Very professional! Got in and got the work done, turned out great! Also, Luke went above and beyond after finishing the chimney cleaning. While walking to his truck he smelled what he thought was natural gas by my carport. My hot water heater is out there. He called it to my attention and then used his gas detector to locate the leak. I then called plumbers who did find the leak, fixed it and actually found two more in my shop. We owe Luke and A-1 a debt of gratitude for probably saving our home!

This afternoon the guys from A1 Chimney Pro came and inspected my fireplace and chimney right on time as the appointment was set. While at my house they evaluated not only the condition of my fireplace and chimney they also answered my questions as to the feasibility of installing a wood burning insert. during this evaluation they checked several points that no one I had talked to about the insert had even mentioned. I was very please by the effort they put into answering my questions and evaluating my needs. This is the second time I have had A1 Chimney Pro come out and service my chimney and I will have them do so again in the future regardless of if we choose to to this project or not.

Justin Nicholson was the technician that cleaned our fireplace this year. He did an excellent job not a bit of dust anywhere in the room and the fireplace is so clean and he cleaned the glass too. He made a suggestion concerning the part on top that would save us hundreds of dollars in 5 years or so. My husband plans on doing that soon. Not only was he working on our fireplace, but he found one of my dog toys on the roof and threw it down for my dog. I would never have been able to retrieve it without his help. I have used A-1 for years and have been very happy with them. The office staff, Cheyanne and Matti are extremely helpful in scheduling when it is convenient for us. I do not have to worry about a chimney fire when they clean my fireplace. That is the reason I call them every year.

This company does not honor scheduled appointments & in my opinion that's untrustworthy and disrespectful. Also required to put 50% cost up front.

Justin was great! Very personable and professional. Explained what he was doing while he cleaned our fireplace. Looked up last years cleaning to see if there was anything he needed to check. Based on last years files he decided to recheck the chimney in the attic. Very pleased with the service!

Wow! Justin and Jaden where amazingly helpful and informative. They built and installed an fantastic custom mantle that fits the fireplace perfectly. I would highly recommend them and there work to anyone looking for any fireplace information, restoration, and even a custom mantle. This will be the first time in 6 years we will be able to use our fireplace and are very thankful.

Barbara J Justin was very professional and did a great job of cleaning my chimney as well as installing a new right side blower. He was extremely polite as have been the office women I spoke with to set up the appointment. While I find the cost rather expensive compared to former services, I believe it is worth it to have a real professional. I hope Justin returns for my next cleaning. Many thanks!

This is our third year for A1 to service our insert. We are very pleased with the companies technicians. Justin just completed our cleaning today, 10/14/22. He told us to schedule a cleaning earlier in the year for a discount offer! First year we told them about a back draft issue, after inspection they told us it was not up to code. We tried calling the other company and they were out of business so A1 did the repairs and cleaned the insert. Problem solved. Second year they cleaned the chimney with no issues. I noticed they did not inspect outside or clean the cap, I didn't say anything at the time. Today Justin told me most of the soot was coming from the cap, I told him they didn't clean the cap or inspect outside last year, so he did. Justin cleaned the cap, gave us some recommendations to consider for the future. Justin took pictures for show and tell. Very pleased with the company. No immediate concerns to address and that gives us piece of mind going into the winter season. Thanks!

Very disappointed with this company... I'll called A-1 Chimney Pro, Inc. for an estimate on their pricing for chimney inspection. I was told $150 for an inspection; therefore, I made an appointment. They arrived and reschedule because there was a wood burning insert in the fireplace. The Tech said I will not be charge the inspection fee that day since they could not do the inspection. I was also told the office will call me to set up a new appointment. No discussion with either the Tech or anyone at the office that the inspection cost will increase. Therefore, I still expected the inspection to the the cost that was given to me at the time I first called, $150. The inspection finally happen which consist of moving the wood burning insert to my garage, climb on the roof to remove the extended flues and taking pictures of the chimney, and vacuum out the ash from the bottom of the fireplace. And when complete, I was told a triple cost. When I explained to the Tech that was not the cost that was told to me the Tech just apologies and went down to half $300. BAD service charged for inspection and cleaning that was not properly done.

I call Al and asked if they could replace my chimney cap with a wind directional cap. The reason is," when the wind blow even mildly, a loud wind down draft rumble down my chimney. The noise is disturbing at times. A1 advise they would have to do an inspection and the inspection cost would be $175. I must pay the inspection cost for them to advise. So I scheduled the appointment. They came out and advise I need to have chimney clean as well and it would cost $130. I agreed to let them do it. One guy clean the chimney and the other went in attic. They finished cleaning and the inspection and handed me a bill for $370 with a military discount. I was advise they would have to call the chimney manufacturer, which was in Canada, to advise about replacing the chimney cap. They would get back. After 2 weeks , no one called me. I called and spoke to the secretary and advise why I called. She stated she would pass the message. 2 more weeks went by and no call . I called again and same response. 2 more weeks and 2 months later there has been no response back to me. In the meantime, I checked my fireplace. I see there was black colored smoke stains all around my fire place door and walls. I took a cloth and clean the fireplace and was amazed at how much smoke stains were in and around my fireplace. I realized, that they did not do a good job cleaning my fire place. I feel like I have been taking advantage of and have been scammed
