I took my daughters kitten to this emergency place because she was not eating or drinking water for 2 days. Called to find out how long of a wait I would have and was told about a hour. Took kitten on saturday [protected]. Called when I got there at 6:15 and gave them the information bout the kitten. Thy told me it would be about ann hour wait. Sat in the parking lot for 3 hours before they called us in. Took kitten inside and they put us in a room and took her weight and temperature and was told it was a little high. Told me they were going to let the doctor know we were there. Sat in room waiting for doctor to come in and 25 minutes later the vet finally came in. He was a very young guy and checked her out and told me how much this was going to cost me before he ever looked at the kitten. On intial exam he said he didn't really find anything wrong with her. Told me that he could take an exray but he didn't think that would show anything because of her size and weight. I told him that I believe there is a blockage in her because not eating or drinking. He said she was dehydrated and that he could give her a shot and that I should just take her home for the rest of the weekend and that they would be there on sunday, but were closed on monday. If she still hadn't ate by then to bring her back on tuesday. We'll i'm not vet but I know if an animal doesn't eat or drink anything for 5 days that alot more things can go wrong with it. I feel the $197.00 dollars that I had to pay them that they didn't really care for my daughters kitten they were just interested in my credit card. Will never go back to that place ever again. I feel that an emergency hospital would get your pet looked at in timly manor and not just say to come back if need to. I was there for over 4hours waiting to hear to just come back if I need to. Took the kitten to another place on monday [protected] and seen a second vet and they took an exray of the kitten and told me she needed surgery because she had a blockage in her intestines. She had surgery the following day and is doing great today. Like I said I feel that all they are interested in is taking your money and if your pet lives or dies it's no big deal to them.
