I've been an Xfinity customer since late 2022, and over the past year, my experience has become increasingly frustrating. My bill has climbed to an astronomical amount, and every time I contact customer service to lower it, I'm promised one price, only to receive a bill reflecting something entirely different.
This has happened at least three times in the past six months. I've even saved chat transcripts documenting the prices I was quoted. Yet, when the bills arrive, there are additional charges that were never clearly explained.
Today was no different. I spoke with a representative who assured me that I could receive 2 Gig internet service for approximately $85 per month, including equipment, AutoPay discounts, and everything else. I've heard similar promises before, so naturally, I was skeptical.
What bothered me even more was being told that I couldn't cancel my Xfinity internet without also canceling Xfinity Mobile because the two services were supposedly interconnected. After checking, I discovered that this information was incorrect.
The representative even emphasized that she had worked for Xfinity for 21 years and acknowledged that some representatives provide misleading information, while assuring me that she was telling me the truth. Unfortunately, her own information turned out to be inaccurate.
**My biggest issue isn't just the price. It's the repeated misinformation, lack of transparency, and broken promises.** Customers should not have to spend hours calling customer service, questioning every charge, and saving conversations just to ensure they're billed what they were promised.
After multiple attempts to resolve these issues, I've lost confidence in Xfinity's customer service and pricing practices. **Customer loyalty should mean something, and customers deserve honesty, transparency, and fair billing.**
