Weems Mental Health review: Complaint

I am currently employed at Weems Mental Health and experienced an accident while at work. Upon the accident I was sent for drug screening and followed all the procedures acquired by the agency. I was not severally hurt just sore from the fall, so I did not see the need to file workers comp. (so I thought) I began to feel pain as time pasted; however, I later followed up with my physician and discovered that I did hurt my spine which is requiring me to have surgery on 08/22/22. Although I was in excoriating pain, I did not use any handicap accessory until 08/09/22. The day I came to work with a walking cain (08/09/22) I was told that I could not work with any restriction and the walking cain was a restriction. I know that the policy says that this was a EOE facility, and it just applauds me to know that this facility does not access to their employees as stated in the policy. However, I did get hurt while on their clock and I have not been shown the due diligence as an employee.
