my book was done but i had no cover. vox illustration came through for me when i needed it most. they made something that really gets to the heart of my writing!

I had clients who needed a book cover that would really capture their story. A buddy recommended Vox Illustration and boy, did they come through! Their work really saved my butt. 5 stars all the way!

again. Vox Illustration was a total letdown. They didn't give me what they said they would and they even took my money without asking. I had to go to my bank to try and get it back, but Vox Illustration lied to make themselves look better. I won't be working with them again.

Vox Illustration took my money and ain't done nothing yet. They said they'd be done in a month but it's been over 6 months now and still nothin'. They ain't even answerin' my emails and their phone ain't workin'. They got some online bot but even that ain't respondin' when it sees my name. It's a real shame and feels like a scam. I need some help gettin' my project done or gettin' my money back. Can someone please help me out?

I paid for some car illustrations, 3 different angles. They worked on one (front and side) but most of the illustrations did not look like my car. They changed the hood and put fender flairs on it. I sent many different pictures so they would know what I wanted. They took those pictures and changed the color and sent them back to me. These were pictures that I got off the internet to show the kind of work I was looking for. I am sure the artist that made these pictures would not be happy about their work being copied. This company has now started a bunch of false claims about me saying I was just out to get free work. I wanted to be nice and let them keep the money for the first illustration because they did do some work and I asked for my money back for the other 2 illustrations they had not started on. I have tons of evidence that shows they have not delivered an acceptable product and I have emails telling them I was not happy right from the beginning and asking for my money back. They have refused to even talk to me about a refund even when they called me on the phone. I will supply the illustrations and all the emails. I also have chat transcripts that can be submitted.

I had 3 short books that I wanted illustrated and formatted to self publish on ***. The first book was done after changing the illustrations to something simpler because they couldn't get my ideas. The 2nd book was submitted 1 and still not published as of 3/2022. I canceled the 3rd book because the 2nd was taking so long. I only got $200 back of $1000. The original price was *** and included formatting, as per their written correspondence. They said it was a different kind of formatting and charged another $500. I asked for my money back after 2 years of not having the 2nd book finished and was told they couldn't do refunds. I've been in contact with them, probably every week for 2 yrs. They have had multiple excuses. A compliance employee contacted me and insisted the book was published a month prior and it had been published without the revisions. After 2 years, they found out they needed to resize the characters and then *** would not accept it. When I sent this information to them, they said it was already published. There has been one excuse after another and always placing blame on someone else. The company is disorganized and is constantly looking for more money. What originally was $*** for 3 books ended up being $3000 for 1 book and over 2 years later no 2nd book. I have all the emails and correspondence to show their ineptness, disorganization, and continued excuses and broken promises. This was advertised as using offshore illustrators to reduce cost. It is true, you get what you pay for. And sometimes you don't even get that.

This company been working on my project since 7/3 and still haven't given me the finished project or files yet. They said I can get a refund, but they not giving it to me. I keep asking for my money back for everything except one picture (I own it, but no files), but they not doing it. The guy (***--) last talked to me on 8/27 and said to look at one more picture before I decide, but I said I want my money back. They not answering my calls and not doing what they said in the contract. I missed my deadlines because of them. Look at their new website, it says "Money Back Guarantee."

I hired Vox Illustrations to make a kids' book with 16 pages and a cover, and I asked for realistic art. They were slow to give me the first draft, and it was a bad design with adults instead of kids. They kept making the same mistakes, and they couldn't draw African Americans. They promised me things they couldn't do, and they charged me too much. I asked for a refund, but they only offered me $800 when they charged me over $400 for a design I didn't like. I offered to pay $100, but they said no. I complained to my bank, but Vox Illustrations lied and said I didn't want a refund. They have bad reviews on Yopto, and they seem to take money from people. They still haven't given me a refund, and I might take legal action against them in NY.

I got into a deal with Vox Illustrations in April for 10 books. They were supposed to help my illustrator with color fills, details, and type setting. I paid $6,200 for the books and $1,700 for type setting. They promised to have at least two illustrators on a book to finish one book per month. My illustrator gave them sketches, color pallets, and detailed notes, but they kept making the same mistakes even after revisions. By December, we only had four pages completed. They copied characters from my illustrator's samples and pasted them without details and with many errors. I asked for a refund, but they begged for several chances. They did the same work with the same mistakes. I managed to save money to pay my illustrator's monthly salary fee to complete some books. I wanted to pitch a series to larger companies, but they keep asking for a series. I'm not rich, and I saved for years to make something culturally responsive for children. I attached the original proposal and a 100% money-back promise.
