i purchased a ghd straightner from this web site and when it was delivery 7 days later i tried to register it on line and then called and was told that these where fake immatations. i have emailed them 7 times to get my money back i got one reply saying they have to speak to the shift worker in which case it has nothing to do with him whether this company sells fake products. i am waiting to get a reply and my money back. This should not be allowed to happen. so anyone who wants ghd irons get on their website of ghd authorized web sites there is a list of websites that ARE SAFE. good luck!

I have just bought a pair of ghd straighteners from this website also, not realising that they were fake. I have emailed them saying i want my money back but im still waiting for a response. I thought that they were from america and thats why they were cheaper they shouldnt be aloud to say they are ghds when theyre not they should have to say its an imitation, isnt it against copyright?

I bought one too! and i only realised after i received it that it is fake! Im going to message them aswell and try to get my money back, but i'm afraid that i probably won't be able to. I'll know in the future to check sites like these to make sure that it is fake or real!

Not happy that thay can get away with this as i fell for the cheap prices too, does anyone know what can be done to help stop this or get money back?

I have ordered some from ghd outlet london. They have said they don't even have a record of me purchasing the straighteners so I have disputed this transaction with my credit card company. Also when I try and log on to this site now it does not recognise my email and password! My advice stay away from ghd outlets. They are obviously conning people!

I also had ordered GHD's from this site, although strangely they have been keeping in contact with me !
They have actually admitted to me that they do not sell authentic GHD's. I have now cancel my order but they still want to charge me the 25% cancellation fee ! I am now going to inform GHD as they have a forum to let them know about websites selling couterfiet GHD's.
My advice to all of you is if you bought them on your credit card and they have not sent you the goods but charged you, is to get in contact with your credit card company they have a dept that will chase this up for you and get you your money back!

I orderded a set of perple straighteners from ghd outlet4 3 days ago and as yet the money has not come out of my bank account and they have not been delivered, which is weird because the website states that there are over 600 in stock This is not looking good I seem to have been ripped off I bet the money wil leave my account and I won't receive the straighteners. With genuine sites the money clears instantly. AVOID GHD OUTLET4!

WARNING==I bought ghds from ghdoulet(london).com and what a rip off.The straighteners and arrived and looked the genuine thing all boxed and tagged. Used them once then they didnt work again.I sent them to the address on the box with a letter and the receipt (which i paid postage) and recieved a letter back saying they was conterfeit. When i phoned i was told they was a good copy and the only way they knew was to open them up and look at the elements inside.Like other people have mentioned in their complaints try and get in touch with the site you ordered them from and you cant even log in. SO HERE IS A WARNING TO PEOPLE NO MATTER HOW CHEAP THEY ARE DONT WASTE YOU TIME OR MONEY ORDERING THEM. I am now trying to chase my credit card up for a possible refund.

Guys beware !

ghd-outlet.net is a major fake. Bought some ghd's from there, and yes everything looked legit but when you go to register the product, theres nothing there.

Any ghd below £50 is a fake. And they won't refund your money as well.

Hi everybody can I start by saying i bought some GHDs from this sit in july and it is possible to get your money back.
My advice is to be as nice as possible to them as they have your money never forget that and try not to loose your temper with them. I mean once yove got your money back then give them hell but until then be civil and not rude.
The email address that you need to contact is ghd.outlet@gmail.com if you email them saying that your concerned the straighteners you bought are fake then they will email you back saying that 'they are good copys'.
If you say you dont not want to keep them and would like a full refund you may have to jump through a few hoops like sending them to the next customer in the uk or abroad, but in the end you'll get your money back and any money you spent on postage.
This is the ONLY way ive heard of anybody gettin theyre money back, and theyll just ignore you if you have a go at them or threaten them. It took me 6 weeks and sending it to the next customer before i got my money back but i did eventually get it back!
Dont let them keep your money!

