Do not hire them! We have been wanting to write our Google review for some time to protect others but decided to wait until we received our CHAP survey. Our survey has finally come, and we have passed inspection, but this is despite our hiring 21st Century Health Care Consultants, not because of it. Almost immediately after hiring 21st Century Health Care in August 2022, we began having problems with our assigned agent. Problems included getting told we could have a virtual office rather than a brick-and-mortar office. This resulted in a waste of money, changing our address on various applications, tax documents, and our company being set back getting licensed for a couple of months. This same employee consistently sent us information intended for different hospices, asked for the same information repeatedly (our resumes at least 3 times) and would never directly answer questions we addressed. On more than one occasion, I had to ask her to be clearer in her responses. At one point, she performed so badly we began joking she had to be a relative of the owner. I spent the month of November emailing our consultant asking if the application had been sent into the state and never heard back from her. After the holidays, I called 21 Century and finally demanded she be removed as our consultant. Suddenly, after 2 months of no response from her, she had the audacity to call me and ask if I’d heard from the state. It was obvious she had been told she was fired by us and was trying to make amends. I had to inform her we couldn’t hear from the state if she hadn’t yet submitted our application and that if she had read even one of my emails, she would realize that.

In terms of the boot camp they offer, if you have any hospice experience, you don’t need to go. The first couple of days were “Hospice 101” and was designed more for people with limited or no experience. Despite discussing hospice being religion neutral, 21st Century had us stand for a prayer on the very first day. They advertise they provide CHAP policies and procedures, but our CHAP surveyor says CHAP doesn’t have its own set of P&Ps. They also never mentioned to us we could not print the P&Ps from a MAC, it had to be from Windows. This resulted in us having to print everything twice. The initial set of P&Ps we received were full of spelling errors, poor punctuation, bizarre formatting, and misinformation. We were told at boot camp some policies had been revised but did not receive the revised P&Ps until May, just 3 days prior to our state license survey. This resulted in 3 long days of printing thousands of pages, which was now the 3rd time we printed the P&Ps. It was ultimately recommended we buy the P&Ps from a separate company to ensure the information was correct for our accreditation survey. Our mock surveys (which were included as part of the benefit of hiring a consulting firm) were performed virtually.

It is glaringly obvious 21st Century is only interested in making money and is perpetuating the watering down of quality hospice services. There seems to be little interest if the hospice is being established by people with hospice experience or by investors only interested in making money.

My business partner and I are happy to be accredited and appreciate everything we have learned during this long process. If we had to go through it again, we would. We just wouldn’t hire 21st Century.

Bootcamp was very informative day in and day out. The company works as team throughout the whole process. My response from my licensing manager have been great and responds in less than 24 hours which is very important to me personally. I would highly recommend the company to my friends looking to start their own business. It's nothing but positive vibes the entire time. Shout out to Beth whom remained in contact with me even though it took me 6 months before deciding to buy in. She answered all my million questions that I asked. Thank you all :)

We were shocked to pay almost $2,000 for a product from this company that isn't even recognized as something we can use in our state. Not only did they send us something that they knew wouldn't work ... they couldn't even put our company name on our information but instead sent us a companies paperwork out of Texas (we are in NC). We have asked them to refund us in full as we believe they have taken $2,000 from us without giving us anything we can use. If not resolved we will be contacting our legal team to handle this. Would not recommend to anyone.

21st Century is an awesome company to work with to do your start up. They are very knowledgeable people and are a pleasure to work with. The boot camp gives a lot of valuable information and the speakers know a lot about start ups no matter what state you are in. The focus of 21st century is on the success of the business owners that they help with start ups and I feel as if they listened to what I wanted and helped me to get there. My time here for the boot camp was well worth it and I am excited to get back to Virginia and start my agency. Thank you 21st Century.

21st century a consultancy company for homecare licensing, i surely will recommend to anyone trying to start up a successful homecare or any other related home agency. I personally is happy that i was able to choose 21st century for my license out of other several consultancy I google and spoke with. What makes them unique? First they are what they say they are. They are honest, trust worthy and communicate. They not just get your lLicense, they train you in how to be the best and give quality care. Their Boot Camp my favorite is the best. It teaches you everything you want to know to be the best agency the community can trust.

Ms. Mahera A. is very knowledgeable, patient, pleasant, and responsive. Ms. Mahera A. was able to use her excellent communication skill to help me win. She knows what she is doing. She is a professional that cares about her clients and will do anything to help them succeed. I'm grateful to 21th Century and Ms. Mahera A. for helping me getting through Medicaid Provider Enrollment Application and become a Medicaid Provider in North VA. I just love how 21st century assisted us in getting our accreditation. Karen our clinical consultant in particular was very helpful. She dont mind being called anytime time of the day. I know how busy this lady is,, but she set aside what she is doing when we call her. She gives advices and coaches us in every step of our way. We might open our infusion company soon,, and i would love 21st century to assist us again, the 2nd time around. I actually recommended 21st century to one of the company who openned up in vegas and now,, they are one of 21st century client. Very informative, professional team. I can't tell you how impressed I was with the team they have in place. They even brought in other extensions (Imark Billing, CHAP, ACHC, ALORA) to ensure a smooth transition. I can also say that I was first in contact with Carol...she had me with her professionalism and her genuine concerns for meeting our needs. Then, there was Karen. GOSH! I LOVE KAREN. She puts the customer #1 and has boots on the ground to make things happen "pronto". Over the period of time to become licensed, I not only grew my business but actually grew my family. I love them all...Carol, Karen, Lynn (Imark Billing), Linda, John and many others. I cannot recommend them enough. Oh! The prices were exceptional too. :)

