I contacted Writers Republic because I needed to publish my first book. I spoke to the editor, who was very encouraging to me, and he said, "Well, if you become a best seller, God willing." I purchased a package believing their marketing team would contact me as told. It didn't happen. Not knowing how the process worked, I believed what he said. I paid all the payments. I was told the book was published internally. No royalties were paid to me as promised. The first quarter has gone by. It's now June and it's hard to contact anyone. An employee from Marketing contacted me around Thanksgiving last year and said he had assessed my book for up to about 30%, but now he assessed it for 90%. He could help me with sales, but he needed more money. I was in dire need of money and waited to hear some good news. He said otherwise, my book would stay on the shelf. It was during Thanksgiving and Christmas and when people used ****** search, my book would come up first. I tried to stay optimistic, though I was beginning to lose trust in this company and myself not knowing how to handle this business. I'm a ********* and I know God is using me to encourage his people in many ways. I know it is not too late for God to bless me with what is rightfully my own. I am disappointed and cannot recommend this publisher to anyone. I went to the authors' portal but the steps given to me didn't work. It's almost been a year and no response. The editor said about 3 months ago when I contacted him that he would check into it to see what's going on, but I haven't been able to reach him since. Later in this process, the editor would repeatably say to me... call the employee who receives the content for the book, but this man seemed impatient, didn't explain anything, and his emails were short and both men had the same accent... I pointed out to the editor that they both sounded alike. I began to feel uncomfortable about this kind of business. I received calls from the editor's phone, thinking it was him, but then the other.

I was searching reviews from publishers in hope to find hope and or great news about Writers Republic I too invested my hard earned money. My book was put together rather quickly with excellent expectations that my book was going to be huge. I did find it strange my personal banking wasn't needed to payout royalties. Now I'm waiting to see what the first quarter will reach in sales. But there is not any logical way for me to see sales. Guessing its only the honor system or am I missing something else.

Hello, I too have published a book with them. They are scammers, they will take your money and still your royalties. They lied and they told me that I only sold 4 books on Amazon. How is that possible? It shows that I have only one book left in stock. I'm so hurt that I was cheated out of my money and not able to get noticed by anyone
