I received my Visa statement today and there is a charge for $44.85. I did NOT order this and I will not pay it. I was to be charged only for the shipping cost of $4.95 for a FREE sample of Acaipure. Today is 12/4/08 at 3:55 pm.
I have tried to call and am on HOLD for over an hour. This charge will not be accepted. What kind of scam are you into? I want a credit to my Visa and a confirmation of that credit by mail and I will not wait--I want that credit to my account now and the confirmation now. I simply will not put up with this. I ordered the free sample of Acaipure on line that was free but had to pay for shipping that was $4.95. I decided not to try the product and tryed to return it. They would have me on hold for 45 min and i would give up. so i contacted them through email to cancle my so called "membership"and was told it was cancled. But they have sent me 3 more bottles and have taken $44.95 out of my account each time. causing my account to become overdrawn all 3 times, costing me 35.00 each time. Every time i try to contact them via email to get a return # so i can return the product i get no response. and also in the fine print they charge a 15% restocking fee. For something i did not order. So i am out $134.00 (product)+ $105.00 (overdrwan bank fees) Total=$239.00.
If anyone knows how i can get my money back please let me know. toganative@yahoo.com

I order the 4.95 free trail offer and then there is a 39.95 debit pending to come out of my credit card without my permission. I did not filed complain now I've been charged again and company sent me a product. Besides, there nothing about sides effects, which I feel now well. There no warning about how to use AcaiPure. Now I have two bottles which I unable to use. Once I had reach somebody on 1-888... number who hang up on me once I start to complained.

I too want to complain about ordering this product AcaiPure from centralcoastnutraceuticals. I canceled after reading how to cancel your order i also found complaints such as why am I still being charged after my order is canceled. I called the next day and canceled by trial order of 4.95. I was sent it anyway, and I returned it. I stayed on the phone for the THRITY MINUTE WAIT to talk to a rep. After I got a return order number, a cancelation confirmation number I thought it was over. I returned the trial order. A month later I'm charged 39.95! I received nothing! I make a complaint with my charge card company. Then another unknown charge shows for 29.95! I call and get the people who charged it on my card...under "education" turns out they said it was connected to the AcaiPure. I never authorized this and it is supposed to be canceled and again I got a cancelation number. THIS IS THE BIGGEST RIP OFF I'VE EVER SEEN! I have learned I'll never order off the internet again! Please if you have used this site please put your complaint in! Some way we need to stop these RIPOFFS!

RISK FREE my ***! You actually end up paying between $ 50 and up. I ended up paying 79.95 cents due to the fact that I ordered the colon cleanse, as recommended. They automatically charge your card/account (even after I canceled my account) if you don't ***RETURN THE OPEN PILLS WITH-IN THE 14-DAYS.***** But they did say in an email to me when i canceled ...

We currently have tens of 1000’s of people taking AcaiPure, ColoPure, and Hoodia Burst Gum and getting excellent results. Most customers stay in the program for at least 4 - 6 MONTHS. You should take AcaiPure, ColoPure, and Hoodia Burst Gum for at least 180 days to get your weight down to healthy levels.

How do the expect anyone to know, how/if these pills will work if you on have 14 day RISK FREE TRIAL ? DON'T ORDER THIS PRODUCT! Unless you have money to BLOW!

I was scammed just like the rest of you. I ordered the trial for AcaiPure at the end of December 2008 and received the shipment 2/11/09. I called on 2/16/09 to cancel my membership because I no longer thought I should be spending $40 a month on AcaiPure. Customer service told me that they would cancel any future orders and to return the trial package of AcaiPure to them once I received an RMA via email. As all of you can guess, I never received the email but I did get charged 39.95 for the trial bottle. Then the next month I received a 2nd bottle of AcaiPure and was charged 39.95. I called them again and was told the same thing as last time but they also told me to call their billing department to cancel future billing (and not very nicely either). I talked to Kevin and he said he would take me off billing. Did that happen? NO! Instead I received a 3rd bottle and was charged for that one at 44.90. This time when I called I had to leave a message but never received a call back. Fortunately I did not see another charge on my next statement nor receive any product. However, I cancelled my membership before the 30 days and I believe I an entitled to a full refund of $123.90. But no, they said it was my fault for not calling their customer service people and then their billing people.

