Terrible admin, and the previous admins were white as well. How bout some diversity. Also, how can she admin pickering, ajax, whitby, oshawa, and probably other areas as well? That is not representation, and presents inequality.

Originally around 2016, I used my real facebook account and because I am paranoid online, I made extra sure to be nice and patient with people on the site. Yet, somehow my account was revoked? I'm not even sure because I never got a warning. *technically been a member from 2016 to 2022

I tried making other accounts one in 2020, and later.

Helpdesk is useless. And now apparently you have to give government ID with your birthdate to verify your identity. Admins aren't supposed to ask this but they do by heavily implying it. You could say they ask for it.

Anyways, during my time on the site this is what happened to me or what I experienced below.

Covid 2020- members making racist china remarks and these members were never revoked access.

-misinformation spreading, members insulting others

-heck, there was an old lady that was being discriminative

Other times-

I got harassed by a buyer once who messaged me every single minute and it made me cry because it caused me stress.

member no showed me and still has an account till this day... guess what he is white

Because I didnt want to sell to someone I got negative praise or insulted via messages.

admins always claimed they needed evidence yet they themselves could do whatever they wanted. I dealt with an admin once who wanted to buy something from me... they took forever to respond but because they were admin I waited out of fear that my account would be revoked

Its a frigging buy and sell site supposively for locals yet, most members mislead where they actually live and most aren't willing to travel

Wall-shaming-

people constantly wall shame other members instead of dealing with issues like adults in private

one member got doxxed? (term?), he did nothing wrong. The buyer was petty and stalked him on FB and phoned his place of work and to top it off posted in discussion on VS where he worked and his occupation.

I AM AFRAID TO USE MY REAL IDENTITY BECAUSE THERE ARE MEMBERS WHO WILL STALK YOU OVER NOTHING. So many petty buyers or sellers. ADMIN does nothing.

KARROT IS 100% better, why? easy to make and account and the location for posting is actually local. Best part no admin. Ive learned with social media gorups for buying/selling, most moderators or admins are toxic
