I had a new Carrier furnace installed in august 2022. Last Friday, Oct 21 was the first time I turned it on. PROBLEMS: burning plastic and other chemicals? blowing thru my house. So far 6 days of burning plastic. Technician came out on Monday and found the motor fan was loose and banging and destroying everything inside the motor housing. Furnace is not turning off and continues to heat. It is not the thermostat, it's the computer control with in the furnace. I've had to shut the furnace down every morning after it first comes on--power it off. The tech wants to replace the fan but I am so concerned about the other issues that I am asking for a new, working, in good condition furnace. I have a lemon with multiple issues and will not accept someone trying to piece together a bad piece of equipment.

I am a senior on limited income and am asking for your help.

Desired outcome: A new furnace and the ducts in my house cleaned of the plastic and chemical residue.