I have tried to get my account credited back the money this company took. I have returned the Acaipure, the Hoodia water and the Colon cleanser to no avail. I have been given the run around with rude customer service from a supervisor. I am now filing a a complaint with our Consumer Affairs office here in Nashville, TN.
I have been getting the run around since the end of May. They are a scam and don't follow through on the promise. They took my money before the trial period and I hadn't used the product. I sent them the products like they asked. I hope to get my $100.

I ordered AcaiPure for $4.95 s/h, and I received the Acaipure, Hoodia Gum and Hoodia Water. I called the customer service office and was told that I had needed to uncheck the box for the Hoodia Gum and Hoodia Water on the website, if I had not wanted it. Okay, fine. My mistake. I said I no longer wished to received any products from them and told them to close my account. I've been billed twice more in the amount of $44.90 and have not received any products. Calling them has resulted in being told I have 59-minute wait time. I've gone to www.getorderhelp.com, as directed, and sent an email which as not been acknowledged. If you go to the Central Coast Neutriceutricals site, AcaiPure isn't even listed as a product they sponsor. I AM FURIOUS! I'm willing to eat the money for the first order, since there is indeed an "uncheck here" option, but to keep being billed after I called and canceled? There is another email address: support@centralcoastnutra.net, which is about to be spammed with my complaints. I am calling my bank on Monday to see what can be done to reverse the charges. DO NOT GET INVOLVED WITH THIS COMPANY THROUGH ANY OF ITS PRODUCTS!

I ordered the AcaiPure trial for 14 days. i cancelled the offer within a week of getting the pills. I called and spoke to one the reps. named Christina. I told her that i wanted to cancel my trial offer and she said k. I asked her if there was anything else I needed to do and she told me and that I would not be billed for anything else. That was in May. Now It's June and I looked at my bank acct, and there was a charge for $39.95 for acaipure. I called the number and the lady told me that even though I cancelled my order I was still going to be billed $ 39.95 and that She could only give me a $15.00 Credit back. So now I'm going to file a report with the BBB and get my money back. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO ORDER FROM THIS WEBSITE.

I was ripped of by the acaipure company. I order free trail and then cancel and recieved another order and was charged $44.90 on my debit card. So I call and they told me to send it back so I did. I did not open the order I sent back immediately and now I'm waiting on refund. I called them back and they said give it 3 days it's been more than 3 days still no refund. I think something need to be done about this it must be against the law to rip this many people off. I tell you its not fair they fight the war over seas they need to get this country together first. Crooks over here and ripping people off is not the way to run a business. Why is Oprah sponsoring this mess!

I ordered the free-trial promotion for both acaipure and colotox for the shipping cost only of $4.95 and $5.95 each and then much to my surprise was charged the following month for an auto-continuous
shipping of the products to the tune of $44.90 each. I called the company right away and asked them why I was charged and they said I should have read the fine print and was required to cancel the shipping if I did not want to be charged each month. I told them to cancel the shipping right away and I would send the product back.
They said they would not accept it and I would be charged anyway.
I again requested that they cease any further shipments. They said they would and I was again charged on my VISA for a 1/22/09 shipment after I had already cancelled. I would like the two $44.90
charges ($89.80) credited back to my accnt.

I ordered this product September 12th. The advertisement on their website said that I had to pay shipping handling only charges of $4.95. The charged me $44.85 and I haven't received the product yet. I have attempted to contact the company at their customer service email address and haven't received any response. I wish I would have seen these warnings prior to ordering. I am going to attempt to contact the company directly by phone but I'm afraid they do not list a phone number on their website.

Unauthorized charges from this company have been charged to my Visa account on 11/21/08 for $44.85 and 12/30/08 for $38.95. I did not authorized these charges. I only authorized the trial cost of $4.95. I have been trying to contact this company but wait times on the phone are outrageous and the recording said to go to www.getorderhelp.com and this website came up. I have called my credit card company and the charges are now in dispute. I am currently (once again) on hold to talk to them and cancel. This is unbelieveable. What can be done to stop them?

