We had our car MOT and Serviced on the 8th of June 2026. Three faults were found that required fixing. We understand that parts were ordered and we have been told some of them are there and some are on back order. Please could you tell us if there us any date of delivery for these parts as it will be 9 weeks on Tuesday that we have been waiting and our patience is wearing thin.
We might point out that we are 75 and 70 years old and disabled and have limited use of our car. Is anyone actively pursuing the matter?
If not why not.
We bought the car last July 2025 and have only done just over 2000 miles in it. We never envisaged this happening when we bought it cash. Pensioners cash I might add.
We took out additional warranty with RAC who have agreed on the repairs. I believe the hold up is that we have genuine Vauxhall spares. If Vauxhall parts are not available in the future, why can you not use spares off a reputable motor factor? We rely on our car for drs and hospital visits which are not possible.
As customers of 20+ years we feel let down by the lack of urgency in this matter.
Please can you explain the above and sort our car out whichever way you can.
We might add that we will not buy off Thurlow Nunn again and will never buy another Vauxhall car.
Desired outcome: Sort our car out or change it!
