I signed up for the 30 day free trial for their reading program for my kids. Gave my card info. and was told I would be billed in 30 days unless I cancelled.
Immediately an ad popped up would I like the assessment tool as well? I clicked yes, thinking it was a trial and would be useful in seeing how my kids were doing with the program . After that immediately another ad pops up do you want to try the full ABC Mouse including math? I thought sure great! Clicked, yes, and then literally at least theee more ads came up, all at 30, 50, 60 percent off prices.
I suddenly became nervous thinking hmm are these also part of the trial?
Received no emails or receipts at all, but checked and saw that sure enough my card was billed for 100.00 in goods from ABC Mouse. The way they advertise is very predatory and most above the board businesses will mail you a receipt of sale. Very disappointed and I hope this company will be investigated.

Ugh, they ambushed you with pop-up upsells the second you signed up, that is not okay. First thing, call ABCmouse and cancel everything right now, get a cancellation confirmation number. Then email support demanding a full refund because you were never told those upsells were actual purchases and got no receipts. If they push back, dispute the $100 with your card issuer as unauthorized or misleading charges. Screenshot every upsell you saw before they change the flow. You are not wrong to feel tricked.
