Updated review: Using the Apple box, I can finally screen mirror! Thank you! ViX and AppleTV is practically seamless! My suggestions: 1) the guide needs to be improved (the one on BLIM was fabulous and allowed us to see a week ahead. 2) I’d love for Lucero (the most awarded Spanish language actress—including an Emmy) to have her own channel but thankful I can access almost all her novelas. 3) being able to add shows to a “Mi Lista” would be great. 4) keep the scheduling of shows consistent, please. One week a show starts on Monday at 7 and the next week, the same show doesn’t start until 9:20, 5) a heads up when an “on demand” show is going to disappear (you try explaining to your 84 year old abuela why she cannot finish watching “Los Parientes Pobres). Glad to add 2 stars and thank you for the email address where I can send the above suggestions.

This app is constantly pissing me off.. I gotta say there’s lots of good options but there’s no search bar the “my list” doesn’t save things you’re watching and the “continue watching” does not work as well.. so to continue where you left off you have to go find the Novela you were watching scroll through allllll the episodes and find where you left off and if you were half way there’s no way around those ANNOYING adds.. I wish it could keep up if you already watched the adds of allow you to rewind or fast forward more easily without wasting so much of my time just to figure out where I was.. it’s annoying that it doesn’t record where you left off.. I sometimes waste up to 30 minutes just trying to find where I left off and dealing with the ads cause there’s no way around them once they start.. it actually has a bunch of glitches I wish they would fix

Siempre batallas mucho para poder iniciar sesión en la aplicación, cuando logras acceder a ella y quieres ver un partido de fútbol como en mi caso que es por que tengo esta app te ponen automáticamente 3 comerciales de más de 30 segundos cada uno e inexplicablemente es una aplicación en la que pagas por ver ósea no es gratis y aún así te ponen 3 comerciales al principio, entiendo qué hay comerciales en la programación normal no que te encajen 3 directamente para ver, ya cuando acabaron los comerciales ( esos comerciales nunca fallan sin pausas o fallas de señal, salen claros y limpios) por cierta fortuna no se conecta al canal del juego y tienes que volver al inicio para que otra vez te salgan 3 comerciales mas… es la peor aplicación de streaming que existe, tengo varias y puedo decir con firmeza que esta es la peor, lastima que no puedo poner 0 estrellas

I have recently updated the app from Prende Tv and I can say I’m disappointed. I have ViX in my Roku and my phone. I hate that since yesterday’s update the app on the Roku keeps kicking me out. I’m watching a show and it just kicks me off and it’s so annoying that I have to go back in and scroll through all the on demand line up and start all over each and every time. I doesn’t have a serch bar and it doesn’t have the continue watching option which Prende Tv did have. Also it needs to be able to connect to AirPlay I’ve been trying to airplay to my LG smart tv and it just shows it loading and never does. Since the app is not available on the LG smart Tv which is another disappointment. I think this app needs a lot of work still to make it five stars. The line up is great but the streaming itself lacks so much. I believe that Prende Tv was better before it became ViX.

Se detiene con los comerciales y empiezan desde el principio cada capítulo de lo que sea que estes viendo. Tampoco muestra lo que ya viste o sea no hay una continuidad automática , si ves una novela tienes que saber en qué capítulo te quedaste porque cuando regreses no va a estar ahí, y ni hablar de los comerciales que los repiten hasta 4 veces seguidas el mismo comercial ni siquiera los alternan simplemente lo peor aplicación que e tenido, es como una copia muy mala de ATRESplayer pero muyyy mala. Me parece increíble que esté tan mala programada ‍♀️‍♀️. Cuando te ponen los comerciales regresa al principio y cuando intentas colocarlo donde te quedaste vuelven a ponerte la pausa comercial nuevamente , puedes estar 10 minutos tratando de colocarte donde se quedo y sorpresa te vuelven a poner los comerciales y te vuelven a regresar ala principio. Un desastre

The movie navigation bar doesn't work well- it's hard to navigate content. (Switch to Apple's please - it's WAY better)

The Pantaya app is WAY better. You should can this Vix+ app and use Pantaya's instead.

OR- Fix your Vix+ app!