I ordered a free trial of Acaipure, for $4.95, shipping and handling on November 8th 2008. I never received the product. I sent e-mails stating this. I also, told them I do not want anymore shipments. They have charged my card, again for $39.95 on December 8th, 2008. I e-mailed them twice now to send me my money back or I am reporting them to the Attorney Generals office. I, also stated that they have the worse company, I have ever dealt with. I tried phoning twice, but the wait is 50 minutes. Real Convenient. I will be going to my bank Monday, the 15th of December and I will be filing fraud charges there, as well as contacting the Attorney General's office. I am tired of playing, around with this company. I am a very busy person.

I signed up for a free trial after (I thought) carefully reading to make sure there was no catch, such as there auto ship negative option. I was to pay $1.95 for the trial. End of story. I found a $39.95 charge on my bank statement after about 2 weeks. I called their number, and after a 54 minute wait time, was able to talk to a representative. After our discussion she told me that she would take $20.00 off the charge and cancel any further orders. I asked about returning the pills and receiving a full refund since that was supposedly what I would have had to have done to not be charged any further for them. She said they couldn't do that since they couldn't reuse the pills. I, then informed her that I would be reporting the company for fraudulent and misleading business practices.

AcaiPure was suppose to send a FREE TRIAL pay only Shipping & Handling. What a scam ! My credit card was charged $44.85.
Colopure was suppose to be free as well pay only S & H. Charged $44.85 to my account. I called phone number to return product and the person I talked with was very rude said it was not their mistake it was mine! And there would be a restocking fee. I will be calling my credit card company. Someone needs to check into this company before someone else falls prey .

On October 20th, I saw an Ad on the internet for Acai Pure - Dietary Supplement. It looks very good as Oprah even adverstised this on her show. The Ad was supposed to be a free trial bottle with about $1.95 or $4.95 shipping and handling is all that is what I am supposed to pay.

A few days later I saw my checking accounted debited for $44.95. I immediately called the [protected] phone listed on the debit entry on checking account. The Rep I talked to said the other charges was for the small bottle of water hoodia and hoodia gum which I was unaware and for a small gum and small water bottle, I was overly charged. The person offered me a $20 credit which I was not satisfied but went ahead anyway. But in short I was charged $24.95 still for that supposed to be 'free trial shipment".

Nov 10th I saw another charged from Acai Pure for $39.95. When I called the toll free number, I was told that was for the Acai pure pill/bottle that because I did not return I was charged. I asked, it said free trial bottle, if we were to try it, for I think 30 or 60th day, how can we know and this was never discussed during our conversation on October when I first complained, nor this gimmick was not very clear and it is obviously the intention of this company was to deceive and scam people so they could over charge naive people like us.

I will be filing a charge dispute with my bank soon, but I would like to also request a refund and hopefully I do not have to settle this with my bank and had to close my account and debit card for two weeks, which is very inconvenient. Please send this to the proper authority or people so this company will stop doing this to others.

please contact me at [protected] if you have any questions.
Thank you for your help.

This company toke 39.95 from my checking account and I would like it back. it has not even been 30 day trial yet and the took my money. this was not authorized and is against the law to take something unauthorized. I called the number and waited an hour on the phone and no one answered. the recording stated i had 57m and 3s and I waited 1h 6m amd 3s and no one answered. will be calling bank to put out fraud alert on them and stop this payment from going out.

I wish I would have checked this out before I ordered the trial offer. I have returned every bottle that I have received, but they refused to give my money back. Since Oct. they have dipped into my account and withdrawn over 300 dollars. If you call them they have a wait time of between 75 minutes and 2 hours. (How convenient for them!) Yesterday, I finally was able to talk to a customer service person, Paul was his name. He told me that they are scheduled to ship another order on the 27th and it is too late to cancel. So, when I receive it to call back and they will give me a # to return it. Told me that all the money they have already withdrawn will not be returned because I did not call them for a return # but just had it sent back and refused it! There should be a law against this. If anyone has any ideas, I would love to hear them as to what we can do to stop this scam! Sincerly, Gloria

I signed up for a free trial for the ACAIPURE diet supplements. The company advertised a non commitment trial offer. a month later I receive a package with more pills and a notice saying that I joined the "lifestyle" membership. But how can there be no information or button to click saying you are signing up for a "lifestyle" membership and yet I am still getting billed for it? They claim it is written in the disclaimer--and it probably was--but to offer a non-commitment membership and then force you to take one is ridiculous. Since I didn't have to click any special button that says I am signing up, I assumed that "free" trial meant just what is said, FREE. Please do something about this company and any others like them.

