Membership dropped without explanation
I have been a contributor for years, I do my best to give my actual feelings, honestly, have provided my actual statics, name age, where I live, my political standings as well as my beliefs. I was up over 900 points when I received a email asking me to verify identity, I did my best but was unable to satisfy them that I was legit, but apparently they did not agree!
I made multiple attempts but they never explained why I was dropped, or why I never received the $90 plus dollars owed me!
Claimed loss: Over $90 !
Desired outcome: Explanation as to why I was dropped, and the money owed me!!

Focus group gift card not received
I participated in a Focus Group in December. This is the email I was sent: “Thank you for recently completing a recruitment survey for a focus group hosted by YouGov. We're delighted to inform you that you qualify for this focus group, for which you will receive a $100 Visa gift card. We’re looking forward to hearing your opinions tonight, Monday, December 18 at 7pm EST.” I completed the Focus Group, but never received my gift card. I’ve emailed them multiple times and have been ignored every time. I feel scammed by them as I spent the full amount of time doing the focus group only to receive nothing and be ignored by their customer service. I am very unhappy with them and have since stopped using their website because it felt like a waste of time.
Claimed loss: $100
Desired outcome: I would like the gift card to be sent to me.

YouGov seems to have taken the focus out of their focus group by forgetting the most important part — the promised gift card. You put in the time and effort, only to be left empty-handed and ignored. It’s almost as if they’re trying to make your opinions disappear. It’s frustrating when you hold up your end of the deal and the other side goes silent. Hopefully, they’ll realize that keeping their promises is key to maintaining trust. Until then, it’s understandable why you’ve decided to move on from them. Here’s to getting what you’re owed — maybe with a little less waiting next time.
Membership rewards
I have been a YouGov member for many years and provided true and accurate information about myself and provided genuinely held opinions in response to survey requests. In return for this, I receive Rewards from YouGov by way of points, which are redeemable for a cash sum of £50 payable by bank transfer once 5000 points are accrued.
I achieved 5000 points back in May 2021 but was unable to redeem my points in the usual way as there appeared to be a problem on YouGov's website. I contacted YouGov through the support link under my account over 20 times and, other than automated responses, received no response until 13 July 2021when I was informed that their payment partner was unable to process payments and they were working on finding a solution to this. They advised that they would be able to send my reward via a BACs transfer if I could just reconfirm my name, bank name, and account number details so they could ensure they have the right details on file. I confirmed these details on the same day and received a further email from YouGov on 29 July 2021 advising that they had processed my payment via a BACs transfer and that I should receive the £50 in my bank account by 30 July 2021.
It is now 23August 2021 and the money has still not been paid into my bank account. I have contacted YouGov a further 7 times, but have received only automated responses. I have also tried telephoning the number shown on their website but received only an answer service, to which I left a message but have received no response.
The 5000 points were deducted from my points balance by YouGov on 29 July 2021 and I am still receiving survey requests.
Desired outcome: I would like YouGov to pay the £50 they owe me

Locked out of account, haven't received reward I redeemed points for.
I've been a member of YouGov for years and never had a problem until recently. I finally got to the 55, 000 points needed to redeem for a $50 Amazon gift card but I didn't redeem right away. The next thing I know I suddenly don't receive a requested login code and can't access my account. I tried daily and requested a response from support, no response. This went on for about a week and I got an e-mail that directed me to a page where had to re-enter all my info as if I was a new member. I was then able to access my account and redeemed my Points for the $50 Amazon gift card. A day or 2 later I again stopped receiving a requested login code and haven't bee able to access my account for over a month. I have made many requests to support but only get a canned response, no explanation, no login code, no gift card, I got the reward verification e-mail 6/18/2021 that said I would receive my reward within 3 weeks, still nothing.
I don't know what horrible infraction I committed that warrants not only an account lock out but withholding the reward that I spent years on their site to earn.