PAID SUBSCRIBERS expect more than a half-baked app if you intend on keeping them.

I don't like leaving bad reviews (disculpe) but I REALLY HOPE you will fix all of these VIX+ app shortcomings.

Or just let me log into Pantaya with my Vix+ credentials - Pantaya has an excellent app!

I have watched some movies here, so I’ll say it has potential. Although the UX is not user friendly at all. I’ll mention some things should be improved:

1. There is no search bar
2. The “Mi Lista” does not saves movies you choose, instead saves the category the movie is on.
3. Once you choose a movie to watch the volume is too low even if the volume on my device is over half of it. But when the adds are playing they are way too high so I have to lower the volume.
4. Once you are watching a movie on the Apple TV the controls are not user friendly neither. If you want to pause the movie you have to look for the controls, same for the 10 seconds back or forward.
5. If you go back to main menu once you started to watch a movie and then decide to continue watching that movie it starts all over again instead of continuing where you left off.

This review will continue once I find out more about this new app...

Love this app and all that’s on there, but it gets frustrating because it never shows where I leave off. I always have to search for the show and scroll through to select the episode I left off on. Sometimes I’m lucky and starts where I left off, but for the most part, it takes me back to episode 1. When watching on the tv app, I have to exit out of the show and manually go to the next episode after the first episode I watch that day because it’ll jump right back to the 1st episode rather than continuing onto the next. After that, it continues to the next one without me having to select the episode myself. It gets really frustrating, especially when I am paying for no ads and am not use to having to remember where I left off. It also doesn’t let me skip some intros. Hopefully these issues get fixed soon because it makes me want to cancel my subscription as soon as I finish my mom and I’s shows. It would also be nice to be able to set up profiles like other streaming devices.

I enjoy the selection of all the old novelas I grew up watching. However this app has so many technical glitches it’s ridiculous. If it was free ok understandable but I pay for the monthly membership so it’s beyond frustrating. I almost always have to remember where I left off and select the episode because even tho it’s on my keep watching list it’ll play episode one. Or it continues on the episode I left off on but with the audio of the first episode. Among other little annoying technical glitches.

Disfruto la selección de todas las novelas antiguas que crecí viendo. Sin embargo, esta aplicación tiene tantos fallos técnicos que frustra a cualquiera. Si fuera gratis, es comprensible, pero pago la membresía mensual, por lo que es más que frustrante. Casi siempre tengo que recordar dónde lo dejé y seleccionar el episodio porque aunque esté en mi lista de seguir viendo, reproducirá el episodio uno. O continúa en el episodio que dejé pero con el audio del primer episodio. Entre otros pequeños fallos técnicos molestos.

Gracias, por su respuesta, solo un pequeño detalle, trabajen en la secuencia de programas vistos, en programas seriados, tengo que avanzar a los episodios siguientes por que siempre me lleva a los que ya vi días atrás.

Se que están haciendo todo lo posible por tener un streaming de lo mejor, si es posible, aumentar la calidad de la imagen, hay programas que han sido grabados en alta definición y aquí esos mismos programas les falta eso.

Pero sí, es una aplicación que me encanta.

Julio 24, 2022 me gusta ViX +, pero cada vez que veo alguna serie tengo que regresar al primer episodio y checar en qué episodio me quede, me empieza a fastidiar, Tanto en mi iPhone como en mi smart tv, la aplicación se resetea varias veces indicándome que tengo que suscribirme, aún cuando lo hice, creo que les faltan muchos detalles por mejorar, no me gustaría pagar por algo que No me está satisfaciendo. Mensaje anterior : Me gusta la aplicación, tiene demasiadas opciones, solo un pequeño detalle, no puedo transmitir con mi chromcast, a mi televisor

Honestly I could not contain my excitement when I realized it has all the soaps you cannot find anywhere else or had to settle for horrible quality in YouTube, lol.
They have the original “el clon”, llena de amor, sortilegio, rebelde, cuidado con el ángel, all the iconic soaps Maria la del barrio, la intrusa, and so much more.

