Where do I begin?!
Basically, During a time when a person would need empathy & sensitivity the most these people only added to the already painstaking experience.

There was a huge lack of communication between the staff and myself. I am the wife of the patient. I asked them on a daily basis could they please have somebody call me and fill me in on what's going on…This never happened. I wasn't even called when he was extubated. Instead I showed up and they told me that I couldn't visit with him and the next day he was suffering from delirium and wouldn't see me.

- Blatant disrespect for communicated wishes of both the patient and the spouse. There was a ton of research provided to family members from other doctors who have successfully treated Covid patients. The information was disregarded and downplayed as if it was against the hospital's "policies".
Because of this my husband was in the hospital for way longer than he should've been he suffered from delirium and is still sufferering from delirium, for who knows how long. He is not the same man, And the worst part is that it could've been avoided if the staff knew or cared about what the hell they were doing.

These were some of the rudest and unprofessional people I have ever dealt with especially in a hospital.

Every single one of the staff that I encountered Could significantly benefit from more training or guidance. Also, the patient obviously are uneducated or unable to do research because the medication that I had requested for my husband over and over again would have had him out of there way quicker. This is according to the published peer studies that were done on the medication that the hospital lied to me about

Desired outcome: Training , better treatment of patients and ,having some respect for the families
