Our basement drain had started to back up after our tub was drained. We had several neighbors recommend us to Ron's. It was definitely the right call! They were easy to schedule and had great communication from start to finish. Jordan, the tech that came out could not have been more courteous and professional. He explained what he was going to do before starting. Kept things clean from start to finish, provided me a good assessment & recommendations on all the drains and main line to the street. All at a great price for their services. Give them a call with any of your drainage issues. Thanks Ron's.

I had slow draining bathtub and kitchen lines, and a completely clogged bath sink line, Jeff G and trainee Christian arrived shortly into predicted time slot and quickly cleared the bathroom lines, though my bath sink drain presented a few extra challenges, they were up to the task, and got my kitchen line draining better than ever! They were courteous, respectful, honest and professional in handling my needs and the total charge was kept to the minimum. I am satisfied with their service and highly recommend Ron the Sewer Rat to anyone in need! I would definitely call them again for any future service!

Devin arrived on time and called ten minutes before arriving. He was thorough and knowledgeable as to how to start finding our clogged pipe. It involved the drain pipe that went from the second floor to the basement floor, but was not a straight shot. He stayed at the job until it was completely done even though it took twice as long as it could have as in an old house all the drains were interconnected. He kept us informed several times as to what he was doing and what he had found. He was very nice to talk with too. The company kept us informed about our appointment by e-mail prior to our appointment day.

Ron the Sewer Rat is awesome! Hands down they beat the competition in HONESTY AND PRICE! Funny, our neighbor was having their main line cleaned from a competitor while we had a sink drain snaked. The competitors price was TWICE the price…after a discount! Nick, our serviceman was personable, inquired if I wanted him to check anything else out and cleaned the work area after finishing. He explained all their services, but was never pushy. Was very impressed when his work was done, he checked everything, downstairs also, to be sure all was perfect and no leaks…extremely professional. Highly Recommend Nick and Ton the Sewer Rat!

On Thursday my kitchen sink wouldn't drain. On Saturday I was hosting a Celebration of Life for a friend who had passed so was knew I needed a sink for the gathering. Ron the Sewer Rat showed availability on the online scheduler for Tuesday, which was not ideal but I booked it. They called Friday morning first thing and said they could help me Saturday morning. I asked if they could let me know about any cancellations and lo and behold Nick R came Friday afternoon and cleaned out the drain in an efficient and clean manner and saved the day. So - super helpful, know what they're doing, fixed the problem, reasonable rate. Gotta love that.

We have used Ron The Sewer Rat for years. The service and employees are outstanding. Nick was our technician today and again, service and attention to detail were top notch. I also like that after the work is performed, Nick took time to explain what he found when cleaning our main line and any “foreseeable" problems that we might want to stay on top of. Love that whoever comes out, they are very knowledgeable about their service. Whenever someone needs this type of work done, I'm always happy to recommend The Rat. You ALWAYS DELIVER! I used Ron the Sewer Rat service this morning. I was absolutely delighted with Jordan, the tech, and how quickly he arrived and corrected my backed up drain problem. I called at 7:40 a.m to make an appointment. Received a return call from the office at 7:45 a.m. saying the tech could be there between 8 and 10 a.m. Absolutely! At 7:55 a.m. I received a call from Jordan saying that he could be to my home by 8:30 a.m., if that's okay. Yes! He arrived then, hauled in his equipment, unplugged my drain, hauled out his equipment and was gone by 9:45. And he was personable and courteous, too. He earned a decent tip. It's the third time I've used Ron's, and wouldn't call anyone else.

Tim was great! I'm selling my house and the city inspector noted that my basement drain did not have a plug in the cleanout hole. He said I should get that fixed because sewer gas could get into the house that way (or even sewer rats). When Tim arrived, he took the time to look over my entire basement and we discovered that I have 3 drains, two of which did not have plugs in the cleanout hole. In addition, two of the drains were working only through the overflow hole, and not through the trap. He cleaned out both traps and installed both plugs. In finding the additional drains he saved me a bundle, because I'm sure a buyer's inspector would have found them and required that they be fixed.

Trent was polite, professional and good with the hound dog. And, of course, more importantly, he got the job done. He verified that what I thought was needed (clearing floor drain) was actually correct, made sure the main line out wasn't contributing to the problem (it wasn't.) When he was done, he had me watch as he tested the drainage and then answered any additional questions I had. He also went ahead and did a quick snake through the utility sink trap (about 5 ft) at no extra charge, as that sink was draining a bit sluggishly during his final test. Will definitely use them again. Fortunately, my situation wasn't an emergency, but should I have an emergency in the future, it's good to know who to call.