Downside:
Some soaps it doesn’t matter if you are subscribed you still get ads
Also, you can not create list of your favorite content and programs for you to access later or for quick access. Instead you always have to search for them. However, I have not had any problem with streaming yet so that is good. They have so much content from Hispanic TV that I cannot help but say this is what they should have done a while ago. Thank you Vix!

If you could add the options of saving the programs and novelas to a personal list for the on demand content that would be fantastic. I have to say it is really tedious to have to search for the content and hope it shows up. Thank you!

Overall, really exited about this app it has great new content and amazing old content ❤️

I have never had such a horrible experience with an app. There’s not search bar on the mobile app. On the Apple TV app they have a search bar but when you search something, it only shows you random videos without the option to add it to your list( which isn’t a list just a recently played). And when search and click a video it only lets you play that episode and not search through the other episodes for the chosen show. I don’t even care about commercials. But my god there is no organization. For every show: Add an option to click on the show and be shown the episode available. Most other apps like Netflix have an “i” for information on the show which then sends you to the rest of the episodes.

If you make an account, allow the user to add shows to a list. The first thing people should see is the recently played shows/movies so they can pick back up.

On the mobile app, some movies show the total playing time which blocks the actual name of the movie. That’s not necessary. Just show it after they click on the movie. And I would suggest not automatically playing the movie. Allow them to see some information about the movie “description, play time, rating”

La app tiene potencial porque tiene muchos programas y telenovelas excelentes. Lo malo es que prácticamente te quieren obligar a pagar la suscripción con tal de que no te coman a comerciales… cada 5-10 mins hay de 3-8 comerciales a la vez… es cierto que no duran tanto y también es cierto que necesitan poner comerciales para sostener la app pero es que se pasan… hay muchas apps que ponen programas de gratis al igual y ponen solamente 1-2 comerciales por episodio pero no esta cantidad que ponen aqui. Es simplemente frustrante y cuesta avanzar en las novelas que uno pone con tantos comerciales… lo peor es que ponen tantos comerciales sangrones y muy repetidos. En fin, ojala algun dia tomen en cuenta lo que los televidentes opinan y nos escuchen y hagan algunos cambios.

11/10/22- Desde que escribí mi primer review solo han empeorado lo de los comerciales. Solo puedo ver 5 mins de mi novela y luego me dan racha de 8 comerciales uno atrás del otro y asi… son mas los comerciales que lo que puedo disfrutar de ver nada. Me angustia muchísimo. No pienso pagar una suscripción solo para evitar comerciales y menos cuando siento que lo hacen adrede. Si siguen así creo que borro la app y ya.

I really like this app. Has tons of good novelas for free. Lots of reviews are saying there’s too much ads but i don’t mind them they’re not too long and I understand there has to be ads for it to be free. The problem with this app is that there’s no search bar to search for the novelas or movies you want to watch or are watching. You have to look through all the sections to find them instead of searching. Another problem you should be able to have a watch list where you add what show you are watching or want to watch, i’m currently watching a novela and would like to be able to get to it through a list, I know you’re able to do that with movies but with shows you are only able to add episodes to a watch list not the whole show itself. There is also a continue watch section where something you’ve started appears where you left off, my only problem with this is that when watching an episode to a show and you play it from continue watching you are not able to get to the next episode through there, you have to exit and find the show and play the next episode yourself, it would be better is the next episode played on its own. Also i’ve been having a problem that when you play something from the continue watching and the next time you get and ad it doesn’t continue from the place it’s supposed to after the ad it starts to continue from the place it left at when you started it from the continue watching.