The real question is: HOW DO WE GET OUR MONEY BACK? AND< WHEN? I have called the phone number and get this "due to the popularity of our product, there is an extended waiting time of 40 minutes and 3 seconds." Yesterday, it was 24 minutes and 45 seconds. I'm going to assume that most of these calls are for a product we ordered called AcaiPure that was supposed to be free with only a $4.95 shipping and handling fee attached. That's what I thought I was getting. zi ended up with a charge of $44.95 plus the shipping fee. I called on that on 12/06/08 to get that off my charge card. I was told I had asked for the other product when the advertisement stated it was free as well. ALL ON A FREE TRIAL BASIS. At that time I told them to cancel anything that has to do with this product. They told me it was done. No, there was no confirmation number of anything since it was a free trial.

Yesterday, 1/8/2009, I received another charge of $44.95 plus $4.95 shipping and handling. For what? NOthing!

WHEN DOES IT STOP? A complaint to the Better Business Bureau? When?

I just became a widow in October 2008. One on a very fixed income. One with tons of bills because my husband, ion his illness, had done things I didn't know about. I'm up over my eyeballs in debt and this company is not helping me by putting this every month on my charge card. UNAUTHORIZED! This is not a free product. And with the amount of complaints, not a very good one. Kath ySteele

Purchased free trial size of Acaipure. Only $4.95 S&H. They billed my Credit Card $44.85 for extras, like diet gum and water. Not only did they charge me for that junk, but now today 1 month later they billed my CC for $39.95. Just got off the phone with the company they tell me its the remaining balance for my free trail. What they don't tell you is that it's 60 pills only 14 days are free. DO NOT fall for this. They don't even work. I threw them out before 14 days. SAVE YOUR MONEY!

I also ordered AcaiPure for a free trail and was sent additional items that I did not ordered. I received the GUM and the Water and I do not want these items at a total of $40.00. I will call my credit company to stop the payment and I will be sending back the products that I did not order. I will be keeping the CAPSULES because they are for a free trail. I can't believe that this company was on OPRAH and offered this product for free and then send me items that I did not order and to charge outrages prices for it. I received an e-mail solicitation from AcaiPure, using Oprey Winfrey's indorsement. The site said there would be a $1.95 shipping charge on the FREE trial. The next day I was billed $41.85. When I called AcaiPure, someone actually answered the phone. They said they sent me extra products by mistake.
I told the representative to cancel me from ALL connections with his company. Now, a few days ago, AcaiPure has charged me $39.95. I had to put a stop on my Visa card. I have notified my Attorney General's office of these crooks. Don't delay! Contact your state's Attorney General's office today! Also, if you know Oprey's (Agent's) e-mail address, let her know now! I ordered a risk free trial of acaipure and no where on the add did it say that you were going to be automatically enrolled or going to ship you out gum and some other stuff. I immediately returned everything. I was charged for the items returned and automatically billed again the followwing month. I was credited for $39.95 but not for the original charge that I never agreed to. This is a deceptive practice. I am demanding my account credited immediately.

I sent for free sample as recommended by Oprah (at least they used her picture). I received the AcaiPure PLUS two items I did not order (ordering the two items was checked, I had to uncheck them). I didn't see this. My account was charged $45. I finally got through by phone. They send it back and I'd be credited $39.95! I sent back the two items and my charge account was CHARGED the $39.95 and not credited. I couldn't reach them by phone and my email was returned. I paid $75 for this Free product. I sent an email to Oprah but no answer. I called the company today and their number is disconnected. I was Scammed. Norma

I sent for the sample size at $4.95 ( s&h ) INSTEAD I received other products I didn't order plus they debited my account for $44.85 that I in no way authorized ! I have tried to contact them thru the # given & web-site BUT you can't ever reach them so I went to my bank & placed a complaint against the co. & canceled my debit card, so they can't take anymore out of my account JUST BECASUE THEY DECIDE TO, I also sent an e-mail to Opra's web-site since she does back this product. I'm hoping her team let's her know exactly what this company is doing to hard working people who don't have the extra money to have just taken out of their bank accounts. in today's world it's all about greed.