I orderd the purple gift set of these on www.ghdfactoryoutlet-london.com on monday and I had a look at my bank account today and they have took an extra 5 pound out and the site has currently "crashed" so I can't check my order or anything and the money was took out off a company who sells playstations and xbox's! I have just emailed that above address and said I want my money back so I will let you know when and if I get a reply back. Deffinatly never going to use one of these sites again who knows the straightners may have exploded on me as soon as I would get them!

When will you people ever learn! If it sounds too good to be true IT IS. Really GHDs that cheap! C'mon! I came across this site and there was NO LOCK ICON (which means thet are a legit company) AND NO 'S' AT THE END OF 'HTTP'(which means the site is secure) I immediately started to investigate. I have nearly been stung a few times and fingers crossed never will be by following these simple rules.

I am so worried as i have just bought some of the ghd's from ghd-outlet.com. I ordered them yesterday and have emailed them today about getting a refund. I really don't think i'm going to get one and i'm so worried i really don't know what to do i have reported them to trading standards but i'm sure i'm not the only one whos thought of that and they are still selling them so i have little confidence in that. I just really want my money back. What else can i do? Has anyone else ever heard back from them?

Yesterday i purchased a pair of ghd's from ghd-outlet.com and i then read on the internet about fake ghd's i then researched this website and it turns out that they are fake ghd's and they are dangerous and could burn or electricute the user this is really worrying me so today i sent them an email about getting a refund they haven't replied so i sent them another one with a reason as to why i want a refund i didn't say i want a refund coz they're fake or anything like that i'm so worried i really don't think im going to get my money back. i have reported them to trading standards but im sure other people have done that and they are still selling the faulty goods so that obviously hasn't done anything. I really really need my money back and i don't have a clue what else to do i know i just have to sit and wait and see if my luck is in but i have a feeling it won't be! has anyone else heard back from them?

I have recently received the product from these scam merchants, and i tried to register it, but it appears that the serial number is not valid (surprise surprise).
I also received many emails from them, telling me that i would receive the product in a week, which didnt happen as they kept on prolonging the time, and giving me false tracking numbers for some postal service known as 'EMS', which happens to be based in China.
Anyway, long story cut short, i have tried the ghd's and they appear to work as well as the real ones do, but i wll have to see whether they stay that way!
There is asolutely no point contacting them for a refund, because it wont happen, and you wont get your money back, and you will lose the product if you decide to send it back to them. The best thing to do is to contact your bank and inform them of the scam, and the bank should reimburse the money back you you through their disputes service.

I also purchased ghd straightener from this con website and today i got a letter from customs saying that the package was send from china which also rouses suspicions. Now I'm trying to get my money back. It was totally my own stupidity that got me into this. I should have seen the signs that this is a total fraud. Have any of you won this battle?

Same thing happened to me today... I bought 6 pair of these thinkin i could make a few £'s and after i made the purchase i wondered why i had no confirmation email. I left it a while then tried to log onto the site but as i have read on many other peoples reports it did not confirm my log on details. I then began to get worried so i found this site which confirmed my fears! I have since sent them an email askin for a refund which i am not holding my breath on! My only hope is my credit card company. I rang my credit card company in a panic telling them what had happened and they told me that im not to worry that i am covered for this but i will not b happy to the money is back in my bank where it belongs! Please keep me updated as to how your gettin on.

Goodluck every1 x

they emailed me back because i gave them an excuse as to why i don't NEED the "straightners" anymore, they didn't email me back for a while this was due to an apparant 3 days leave and they said they would give me a refund if i was to offer my paypal to them, which i don't have anyway, so i replied to them saying i don't have a paypal acount is there any other way i can get a refund and they haven't replied so i'm guessing that's my lot i have been waiting for a while to see if i get a reply but i'm guessing i won't so i'm going to try and go into my bank and see if there is anything i can do but as i've left it so long because i was niave and thought they would maybe refund the money, i think i won't have any luck. Has anyone else managed to get any help from their bank?

