I stayed with my dog at the La Quinta Inn in Casper, Wyoming on the night of June 11. At check in I was charged a pet deposit to cover any pet damages, which I paid. On check out I was not notified of any additional charges resulting from my stay. ON August 5, however, I noticed a charge on my credit card (dated July 3) from La Qunita for an additional $25. I called La Quinta in Casper to see why this charge was leveled, and they claimed there was a dog-related stain on the bedspread, which I also wholeheartedly refute. When I asked why the charge was assigned nearly one month after my stay, they claimed that they tried to clean the bedspread, but that it ultimately had to be replaced. No documentation or photos were provided showing any stains - I was simply charged an additional $25, in addition to my pet fee, which was $20. I want my $25 charge reversed along with the $20 pet fee.
I am submitting this for my girlfriend, Debra Brosnihan, whose name would appear on the credit card charge for that night of our stay. Despite repeated calls, she is still unable to contact anyone at the Casper Wyoming La Quinta.
