My wife and I visited Bob Evans in Elkins West Virginia on 5/27/2023 at 6:18 p.m. she ordered the dinner bell chicken dinner with mac and cheese and a side order of fruit I ordered the two piece chicken dinner with mashed potatoes and corn and we got biscuits which were hard on top and bottom and my wife's fruit plate; there was mold on the cantaloupe, the grapes were hard and the strawberry was very mushy and when we made the comment to the waitress about the fruit plate her comment was I don't eat cantaloupe and I didn't make the fruit plate but she did say she would talk to manager but offered no apology and the chicken that came with our dinners was wet that the breading wouldn't even stick to the chicken the fruit plate was taken off the bill but we still paid the $21.27 bill that we couldn't really eat we visit Bob Evans frequently so being out of town we we're looking forward to a good meal at a well-known establishment however this visit was very disappointing