scammed
I have been doing surveys for yougov for several years. I finally saved up enough points (100, 000) for a $100 check. I redeemed the points in mid September. I got an email m them in mid Oct. requesting that I verify my address, which I did right away. I've not heard a word since. I have posted twice on their facebook page & e-mailed the 4 times. They are completely ignoring me. I have always written politely. They have answered people on facebook that have posted after me. What are my options? I am disabled & really count on my survey money. This year I actually thought I would be able to buy Christmas presents for my grandkifds. It is extremely frustrating,
I have been taking part in YouGov surveys since last 6 months. I had gained 5000 Points and redeemed in August 2014. YouGov (UAE) sent me $50.00 through Western Union on 1st Sep, 2014. I have received this amount (SR. 186) from Bank Al-Enjaz (Jeddah). In my opinion, YouGov is not a Scam. May be you did any mistake in verification of your address. On the other side, I agree with you that if you contact them through their webpage, they never contact you back.
Unpaid Surveys
I started completed online surveys with YouGov UK I think around 2007. After completing an awful lot of surveys I had an account balance of £26 in Sept 2009. Since that date I have not had one single paid survey to complete, only unpaid surveys. I have contacted them loads of times to see if they will pay me the £26 I am owed, but they refuse to pay out before a balance of £50 is accumulated, but it is impossible to get to this figure as I no longer get any paid surveys to complete. They very rarely answer my emails, and when they do they just fob me off with excuses. It seems I am not alone in this judging by the other complaints on this site.

do not pay out or answer emails
I have been answering online surveys with yougov for approximately 5 years. It has taken this long to get close to the £50.00 you need to cash out. Suddenly I am unable to log in to my account. Over the last few months I have sent around 50 emails asking for help - I received a couple of answers directing me to the faq board which does not help. Apart from this, nothing.
Beware of Yougov - they do not pay out and they do not answer emails
yougov are fraudsters

They refuse to respond
At the end of the Yougov/CNN panel survey I did on August 16, 2007, the screen said that I would be credited with a $10.00 Amazon.com voucher; this is what the original email announcing the survey also said. I did not receive the voucher. Repeated emails to Yougov were totally ignored. Eventually, on October 1, 2007, by dint of persistent emails, I did get the voucher which I was promised three months before.
On July 12, 2008, I received an email announcing another survey. When I logged in, my CNN Panel account said "You have not completed any surveys." As a matter of fact, I have done several surveys and accumulated hundreds of points. As usual, all of my emails to various Yougov addresses have been ignored. From what I have seen on various Internet forums, neither the this fraud by Yougov nor their refusal to respond to emails are isolated cases. Their fraud is habitual.

I complained about options to redeem 118,150 points & never had trouble til now. Yougov removed the Pay Pal option I used before. Now to get money they want my bank number & routing number. My credit union does not advise it and husband said no. Or I can get an email virtual card but Walmart, Target et al refusing those cards due to scammers. HELP
I completed surveys to the value of 50 pounds but did not receive the cheque as promised. I have sent dozens of emails and phoned a number of times to no avail. I will however persist.
Scammed here too. I redeemed my points for a Michaels gift card $25 but they sent me a card for $25 free movies. Thing is, the gift card they sent was for Regal theaters of which there are NONE anywhere even close to me much less this state! So, it's totally & completely WORTHLESS!
I redeemed my points for a regal gift card forth 25 dollars that was 6 months ago I have yet to receive it the said they reissued a card last wee still have not gotten it going to report them to better business
I spent a great deal of time doing surveys and got up to £26 and then the paid surveys stopped coming. I was sent loads of surveys to complete, but they were all unpaid surveys. I have contacted them loads of times since I completed my last survey in sept 2009, but they are not interested and it is now June 2011. As you will know they do not pay out until you reach £50, but how will I ever reach it with unpaid surveys? They are obviously complete scamsters and I intend to find out if there is a regulating body for them.
YouGov COMPLETELY dishonest and unprofessional!
I have been taking surveys from yougov for quite some time. I am owed $100 after being a panel member for YEARS, since when I was in college. I have taken a great deal of time and effort to get some kind of satisfaction from yougov, but to no avail. My account states:
Cheque No. Date Paid Amount Paid
2021 1/26/2009 $50.00
94 9/30/2008 $50.00
Yet I have not been compensated.
I finally got an e-mail from an Emily Young stating my check was coming to me in five weeks because they were experiencing a delay. This was sent to me 02/16/09. It is now May of 2009.
Under the 'My Details' tab, there isn't even anywhere to enter your mailing address or futher information about youself. So how could they have mailed these alleged checks? I e-mailed a young lady named Kirsty Marshall who said she forwarded my information and then politely asked how I got her contact information.
I am frustrated that I have wasted time and getting no answer. How can a panel ignore their panelists like this? I feel cheated and unappreciated. Like I fell for the oldest trick in the book. What am I supposed to do at this point? Where do I go next?
