October 18, 2022...Company came in to do a chimney cleaning and cleaning of the oil burner. Service technician cleaned the chimney from the inside instead of the outside (this was at my parent's house). Parents went to turn back on the oil burner and soot shot out all over the basement and up the stairs and into the rooms upstairs (kitchen, dining room, bathroom). Called the number on the invoice of the technician who did the cleaning and no one answered. Called the number on the invoice and said that a technician would come on friday, october 21.. No one showed up. Called again and said that the technician did not show up, said that there would be someone on tuesday, oct. 25, no one showed up... Called again and said that there would be someone on oct. 26 (I guess by now you know) no one showed up.. Called again quite agitated by now and said that someone would be by on friday october 28... My parents are 80 something years old and since then have not turned on there oil burner because of more soot blowing all over, plus the face that they are breathing this in! Also there was a discrepancy of the work order, seems that they charged them an additional $700 when they said that the job would only be $1000, so the bill came to $1740.73. Asked to email me an itemized bill explaining the $700, no email has come and called at least 4 times for this... At one time I have told them that my parents have no heat because of the soot problem and they said that they should find another oil company, but I said that they did the job and should come out to see the problem, but no one has come. There is still soot all over the basement as well on the curtains, floors, etc... We have cleaned this up as best as we could be still left some of this for the technician to see... We need help to rectify this very big problem...
