Warby Parker 6 m. policy

My purchase was 6/23. Order #[protected] cost $175. I have vision issue that have developed in the past year.

I wanted to get a new prescription and have you simply exchange them into the frames I presently have.

I was told no, outside the six months. Now it is only a bit over 7 months.

I dont think this is unreasonable request.

If you check your records, my wife and I have purchased several pairs of glasses over the years including sun glasses

I would appreciate a response and resolution,

Thank You

Joseph Abdulla

Warby Parker Disappointing Experience with Warby Parker: Poor Quality Lenses and Lacking Customer Service

I recently had an experience with Warby Parker and I must say, it was not a pleasant one. I ordered high index lenses because I have trouble with polycarbonate lenses. When my glasses arrived, I noticed that my eyes hurt when I wore them. I thought it was just a matter of getting used to the new lenses, but when my eyes continued to hurt, I started to suspect that they were polycarbonate lenses, which have caused me problems in the past.

I decided to email Warby Parker to confirm that they had sent me the high index lenses that I had ordered. To my surprise, they had intentionally sent me different lenses without informing me. They filled my order with regular lenses because, according to them, those lenses are better for my prescription. I was not consulted about this decision, nor was I informed. I was under the impression that I had received what I had ordered, but instead, I was given something that caused me discomfort.

When I explained the problem to Warby Parker, they recommended that I speak to one of their doctors or go into one of their stores. However, they did not explain why they would change my order without consulting me. I felt like I had wasted enough time with this company and did not want to spend any more time trying to fix the problem they had created. I was disappointed with their customer service and the quality of their lenses.

In conclusion, I would not recommend using Warby Parker. The lenses are of poor quality and the customer service is lacking. You get what you pay for, and in this case, it was not worth it.

Warby Parker Disappointing Experience with Warby Parker: Prescription Mix-Up and Poor Customer Service

We placed an order for glasses on March 27th, and the next day we received a call from Warby Parker saying that the prescription had expired. We had just gone to the doctor the day before, so we were confused. The prescription was only one day old, but the doctor's handwriting was terrible, and it looked like it said 2005 instead of 2015. We understand that mistakes happen, so we didn't make a big deal out of it. We emailed and called back and forth all day, but they couldn't find the correct phone number for the doctor. So, we had to Google it for them. We thought that after they got the correct number, things would start moving along, so we forgot about it.

A week later, we still hadn't received the glasses, so my boyfriend called to ask what was going on. They told him that they never got a hold of the doctor and pretty much just gave up on our order. We were shocked and frustrated. The guy on the phone apologized profusely and said he would take $10 off our order. We didn't think that was enough compensation for the inconvenience we had experienced. The next day, we received an email saying that they had finally contacted the doctor and that he should be faxing the prescription over. That was a week ago, and we haven't heard anything since. They still haven't charged us for anything, which leads us to believe that the order hasn't even shipped yet.

My boyfriend still doesn't have his new glasses, so he's been walking around blind as a bat. We're beyond frustrated and angry. We sent another email, but it's the weekend, so we don't expect to hear back until Monday. We're seriously considering canceling the order altogether. We wouldn't recommend Warby Parker to anyone. They've been nothing but a pain in the $#*!.

Warby Parker Disappointed with Warby Parker's Glasses Quality and Durability

I gotta say, I'm not too thrilled with Warby Parker. I mean, don't get me wrong, their customer service team is top-notch. They're quick to respond and always professional. But unfortunately, that's about the only good thing I can say about them.

I ordered a pair of prescription glasses and sunglasses from their Miami store back in May of this year. The delivery was on time, which was great. But then I started noticing scratches on my regular glasses lenses. And let me tell you, I take care of my glasses like they're my babies. I'm super careful with them because I need them to see. Plus, they're supposed to be scratch-resistant!

So I contacted customer service and they were great. They replaced my glasses without any hassle. But then, a few months later, I noticed scratches on both my regular glasses and my sunglasses. Again, I only clean them with the provided cloths and lens cleaner, and I keep my sunglasses in their case when I'm not wearing them.

I contacted customer service again and they replaced both pairs of glasses. And once again, they were outstanding. But now, just about a month later, I've found the same scratches in the same places on my regular glasses. I'm just done. I've gone through five pairs of glasses and I'm still having the same problem.

I'm not going to contact customer service again. I'm not going to use Warby Parker again. And I'm definitely not going to recommend them to anyone. I'll take my business elsewhere.

Warby Parker Disappointing Experience with Warby Parker: Discrimination and Partnership with Arby's

I recently had an experience with Warby Parker that left me feeling disappointed and frustrated. I had ordered my glasses at their Brooklyn location and had an eye exam scheduled for 11.20am at their Washington Street location in Meatpacking, NYC a few days later. Unfortunately, it was pouring rain and I arrived at 11.26am, just one minute past my grace period. The eye doctor was running 10-15 minutes behind schedule, which meant that the person who had an appointment before me was still with the doctor when I arrived.

