H Review updated:

Vendor is located in Austraila and filled order #861739 for Advantage for Dogs on 4/14/09. The product made both of my dogs sick and when we checks with Bayer who manufacturers the product, we were told that this product is not licenses to be shipped to the USA. Vetshoppe said that they would refund money on the product if we paid for return shipping which costs over $24 to ship to Austraila with a delvery confirmation. We tried to get Vetshoponline to pay for the postage and they refuse.

    I recently purchased bravecto which works for 3 months with one chewable tablet it was $58 that included shipping I received it in a matter of 2 and a 1/2 weeks which was very fast it has worked so far I'm about to buy the other 1 which says me a trip of $220 of going to the vet I appreciate them very much for their courteousness and their drive to help customers in the best way that they can thanks again vet shop Max I will continue to use you for years to come

    I recently purchased bravecto for my Papipom and it has worked beautifully 😍. It last for 3 months and it's a chewable thank u vet shop max now I don't have to spend $250 to go to a vet.

    I've been using very shop online for several years and have had no problems at all. I agree vets just want extra money to test yearly for heartworm because you didn't buy it from them. My cats and dogs have never had flea or parasites of any kind.

    There are certain flea drop meds out there that are known to have caused bad reactions in a lot of animals. I don't remember which ones exactly, but they were issued here in the US.

    I've ordered from them without any problems. Revolution - for cats and dogs - always worked with no negative reaction. I did not know about the name change until I just now went to re-order. I knew they were in Australia. They do not require pointless testing there before issuing the medicine like they do here in the US which is why I order from them. Wish the US would catch on to vets just wanting to pad their wallets with a bunch of unnecessary blood tests. My dogs/cats are on heartworm preventative year-round. This is to PREVENT heartworm. Why the heck to I need a test (that often times isn't even accurate) before I can get the medication? Makes NO sense. About to place my order again. Once I find the correct website.

    I ordered revolution for my cats from them multiple times and always wondered why it did not seem to help. I contacted them once and got no reply. They are fraudulent. Now their name is vetshopmax. They evidently changed their name because people are beginning to catch on to their scam. Think of all the poor animals they have hurt by their scheming rip offs. Do not buy from vetshoponline or vetshopmax. They are cin artists and whoever wrote these defenses are lying.

    @Galeflower vetshopmax and vetshoponline are the same company... I think vetshoponline was an older name but still in use, they are not hiding from it as you suggest since it takes you to the same site. There is nothing fraudulent or even unusual about having multiple domain names. You should be more circumspect about accusing people of fraud and lying.

    For the past 6 years I have ordered and received heartworm protection and flea and tick medicine from vetshoponline, with never a single problem. Their delivery is fast, our dog has had excellent heartworm exams, and I have discovered 1 (one) dead flea on him during that time.
    I can't speak to their customer service because I've never needed to call them.
    That's been my experience with them so far.

    I have ordered over $3000 of heart prevention, flea and tick medicines and other products from vet shop for over 12 years for my 5 Irish Setters, and have always received fast delivery, and exactly what I ordered at a much lower cost than any other site online. I came to this site to make another purchase when I read this complaint. Please disregard this complaint as completely unfounded. He obviously does not know how to shop online and diagnosis his own pets illness short of taking it to a Veterinarian.
    Thank you Vet shop for your continued online site. Now I will make my order with complete confidence again.

    My husband ordered over 500.00 dollar's worth of dog flee and heart worm protection. All the links to your site to view our account stats keeps bring us back to a search. We feel scared its been over a Month and we still have not received our flee and heart worm protection chews. My husband received a email stating our shipment was shipped UMMM that was 3 weeks ago! Here it is May 6 2014 and still waiting. We may take it further if we don't receive it soon! We have been ordering pet supplies online for years and never went through this. Does it really take that long to ship to the US? I have had packages coming from China sooner.

    @Lovemy3Dogs I've been ordering my dog medication from them for about a decade. Once, the package did not arrive so I notified them and they immediately sent a replacement. Wouldn't you know it, both packages arrived at about the same time, one took 3 weeks, the other nearly 3 months! Lesson learned, order early. I allow 2 months to Canada.

    It is almost scary the effort that some clearly disturbed individual
    from vetshoponline (probably the owner or his wife if I had to guess)
    has posted almost absolutely every comment disagreeing with the
    complaint... REALLY? Hate
    to tell you Kelly Price, Terry Cooper, Michael Jones (At least find some
    less generic names, seriously.. you are an idiot) coupled with the fact
    that after this they make sure (posting as themselves for once) to
    mention that that "First and foremost, we do not engage in writing
    positive comment about ourself and our services on any website." all
    you're doing is making absolutely apparent to everyone that sees this
    website that you are absolutely the fraud you appear to be, and your
    "devout fake customer base " that posts the same essential information
    almost verbatim over and over is not helping you. Neither does your
    feeble minded attempt to make your "fake customers" seem more legitimate
    by having them also say they "had some problems with the website" but
    otherwise things were just peachy...please stop hurting peoples pets..
    and get some psychological help.

