mails, this was suppost to be free. I have sent 3 emails and none of them have been asnwered