Despite the fact that I was only one minute late, Managers Hussain and Chris used my tardiness as an excuse to take another white client and cancel my appointment. They informed me in a very haughty manner that the doctor was running late, but that my lateness of one minute was unacceptable. I was shocked to see that while I was being told to reschedule, a white family of four was given my appointment slot. When I asked why this was happening, all they said was that I was one minute over my grace time.

I tried to explain that I was only six minutes late and that the doctor was over 10 minutes behind schedule, but it seemed that other clients were being preferred over me. I was saddened to see that, except for me, all the clients in the store were white. To make matters worse, the manager was speaking to me in a rude manner that emboldened a random customer to start yelling at me about eye doctors and whatnot. I was left in an unpleasant and aggressive situation.

Despite this experience, I must say that Warby Parker has a great selection of glasses and their website is easy to navigate. However, I was disappointed to learn that they are in partnership with Arby's, a company that continues to advertise on Laura Ingraham's show. I hope that Warby Parker will reconsider this partnership and take a stand against hate speech and discrimination.

Warby Parker Disappointing Warranty Policies and Lack of Customer Service from Warby Parker

I recently purchased a pair of glasses from Warby Parker's website in April 2023. Unfortunately, after only a week of use, the liner on the right frame broke. I was disappointed to see this happen as I had not dropped or mishandled the glasses in any way. Upon visiting the Warby Parker store, I was informed that they could not replace the glasses with the exact same frame that I had chosen and wanted. This was due to their policy of not stocking or producing certain frames anymore.

I was offered two alternative colors that I did not like or the option to purchase a new frame at full price. I had paid almost $300 for the glasses, and I was not happy with the options presented to me. I felt like they were not investing in my satisfaction as a customer. I had chosen the glasses because I loved the color and frame, and now I was being told that I could not have the same design.

I was disappointed with Warby Parker's warranty policies and lack of customer service. They did not offer any refunds or compensation for the inconvenience I had experienced. As a regular customer of Warby Parker, this was not the first time I had purchased glasses from them. However, after this experience, I will not be recommending them to anyone.

It is frustrating to spend a significant amount of money on a product that breaks within a week of use, and then be told that I must pay more money to replace it. I do not believe this is fair or reasonable. I hope that Warby Parker will consider improving their policies and investing in their customers' satisfaction in the future.

Warby Parker Disappointed with Warby Parker's Lack of Communication and Customer Service

I was really excited about Warby Parker at first, but now I'm pretty disappointed. They sent me 5 different frames to try on for free, which was awesome. I was even able to keep them for longer than expected because of bad weather and having 4 kids to take care of. But then things went downhill. I asked if I could keep the frames I liked and just have my eye doctor put lenses in them because my insurance covers it. They said yes and that I would be "billed" once they got the other frames back. But what they really meant was that they were going to charge me without any warning or notice. They just took the money out of my account without telling me. I only found out because I check my account all the time. I even have the Warby Parker app and I didn't get a notification. This is really frustrating and inconvenient. When I contacted customer support, they were not helpful at all. They didn't care that they took money from my account without my permission. They were really rude and condescending. I can't believe they can just charge people without telling them. Other companies always let you know when you're going to be charged. If Warby Parker would just communicate with their customers better, they wouldn't have so many bad reviews. I won't be using them again because of this terrible experience. I'm just hoping the frames I got hold up because I've heard a lot of people have had problems with them breaking. If you're thinking about using Warby Parker, I would look somewhere else.

Warby Parker Disappointed with Warby Parker: Poor Quality Control and Inflexible Policies

I've been a loyal customer of Warby Parker since they opened their first brick and mortar store in San Francisco. I've always been impressed with the quality of their products, the fit of their glasses, and their customer service. However, my recent experience with them has left me feeling disappointed and frustrated.

In August of 2022, I ordered two pairs of glasses from Warby Parker - one for distance and one for computer use. When the first shipment arrived at my home, I discovered that both pairs had the same prescription. I sent back the duplicate pair and waited for the correct prescription to arrive. When it did, I was shocked to find that the right lens had massive crazing across it. I had to take photos to prove the issue and secure a replacement pair.

Unfortunately, the replacement pair took a month to arrive because it had to be shipped to the East Coast for quality control. When it finally arrived, the lenses looked good, but the right arm of the frames was bent and warped. I was frustrated but didn't pursue a third replacement because I needed glasses to see and work and couldn't wait any longer.