I ordered the "Risk Free Trial Offer" of AcaiPure. I was shocked to have also received the Hoodiburst Gum and Hoodiawater for a grand total of $44.85. I phoned their customer service phone number and was told there would be a 18-minute hold. I phoned early this morning and there was already a 39 minute hold time - totally ridiculous! I am writing a letter to the president of the company and will seek legal action against them.
I plan on returning all the product including the free trial offer and will "eat" their charge of a 15% restocking fee.
I will never, never order anything from them again. I only wish I had read other people's complaints about them before I ordered.

I too was scammed by the acaipure company. As a single woman with a fixed income, I was hoping to find something that might help me feel better and be more healthy. I received a full month's supply and two products I did not order. $41.85 was deducted from my charge account. I returned the product and have received no financial return. I also had $39.95 deducted from my account on Dec 1 and have received nothing!
I am telling everybody I know not to order these product.

I ordered free trial, which they sent, along with gum $9.99 and tincture (29.99), enclosed also was a note saying you could not return any unopened item, so I tried to call many, many times, and no matter what time I called there was always a waiting time of at least 1 hour, "because their products are so popular" the recording says. It also suggests you go online and send an email, which is supposed to be responded to within 24-48 hrs, and I have not had a response to any of mine and I've been emailing over a month. Then went on BBB website and got some other numbers, while reading their BAD REVIEWs, also with no response. So, since I couldn;t get an RMA number. I just sent it back anyway and asked my credit card company to refuse to pay it. Then the day they received it, I got billed for another $39.95. There is no way to cancel this "DEAL" and no way to get through to anyone. I have not received anything for the order I was just billed for!? DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY! THIS IS A HUGE SCAM!

I was told that I would be charged $1.99 and i was charged $44.85. I have tried to send e-mails it comes back as not an existing e-mail address. I've called the company to try to cancel and ask why I have not received my order. I also asked why I was over charged. The rep couldn't answer any of my questions. The rep told me that there was delays in shipping that it hasn't been shipped out yet. He also told me that I would have to wait until I get the product and send it back and when they receive it I would get my money credited back. This company is a scam and I just want my money put back in my account ASAP. I told him at this point I don't even want to try the product because I was lied to about the charges. He just hung up on me. Not to mention I stayed on hold for 75 minutes. That's RIDICULOUS. WOW! what a nasty business... PLEASE respond to my e-mail or let me know what I can do about this. THANK YOU, Ruth Zamarron 11-20-2008

After trying to call this company four times since Oct 24th., and being put on hold for 20 or more minutes at a time. I gave up and called my credit card and filed a dispute.

On Oct 15, 2008 I was charged $41.85 on my credit card, which was only to be $1.95 for a trial size. I received a package in the mail on Oct.24, 2008 and I refused this package and sent it back to the Floria address. On Nov. 4, 2008 I was charged again for $39.95 . As of today Nov.14, 2008 I have not received this order, But when I do, I will refuse it.

I would like for all pass and future orders to be cancelled.

Thank You
Jean Day

I will send both bottle back to you and want you to to credit my account for 44.90 less the 4.95 shipping.. Hi, I have the same complaints as I have read posted
on the Complaints Board web site.
1) Overcharged: $44.85 should have been $4.85
For a trial of offer of Acaipure
2) My account was debited the following month even
after I had "returned to sender" and "refused" the
package.
I have spoken with my bank (Wells Fargo) they stated that they have had many, many, many customers whom they have had this same problem. The bank is working with me, however what a waste of my time not to mention that I now have $$ tied up till this is resolved.
I have written to Acaipure/Fullfillment Center of
Florida, the Better Business Bureau of Florida, and
the Oprah Show. I thought ordering this product
would not be a "problem" as it was on Oprah's web
site, once they become aware of this deplorable
business practice I am confident Acaipure will be
bumped from the Oprah site if they have not been
bumped already.
Good luck to all my fellow consumers whom have
experienced this unfortunate "scam".
Just remember, nothing will change unless we speak up, the truth will always set you free!

Cynthia

I was offered a free sample of Acaipure and accepted it on line, I received the sample, I have not even used it yet. I was sent a second bottle which I did not request and was charged on my debit card for it, returned the product, no credit yet, I just received a second charge in Dec. 4, 2008 for another product which I have not received. I want them to cancel my account and stop charging me for something I did not purchase or request.
