Window Depot USA, Chicago review: Contract for replacement windows breeched. Down payment of $4975 not returned.

I am a senior who, on 5/24/2022, signed a contract with Window Depot USA Chicago for $4975 to install 10 windows in my condo. Work was to be completed in October. Contacted CEO, Dan Faught who said that COVID had caused a delay in the materials, but would seek materials from another company and install my windows in November. Sent email at the end of October requesting a date for installment, with no response. Called many times after that through November and December without a response. Checked his facebook page where I discovered at least 18 other customers who had also been defrauded of their down payment, totaling thousands of dollars. This company was recommended by Angi/Home Advisors who I also contacted about this matter. Daniel Faught is the CEO and Eric Smith is the founder, both of whom I had contact with and was given assurances for the installation. To date I cannot reach them, as one of the phone number to the business is disconnected. They are located at 1001 Nicholas Blvd, Unit C., Elk Grove Village. I have also contacted the Illinois Attorney General's office.