Baje la aplicación hace unos meces porque me gusta mucho el programa de “una familia de 10” en un principio estaba muy bien hasta que termine de ver todos los episodios disponibles, qué pasó después? Nada! Que la serie volvió a empezar! Deje de ver la por unos días pensando que pondrían episodios nuevos y nada! La serie seguía con los mismos episodios una y otra y otra vez :( Nuevamente deje de ver el programa por unos días y ahora que quise ver (otra vez los mismos episodios) me encuentro con que la aplicación hizo un update Y AHORA TENGO QUE PAGAR POR VER LOS MISMOS EPISODIOS!
Y si quiero ver episodios nuevos, tengo que suscribirme porque de lo contrario no puedo ver más de 3 episodios gratis! Solo los tres primeros episodios son gratis !
Qué pasó con eso de “ ve tus programas favoritos completamente gratis “? Y encima de todo, ponen los mismos comerciales una y otra y otra vez, ya cámbienle!
No está bien que hagan esto, están obligado a la gente a hacer algo que no está bien, hablen claro desde un principio, para que voy a pagar por ver los mismos episodios, si los puedo ver en la televisión, gratis! La razón por la que baje la aplicación, fue solo porque podría llevar mi tableta a cualquier parte de la casa donde no tengo televisor y ver algo que me hacía reír, ahora, gracias a su mente materialista eso se termino para mi, seguiré usando Netflix ( por el cual pago menos, no tiene comerciales y también tiene programas y películas en español) Gracias por arruinar la experiencia VIX+

Cuando empeze haber este app no había comerciales ahora ya los agregaron y dirán demasiado totalmente desacuerdo .
También cuando estas viendo algo si te sales cuando regresas haberlo no graba el último capítulo que estabas viendo te regresa al primero . Cuando estas viendo los shows se para de repente y te saca de la aplicación y de nuevo te regresa al primer capítulo . También no graba lo que estabas viendo en la opción que tienen de seguir viendo tienes que ir a buscar el show y escribir el nombre todo el tiempo en buscar . Ya Es frustrante todo eso y ahora con comerciales una razón más para cancelar .

I don’t know how to leave a review for an Amazon Fire TV for this app, so here it is in the App Store. Your app is INCREDIBLY POORLY OPTIMIZED for AFTV. On several occasions, I have to RESET MY TV to FACTORY SETTINGS in order for the app to offer mediocre playback of the telenovela I want to see. This has happened while watching Abismo de Pasión and Amores Verdaderos, and it’s honestly insulting that you’d allow an app to be so poorly tested to play videos on Amazon Fire TV.

FIX THIS ASAP! I’m trying to spend quality time with my family, and all I’m doing is resetting my tv to factory settings every day.

It offers a lot of games, yes and from South America as I like BUT their connectivity with AirPlay is terrible, I have all the apps and all of them have no problem displaying in my TV, bUt Vix doesn’t work at all, AT ALL, I used 4 different phones and nothing and worst of all they don’t even offer connectivity with Chrome Cast. I don’t see the reason why offer it for free if the developing is faulty, you tried to cover so much but the most basic won’t work. You should expect better results for a company with the backing/banking you have. Glad you don’t charge, not worth paying as soccer can only be watched on mobile.

Es imposible ver alguna película de 2 horas imagínense una serie pongo una estrella por caridad y por que no me deja otra opción tengo Netflix y quise ver lo que a tanta propaganda le dan y ya veo que no es de gratis por que a los desarrolladores les pagan por moléstanos con esos horribles comerciales que falta de respeto

Esta aplicación es la peor aplicación streaming que e bajado en mi vida. Pago mensual para ver partidos de fútbol, y siempre salen anuncios durante los partidos, entonces nunca puedo ver a los partidos enteros. Hoy, intente ver un partido en mi teléfono, pero no sirvió. Salieron 5 anuncios y cuando se terminaron los anuncios, quedó la pantalla en negro en vez de dar la transmisión del partido. Cuando intente a mirar el partido en la televisión, el audio estaba unos segundos atrasados que el vídeo, entonces no pude disfrutar del partido. No les recomiendo esta aplicación, si quieren ver los partidos de fútbol, mejor bajen a Paramount+.

Since pantaya merged with ViX, I haven’t been able to log into my account. I’ve been trying over and over again to log into my account with the instructions they gave me without any luck. I got a hold of a representative on chat, but they weren’t able to help as well. She told me my account might not be in their system yet, and to try again later. I’ve been locked out of my account for over a month now. There’s no actual customer service department to be able to talk to a live individual. I’ve been a customer of pantaya for a few years now, but don’t think I’ll renew my subscription in July. That is if I’m ever able to get into my account.