Hi

I naively ordered from this website last night, I knew as soon as the order had gone through it was dodgy, as I didn't recieved any order confirmation into my hotmail account, which I have always had with all other internet transactions.
Like everyone else I have tried to login with my user name and choosen password and it didn't recognise it, this is when alarm bells really started to ring.
I immediately contacted my bank to cancel the transaction, but as it was out of hours was told I'd need to wait until the morning to speak with telephone banking. In the meantime to prevent any further card fraud I cancelled the card I had used to make this payment.
After a lengthy discussion with my bank this morning it appears there is nothing they can do until the money leaves my account, as at this time it has been authorised and they cant overturn this or stop it.
The company have 5 days from the transaction authorisation to claim the money, if they dont claim the money within this time the authorisation will be cancelled.
However as soon as the money leaves the account I've been advised to contact the disputes dept who will investigate and attempt to get my money back from this company, if they cant then the bank will refund me the money at their cost along with some advice to not do it again.
Going by the email responses everyone has recieved from this company I have not wasted my time contacting them - even the email address looks dodgy, it doesnt appear to be a normal corporate address which a company would use - it appears to just be a normal hotmail account, so I am leaving this to my bank to investigate.
Fingers crossed I get my money back and i've learnt my lesson :(

I have found this complaintsboard too late. On oct. 27 I place my order and directly they confirm my order
and charged 71 USD from my creditcard. After weeks of waiting my order I mail them about the order. They mail me to contact the vendor directly on their webpage www.billingsupport.com. So I contact them. Then they send me a message they cannot shipped to the Netherlands. To refund I have to give my paypalaccount.
I don't understand why they need my paypalaccount, while they already have my creditcardnumber.
So by paypal I have send them a payment request. They will refund the payment. But now the webpage billingsupport is not connected and any mail to their mailadres 24H OUTLET Ltd
cannot be send. I am still waiting at my refund. There are more gdh webpage. Are the all the same verdor?

I feel like the biggest idiot now. I stupidly bought one from the site, i looked through the site for 3 days and thought hey what the hell, they could be legit. Now i have not received my product, and whenever i try and contact them i get no response, the email addresses and websites they sent me in the confirmation email are not valid :( i feel so ripped off and dont think i will ever purchase online again.

I should have known something was up when my bank actually rang me and asked if i had made any overseas purchases, because it had come up on their system and they didnt want to allow it to go through incase it was credit card fraud!

I should have cancelled it there and then!

Im off to my bank tomorrow to see what i can do from my end on getting my money back but i fear its too late, ad like all of you, have been ripped off!

Hopefully someone reads this before purchasing and doesnt make the same mistake i did :(

I have just read the fine print, stupid me, i should have read EVERYTHING before i purchased. From what i can gather, this specific site is from Victoria, Australia. So im off to the police station tomorrow too to try and see if they can do anything for me also. This should not be allowed to happen, although sadly it does.

To rectify my former message.
The order was from www.ghd-outlet.com. I've send a paymentrequest by Paypal. And finally they have made the refund. Vendor is from China.
I have just purchased a ghd IV styler from a uk webpage www.lookfantastic.com. The shippingcosts (worldwide) are low, and the price is a little bit lower. It is not a fake one and I am very happy with my purchase. Good service and very fast delivery.

I have bought some straightners from Ghdoutlet-uk.com.
I did not receive them and I still haven't and this is 20 days later!
Just before Christmas I recieved a letter supposedly from GHD (Jemella Group LTD) saying that legal proceedings were being taken against me for importing counterfeit goods!
There was a phone number on the letter so I phoned and it is just an advert, quite obviously trying to scam even more money out of me with a premium rate phone number.
Also through research on the internet I have found that the address on the letter I recieved for GHD is completely different to the actual adress on the GHD website.
I have emailed the company and each time they have asked me to give them my order number which I have done in all three emails I have sent.
They say that they have no record of my transaction!