Fast forward to January of 2023, and I've noticed that both pairs of glasses have started to show crazing on the edges of the lenses. It's creeping towards my main focal point, and I'm worried about the long-term durability of the glasses.

I called Warby Parker this morning to request a full refund, but I was told that it wasn't possible. They only offer a 30-day money-back guarantee, and I'm well past that point. The customer service representatives I spoke with were polite but unrelenting. They offered to ship replacement pairs, but I don't trust the product or their production service model anymore.

I'm very unhappy with my experience with Warby Parker, and I'm out $420. I'm homebound and using outdated prescription glasses in the meantime. It's worth noting that the outdated glasses I'm wearing right now are also from Warby Parker, and I bought them six to eight years ago. They've held up well with no crazing or quality issues.

Overall, I wouldn't recommend shopping at Warby Parker unless you can afford the financial loss or are only looking for cosmetic frames with no risk of crazing. Their customer service is polite, but their policies are inflexible, and their quality control seems to be lacking.

Warby Parker Disappointing Experience with Warby Parker: Inaccurate Measurements, Unavailable Frames, and Wrong Prescription

So, I gotta say, my experience with Warby Parker was not great. I was really interested in some frames that weren't available for home try-on, so I reached out to them to see when they'd be available. They gave me a pretty vague answer and basically just told me to buy them and return them if I didn't like them. I wasn't super thrilled about that, but I didn't know what else to do, so I went ahead and bought them.

Then came the issue with my pupillary distance. It wasn't included in my prescription, so Warby Parker's solution was to have me hold a credit card up to my face and take a picture. I mean, come on, that's not exactly the most accurate way to measure something. When the glasses arrived, they were way too tight and the pupillary distance was way off. I felt like I was seeing double!

I called Warby Parker to see if maybe the high index lenses were the problem, but the person I spoke with said they'd have an optician email me the next day. That never happened. So, I returned the glasses and tried to find another pair of frames I liked. But once again, the ones I wanted weren't available for home try-on. What's the point of Warby Parker if you can't even try on the frames you want?

I decided to just go to a Warby Parker store and try on some frames in person. It was a bit of a trek, but I found a pair I liked and got all the measurements taken. I gave them my prescription and ordered the glasses. When they finally arrived, the prescription was wrong! I was so frustrated at this point. I don't know what to do except go back to the eye doctor and have them remake the lenses.

Overall, I'm pretty disappointed with my experience with Warby Parker. I feel like their whole thing is supposed to be making glasses shopping easier and more convenient, but it just ended up being a huge hassle for me. I'm not sure if I'll be using them again in the future.

Warby Parker Review of Warby Parker Glasses: Good Customer Service, Flimsy Frames, Better Options Available

I gotta say, I was pretty impressed with the customer service over at Warby Parker. Both the online chat and phone support were top-notch, even when I had to return my glasses for a refund. However, when I finally received my glasses, I noticed that neither of the lenses were fully in the frames. I was able to fix the right one, but the left one just wouldn't stay put. I'm thinking it might have been because of my strong progressives not working well with the small frame (Renwick), but I really wish someone had contacted me to let me know or even just looked at the finished product before sending it out.

Now, don't get me wrong, Warby Parker definitely has better quality and selection than other online places that offer frames and polycarb lenses for under $100 (like Felix and Iris or Classic Specs). But I gotta say, they're pretty flimsy. I'd only recommend them if you're looking for a few pairs of glasses to match different outfits.

If you're not planning on changing your frames every year, I'd suggest spending a bit more money (around $50-$100) to get a mid-range brand-name, genuine Luxottica-made frame with comparable lenses at glasses.com. They only have virtual try-on, so you'll need to go to a place like Lenscrafters to write down the style number and dimensions, then search glasses.com (which includes the same-as-everywear polycarb basic lenses in the prices) or the brand's retail site. They'll let you return them if they don't work out. And if you want lens upgrades or just don't like the thicker free lenses, it might be cheaper to go to Costco for better lenses that won't cost much more or may even be cheaper than the upgrade surcharges at online places.

I'm not a paid spokesperson or anything, but my husband actually bought his prescription RayBans frames online and the total with Costco's 1.67 progressives was about the same price as with the upgrades needed to get the same lens everywhere online (including Warby Parker). I also did this for Polos for 1.67 single-vision computer glasses. And you get strong temples and better-finished acetate, so they should last for two years.

Warby Parker Disappointing Experience with Warby Parker: Prescription and Pupil Distance Issues, Plus Political Virtue Signaling

I recently bought glasses from Warby Parker and was disappointed with my experience. They claimed they would contact my optometrist to get my prescription, but after a week, I had to call them and send it myself. If they don't want to do that, why offer the option? It was a week wasted.