    I have order before and it was alright but this time. It is so bad my grandkids are getting bit now. I have used frontline plus for years I called they said to mail back . I have to pay for that. But in the same time my little dog is the one who is have fleas all over her after putting it on two weeks ago.
    They said my dog must have changed for the Frontline not to work.

    I have ordered from and have been pleased with their service. I receive exactly what I ordered in a timely fashion. My dog has never gotten sick and their Frontline Plus has always worked for him. He can't live without it! He has terrible flea bite sensitivity and their product cleared it right up the first time and has kept him comfortable for a couple of years now.

    I just made the mistake of ordering from not realizing it is out of Australia. You need to publish this fact, in large print, on your HOME PAGE, not some "guarantee" page somewhere that no one looks at. Most people don't have time to read the fine print. I've spent half my day already looking for a good, reputable discount pet med site only to once again, be take for a ride. I've already been RIPPED OFF by "JOE'S PET MEDS" out of New Zealand, who sold me FAKE It seems us honest, trusting people need some type of Frontline to protect US from THEM. I'm so sick of crooks and shysters. If your company is not in America, MAKE IT CLEAR TO BEGIN WITH. I'm calling Visa right now and stopping payment on this.

    We are sorry to read your complaint here Mr Lefkowitz. And we would like to clarify a few things.

    Unlike other dubious comments (which led us to spend minimal amount of time here), Mr Lefkowitz case is real. His order number indeed is legitimate.

    Mr Lefkowitz ordered Advantage for Extra Large 12 months package amounting $101.85 that inclusive of $4.95 of shipping.

    He made the order on the 14 April 2009 we shipped it out on the 16 April. On the 14 May he called and here are the excerpt of our customer service notes handling the issue

    "Mr Lefkowitz called stating that he called Bayer and they said the product is illegal in the USA. Cx was informed that the use of the website and sale of the products is governed by the laws of Queensland and Australia. Informed customer if he is unsatisfied with the product kindly send it to the address on the website. The customer said he is not going to send any product to Australia because it is too expensive. Customer also said he will have a lawsuit against us because it is an illegal transaction. Customer also said his dogs got sick from the product. Please advise".

    The matter was then cascaded to a Manager and by the 17 May (weekend) Mr Lefkowitz $101.85 was fully refunded

    Here is an excerpt of the reversed transaction

    [email protected] A refund of $101.85 has been processed."

    We thought we have solved the matter until we were informed about this complaint on the net.

    Upon investigation, we learnt and resigned to accept that we cannot satisfied every customer that we have dealt with. However we have honestly tried in every way to make Mr Lefkowitz, like all other customers, happy. We are shocked to see his damning comment here whilst receiving a full refund and we have not even insisted for the 12 pippette to be returned back to us - which would be, strictly, our policy.

    Whatever caused Mr Lefkowitz's dog to be sick was unfortunate and arguable. We have sold plenty of the similar spot on flea meds of various brands, this is the first case we ever come across. But we didn't go there with Mr Lefkowitz. But to give a benefit of a doubt, every spot on meds (even all meds) has its unlikely side effect.

    Here is an excerpt of our product description on that specific product that Mr Lefkowitz bought.

    Advantage flea medication for dogs is for external use on dogs 8 weeks or older. Consult a veterinarian before using on medicated animals, animals using this product with other pesticides and debilitated or aged animals. Advantage is safe for use on pregnant and lactating animals. This product causes eye irritation in humans and is harmful if swallowed. Avoid contact with the skin. Seek medical attention if swallowed. If on skin, wash with plenty of soap and water. If in eyes, flush with plenty of water.

    Possible Side Effects
    Individual sensitivities, while rare, may occur after using any pesticide product for pets. If signs persist, or become more severe, consult a veterinarian immediately."

    In our Guarantee page,, it states clearly that we sourced our product outside USA, so that we could offer the best deal and the best products to the pet owners. And on the same page, we said it would be hassle-free refund. And Mr Lefkowitz were promptly and FULLY refunded. An email was sent to Mr Lefkowitz on the 17 May to inform him that we have fully refunded him. And on the 22 May, Mr Lefkowitz decided to write the complaint.
