I have had problems with Vivint Home Security System since the day it was installed (May 24th 2022). At first the front door security lock wouldn't lock. Next the system would frequently indicate that it was offline but our WIFI would be working fine. Then the living room camera would stop working and this was very upsetting to our children because they wouldn't be able to see if we were alright since we both are elderly and I have a gait problem and my husband can't walk at all. Then the back door sensor started going off every minute, 24hrs a day. It was giving a false signal that someone was in our back yard. At one point and time all the cameras stopped working. When I would call Vivint they would try troubleshooting on the phone but never completely fixed the problems.

One night the front door sensor unlocked the front door by itself.

A representative called me in May of this year and asked how was we enjoying our Vivint Security System. I told him it haven't worked properly since it was installed. He said he would be sending someone out to check it but we are now in June 2023 and no one have been out yet.

When I talk to someone on the phone and they try troubleshooting, either they don't know how to fix the problem or they can't. They also have reps that have limited English whereas it's very hard to understand them. Most of them must be working from home because I can hear dogs barking and children crying.

I have asked Vivint several times to send someone out that can fix the system. They tell me I'll have to pay a $90.00 fee for someone to come out. I don't think I should since they never installed it properly. Our son (Terrence) is paying good money for this system to ensure our safety.

We are so disappointed in this company that we must take additional steps to try to get the system working properly.

PLEASE HELP! DESPERATE

Desired outcome: and have them refund my son some of his payments since they are liable for us not having a proper working Security System.