Then, they asked for the distance between my pupils. I took a picture with a credit card at arm's length and sent it in. They said it wasn't good enough, so I sent more pictures. This went on for a week, with me sending over 10 pictures. When I threatened to cancel my order, they finally told me I needed to show the magnetic strip on the card. They never mentioned that before, and it shouldn't have taken so long to figure out.

My last issue is more personal. I'm a democrat, but I don't like when people use their political beliefs to virtue signal. The woman I spoke with used "she/her" in her tagline, which I found annoying. It's a dumb choice for a company to have employees espousing political ideologies in their interactions. I canceled my order and went to LensCrafters instead.

Overall, my experience with Warby Parker was frustrating and time-consuming. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

Warby Parker Glasses

Ordered march 26, then april 10th, got an email saying “we need something”. Thats like THREE WEEKS! I called and waited and waited for a voice to answer - and gave up. So next day tried the online chat and got someone who was very very slow to respond (had to repeat my order number three time!) and he finally said “sorry we dont need anything from you, those emails were a mistake. Were processing your order already”. Then got an email on april 12th, saying theyre now working on my order and will ship in 7-10 days”. That would be april 19th? But now my new delivery date estimate is april 26th.” That is over a month! The only reason im spending $545 on another pair is my last pair they never checked anything in my prior order (my 4th time to order online) and ended up with wrong size glasses (medium width, when every other order ever made was large width). Fine but they refused to take them back to fix, said “sorry cant help you”, so had

to reorder them all over again and will jusy throw away my current pair of new Rx sunglasses. Not a great experience - seems like they are really going downhill in their business. Sad to see.

Desired outcome: Nothing just posting in case others are seeing WP going downhill in service.

Warby Parker Glasses

I am having trouble with my lenses constantly fogging up I use spray cleaner and treated cloth but a few minutes after cleaning they are foggy and dirty. I took 2 pairs of glasses with the same problem on Friday 12/2 to the store inside Boca Tiwn Center. The optician in charge told me nothing could be done and was extremely rude. I will no longer be a customer. I have been wearing glasses for years and never had this problem. She didn’t even offer to have them sent back to see if there was a problem

Desired outcome: New Glasses

Warby Parker Sales rep training

To Whom This May Concern:

After shopping extensively for a new pair of glasses, I decided on Warby Parker based on value for money. I purchased a beautiful frame from the Grand Central location. Shortly after, I realized my prescription had expired, so I inquired about scheduling an eye exam. Two reps informed me that Warby excepted my insurance and they would schedule an appointment for me at the 6th Ave location because their store is small and doesn't offer eye exams.

I show up at the 6th Ave location only to be told my EyeMed insurance isn't accepted in New York City. Further, I would be required to pay upfront, and that my insurance company would reimburse me.

After taking time off from work and commuting, I was highly disappointed in what was a wonderful experience. I asked to speak with a manager and was told that all salespeople are managers. Ultimately, I was referred to LensesCrafters, who provided the eye exam and accepted my insurance. They also suggested I purchase my lenses from them because of several dissatisfied Warby Parker customers.

I like the Warby Parker brand; however, I am very dissatisfied with the customer service I received. I have not decided on my progressive lenses yet.

I will await your response.

Kind regards,

William Smith

Warby Parker charged three times over

Hello-

I supplied the Palo ALto Store and the "Customer help" (Hah) people at Warby Parker with the receipt from the credit card showing they had charged me three times over. This is the letter I received in response.

I had already written complaining that a Customer service representative had promised me aa rebate and a pair of sun glasses and that she was making a not. on the request. The Palo ALto tore denied knowing anything about it. All of this happened yesterday, August 29.

Warby Parker Company Policy

I hope this company goes out of business soon. Since they decided to go woke, I hope they go broke. They are so stupid, they just eliminated about half of the country as customers. Warby Parker Political wokism

Warby Parker seems to be bending over (literally) to radical leftist wokatopians who threaten them because of where they place their ads. Working with a leftist who hates transgender people and thinks she can influence cancel culture. Well, if Warby Parker wants to "play" with radicals, they just lost 50% of their customers. Good luck with that.

Desired outcome: Warby Parker just lost 50% of their customer base

Warby Parker don't use them

I have nothing positive to say. Warby Parker doesn't deserve our money. If you want good quality glasses, you better save some money. Warby Parker may seem to be cheaper (even though it's not always true), but their quality leaves much to be desired. So it's a complete waste of money. Plus, they make a lot of mistakes dealing with customers and it's inappropriate. Stay away, please.

What a crap!
High prices for a low-quality junk from China that costs cheaper on any Chinese website.
I got glasses and was terrified by the way they were done. Poor quality, cheap material. They looked like they were from the doctor kit for children... I am very embarrassed to wear this piece of crap. Shame on you for selling this to people and taking money for nothing!
