Today I went to purchase one bottle Liposomal 60 capsules. I attempted to use my debit card, the clerk said to try again. It didn't go through. I made a second attempt and still it didn't go through. I said that's ok I'll pay cash. The clerk told me I am due for a Reward in $15.00. I said ok I want to use it.
I felt disturbed about not being able to use my card especially after I made a deposit earlier that day. So as soon as I went home, I checked my Bank Of Hawaii online transaction. I was upset, that there was four transactions made to my account. Each totaling $16.71. There was two reversals each totaling $16.71. So in essence I was charged $33.42 which I should not have been charged. I paid cash plus the $15.00 reward I earned.
I called the Vitamin Shoppe explained what happened. The clerk said they show that their was one transaction amd it was reversed. I told her I wil call the bank tomorrow when they open. Tried to explain to her that my bank alerts me or stops a transaction if its suspicious. She told me to get a statement from my bank as proof. I am now concerned if that clerk underhandedly tried to scam my Card. If this is true, I will press charges against her and if that Hilo store was complicit.
Please help me remedy this problem. I go to that store a lot and I spend a whole lot of money there. I am so disappointed in the customer service that took place today.