Working with Ron the Sewer Rat was easy and completely satisfactory in every respect. Our drains seemed to be backing up, so I made an appointment with Ron online - and then got a call the next day from their office saying they could send someone a day earlier than we booked. Our tech, Jordan, called half an hour early to say that he could come early if it was OK by us - and of course it was. We got an email from the company before Jordan arrived, with a photo of Jordan and a little blurb about who he is - a really nice touch. Jordan was friendly and efficient. He told me what he was doing every step of the way; found the problem and fixed it; went out of his way to check another drain that had a problem and cleared that, too. I would recommend this company wholeheartedly.

Thank you Devin, I give Devin a 5 only because a 6 is not an option,... He was fantastic, I had had another company come out a few days before, they had me lift the toilet because they didn't want to open the main line and when they came back, couldn't clear the clog. Devin, immediately opened the main line, cleared the line, showed me the entire 140' run of my line, located an access point in my front line and showed me where I was connected to the city line. (Even my city public works didn't know where I was connected.) Devin explained everything as the work progressed. Thank you again Devin, Thank you "Ron the Sewer Rat". I am so satisfied, I could not ask for anything more. I will be needing some faucets changed in the near future and will be calling you. You have won me as a loyal customer

Tim provided excellent customer service. He arrived masked for COVID and took off his shoes before entering the house. He was knowledgeable about drain issues and communicated clearly. I appreciated that he answered all my questions and shared tips on how to prevent debris build up in the drain. In addition to clearing our floor drain, he pointed out a minor code issue that was a quick fix completed within the one-hour rate charge. The company uses technology amazingly well. It's website offers specific pricing info and you can choose your own appointment time online. You get a confirm, reminder, a text when the technician will be on his way — that includes his headshot photo — and a call from the tech when almost there. Plus a follow up for a review. This company is doing customer service right — as well as knowing the business of drains.

Wonderful service! I got an appointment on the same day I called, within a half-hour of my call, really. My technician Devin was very personable and professional, explained costs up front, and performed the work thoroughly and completely. My basement floor drain and my bathtub drain are now free flowing. While fixing the problem I originally called about, Devin found the source of another problem, a leak, for which I will be calling Ron the Sewer Rat's plumbing division. Devin took pictures of the two rotting pipes so the plumbing division would be familiar with problem before the appointment. To keep my drains free flowing Devin told me not to flush dental floss down the toilet, and since I drain my dehumidifier through a hose to the basement drain to once a month pour a bucket of hot water down that drain to clear the greasy dehumidifier water. Devin cleans up very well! All-in-all a great experience. I highly recommend Ron the Sewer Rat!

My husband and I had our main drain cleaned in August. At that time it was an emergency and we went with a friends recommendation. The Company came and did the job, however we were shocked at the steep cost [$425.!] This time, we definitely had another drain issue, however it was not an emergency at this point. I remembered a friend recommending Ron the Sewer Rat. I went on NEXTDOOR to see if there were any other recommendations. It was obvious the Ron the Sewer Rat was a favorite of NEXTDOOR and was highly recommended. My decision was made. I called Monday to schedule an appointment and got a time and date set up for Wednesday morning. Kyle T was my service man and I really liked how the Business identified him by sending me his photo and background information prior to my appointment. Kyle did a fabulous job, and I would give him 10 stars if I could. I recommend this company and will likely be a life long customer. Thanks! Linda G

Original phone call provided me w quote on requested services and time frame for appointment. Received text and call from Christian, technician, 20 minutes before arriving. Christian was very professional in explaining the services after reviewing the wash tub and drain. Communicated throughout the service call and explained our options to remedy the problems. He performed additional work that was required and replaced a corroded elbow and three leaking washers (Christian had me view the leaks during his review). Showed me the drain working after completing the work and cleaned up well. Christian reviewed the itemized invoice with me with pricing, which was considerably less than I expected for the extra work. Ron the Sewer Rat has cleaned drains in two other family members' homes within 6 months and each time we have been totally pleased with them. I'd strongly recommend Ron the Sewer Rat when you have a clogged or slow drain. Efficient, professional and ethical.

My experience with technician Kyle was excellent. He contacted me to discuss arrival and asked where to park, which in my townhouse situation can be dicey. He remained masked throughout the visit. I didn't have a lot of knowledge of my home's plumbing set-up so he was very patient as we looked for access points. He was very careful to keep the "gunky" parts of his equipment contained and used towels and tarps to protect my floors. He was more than willing to have me observe, especially at the scoping stage, and kept me informed as things developed. When my toilet need to be pulled, and it appeared to have been adhered to the tiled floor with more than just caulk, he was very upfront about possible breakage or tiles being pulled up with the toilet. With skill and good fortune, neither happened. As we were wrapping up, I asked him about proper drain maintenance, with an eye towards the floor drain in my laundry area. This was not part of the original call, but he was able to extend time to stay for this add-on and clear it as well, and price was discounted since he was already here. Throughout, he was tidy, helpful and patient. I should also mention the woman with whom I spoke to set up the appointment was a perfect combination of friendly and efficient in hearing me out and getting me set when I called 2/20.
