We decided to purchase a home with Watson Realy and use Watson Mortgage for financing. We received a Good Faith Estimate on the total amount of money needed to close. The estimate was for approximately $8, 000. We signed this estimate. A week before the closing deadline (If we passed the deadline we would have to pay $100 a day), Brenden Jaco the person handling our mortgage, screwed up on his documents. He told our agent that we needed to pay approximately $10, 500 at closing and that we knew about this the whole time. He back dated other Good Faith Estimates (without our signatures) to make it appear that we knew about it. Then he told us that the seller was trying to pull a fast one at the last minute. Bottom line: He screwed up and lied to us and his own company. He falsified documents. He is very condescending when he talks to you and actually hung up the phone on after we closed on the house. Oh yeah, almost forgot. He lost some paperwork needed for the loan and told me that he never received it from me. He tried to threaten me that I would have serious consequences if I didn't get them the paperwork they need. Not really worried about that. I have all the evidence I need to prove otherwise. When I get done here I'm fililng a complaint with the BBB and Watson.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I have had to deal with here in Clermont and they are so deceitful in their business practices it makes me wonder why they have not been sued...well it is coming to them soon,