The content the app offers is great. The biggest issue I have with it is that you can’t create an account. There’s no recently watched option within the app. It makes it irritating to have to search for the show you’re watching every time. You can chose the on demand option and scroll all the way down pass all the other shows that I don’t care at the moment. And you might find the show you’re watching. But every once in a while the show/movie will not show up in the on demand list. Please please please create a recently watched, or continue watching option. And make it posible to create an account, so people can watch their shows on multiple devices.

There’s way too many ads and they come on too frequently like every 5 minutes. And the worse part is that there’s 5-8 ads per break which is too much and some of them are a minute long. I got excited to get this app but the ads make it too difficult too watch and annoying. A few every once in a while would be ok since it’s a free app, but a bunch of them every few minutes is ridiculous so I’m getting rid of it. Also, another inconvenience is that I was almost done watching an episode and it didn’t save my progress when I went back to finish it. And of course you have to sit through a bunch of ads to get to the spot you were in. Oh and there’s no way to search for a specific title either. Not worth it.

Honestly, I love the content but the app is horrible. It glitches so much and kicks me out. Then when I go back to my episode it takes me somewhere else like it has another episode playing. At times literally takes me 5 minutes to get to where I was at. I got so annoyed with it on my television that I downloaded the app on my phone thought it would solve my problems. Wrong! I couldn’t watch the episode I wanted because it didn’t even show up. My understanding is I had to watch the series from the beginning to get to the episode I wanted. That is ridiculous! Plus, quality is not great. Please fix this the streaming app has all the content to be great but tech issues get in the way for me to love this.

Como siempre miles de anuncios e interrupciones son los únicas apps las latinas Univisión, Telemundo etc que no los ha llegado el memo que la gente no quiere anuncios. Siguen con el sistema de 1970 si otros pueden ofrecer subscripciones y ofrecer calidad sin anuncios porque no pueden hacer lo mismo. Investigar otras avenidas de ingreso quizá el pago mensual en lugar de tanto anuncio. Lastima que no tengamos opciones latinas de calidad y sigamos en la edad de piedra con anuncios continuos cada programa que ves. Es mejor esperar a que otros como Hulu o Netflix ofrezcan series así por lo menos puede uno disfrútalas sin tanta interrupción. Que bueno q tenemos otras opciones pero que triste porque uno quisiera ver el contenido en aplicaciones latinas.

I don’t understand how this app is unable to track any progress I’ve made on the telenovela I watch. I created a ViX account to watch on my Roku and it doesn’t matter whether you have an account or not; it’s a bad app. I constantly have to do a fresh search for my show because it doesn’t remember that I’ve watched over 60 episodes of one novela. If that’s not bad enough, it randomly logs me out. How do they expect anyone to get a premium account if the free version is so bad?

The content is decent, though I wish they had a wider selection of old Venezuelan novelas like Cristal or Rubí with Mariela Alcalá. They have La Intrusa 1986-87 version which is outstanding. But what’s the use of having good content if the app makes it impossible to watch any of it?

Please avoid this app at all costs if you’re thinking about joining ViX +. I canceled over a month ago and they’re still trying to charge me. I contacted customer service and they’re refusing to cancel whatever is pending. I sent them screenshots and video as proof and they’re denying everything. If this continues I will have to take it on my own hands.

Por favor no agarren su subscription de VIX +. Yo cancele hace mas de un mes y ah un así me están cobrando. Nome dejan cerrar mi cuenta! Ya contacté ah customer service y nome quieren ayudar. Lo que les interesa es estar robando el dinero de uno! Según los de customer service tengo my cuenta activada cuando ya les mande comprobantes de que todo fue cancelado pero ellos lo están negando. Muy mal servicio son un fraude!

This app is super glitchy. Orientation is off. When I try to flip it for wide screen sometimes it works others it shut off and I have to start all over.
This wouldn’t be that big of a problem but it takes forever to open. There is no search option. So if I’m watching a novela on demand I have to go to on demand then find novelas scroll through them all then fond mine. Again this takes forever. Then once all episodes load I scrolls through to find the one I’m on. You need a drop down menu here. Then I select Ku episode. Sometimes it remembers where I left off others not. Then horizontal sometimes doesn’t work and Im back at zero again and must start over. Please work on search options and drop down menus. Also my lom had fire tablet and it doesn’t have the app on that tablet. Dry frustrating.