For the past two years I have always wanted to start a HHC business and did not have the right company to get involved with. I looked up different companies online and 21 century stood out. It has been a great experience since joining them. I am not sure how home care business thrive without the right consultants. I am very hopeful and believe I have someone to look forward to for assistance - a lifetime offer.! Please contact them and you will never be disappointed. My name is Peace U, the owner and Administrator of PELA Healthcare Services, Inc in Sugar Land Texas. We started with 21st century in 2008 as a beginner and went through the state Survey and CHAP surveys all these years and still with them.They are a phone call away from you no matter where you are. I have recommended them to many successful Agencies that are very happy to use 21st Century Health Care Consultants for their business. From the owner,the CEO and all the staff has a very positive and encouraging attitude for their client even during surveys and any difficult time. 21st Century Health care Consultants you are the best and I will be happy to recommend you to anyone that want to open a Home Health Agency or have an ongoing Agency that need assistance. I am happy to use 21st Century up to date! The Whole Team is Amazing, One Good thing you should know is this...They do not do mistakes on your Applications, I have had the Licensing team with Kalli and Cynthia, the Enrollment team with Bethany, do my applications, and no applications have ever been returned for mistakes ( I know why I am saying this, incase you try to do it by yourself). The Clinical team is also amazing to get you through accreditation, Ms Cathy will talk with you on the phone even on the weekends to make sure you understand the things that you have problems understanding. The BootCamp is motivational, I didn't want to go but decided to give it a shot, and attended in December, that was when I came back with shoulders high to start my Home health business. If you want a prospective/successful Home health, Home care business, go to John and his team ( 21st century). I am not yet accredited but I am ready, and the delay is not from 21st Century trust me. The overall experience is awesome, and the Customer support is so Professional !

John D, has duped our company owing us 15,700... forms prepared were denied or deficiencies every-time Lisa B. and Bethany completed our forms for Medicaid. They never took responsibility for their actions and mistakes. They have tried to intentionally sabotage our company along with others. I am not a bitter client, however we deserve better after paying nearly 28k for services we never received. John D. sent us a form to cancelled our medicaid agreement, but sends us a/agreement which cancels 21st Century Consultant responsibility and accountability for his actions of the company and mistakes in preparing our application for medicaid waivers. All 3 waivers were denied, w/ multiple deficiencies constantly. The turn-over of staff is horrific even when they leave they call and explain how John coaches them to display misconduct. Wow. how can the ComplaintsBoard.com allow this company to have high ratings when John co-hearse potential clients and client to write reviews during Boot-Camp not knowing whats a head of them during the process. The -Turn Key is a joke, they lie and state we have lifetime consultant FREE... but they charge you!

I have been signed up with this company since 2017 and the service has been excellent. I'm from Pennsylvania and, before every making the trip down to Florida, I decided to sign up with this company over the phone based on their long track record and excellent reviews. This has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. Not only did 21st Century Health Care Consultants help me apply for my license, but they assigned me to a specific team member to walk me every step of the way. I'm someone who likes to ask lots of questions and they were able to address any question or concern that I had during the application process and beyond. The communication with the team has been great. They inform me of any major policy or procedure updates for my state when changes occur and even send me updated policies. All of the staff that I have encountered have been amazing. Everyone is friendly and always willing to help. Just recently I was due for my license renewal and Roberta who is an license account manager was able to patiently help me with the renewal process. I'm so grateful for all that this company has to offer and all of its amazing team members. With 21st Century HCC you are never alone because they are always one call away!

I have been a very happy and satisfied 21st Century Health Care Consultants client. I have attended 9 different Boot Camps and Trainings. With all due respect, having attended 9 of these Boot Camps with 5 different employees, I've insight and credibility about the company most people don't have. Their training is excellent. Period. I learn from them each time I attend them. It would be a complete waste of my time and money, otherwise. My employees who have attended all agree how well their training is. I gauge the other attendees from all over the country and get their feedback as well, and I have never once heard any negativity or negative comments. Not once. I contact the office by phone or email at least once a day and they are always responsive and answer any and all questions. Same applies for my staff. My staff have never once complained or had a problem with them going on 2 years now. Period. People complaining about the cost need to realize and understand that in life you get what you pay for. If you want the best, you pay for it. For what you get for your fee, it's truly a bargain. People also conveniently forget that they negotiate thousands of dollars in discounts for them. How convenient for them to forget that. They negotiate major discounts on all of the vendors you need to make your business successful, including ACHC and CHAP accrediting organizations. For the person in Texas and other complainers complaining, it's easy to tear people and companies apart and just complain and try to find fault. Have you ever thought about building people and companies up and lifting them up? It's hard to believe that they would be different with you than me or most of their clients. I just attended my 9th Boot Camp with my NP that was from 8/24-8/27. Again, it reinforced my positive experience! My NP who is a MSN, APRN, and FNP-C, with over 25 years of nursing experience, was completely impressed and learned a lot from them. She told me what a great job they did and that I made a great choice in choosing them as my health care consultant!
