Ticketmaster - andrea bocelli concert dec 15, 2019

In Re: Andrea Bocelli Concert at Capital One Arena on December 15, 2019
To Whom It May Concern:
We purchased tickets to the Bocelli concert on April 6, 2019 with our Chase Visa card. Tickets were emailed to us that same day and we were instructed to print the tickets. The email from Viagogo said that the tickets were genuine.
We paid $319.83 for the tickets from Viagogo dated April 14, 2019 at 6:49pm in attachment 1.
The Order ID number we were given was [protected].
Also the two tickets that we had purchased we were told were void by the staff at the Capital One Arena on the night of the concert. The staff who assisted us were Carlette and Dennis. Carlette was working Window 4 and Dennis was her supervisor. Dennis told us that we were the sixth or eighth person to show up that night with voided tickets that were owned by the same original purchaser.
Dennis informed us that the original owner had communicated to the Capital One Arena- not sure to whom - in September that the tickets would only be valid if electronic. No entity, not Viagog and not Ticket Master bothered to inform us, the ticket holders of the change. The tickets we printed specifically say in bold upper-case letters "Not Valid Via Mobile Device."
The replacement tickets that we then had to purchase on the night of the concert cost us $418.00. We not only wish to be compensated for the initial price of the ticket but also for the $98.17 cents that we were forced to spend for inferior seats from which we could barely see the tops of the heads of the performers. Our only option that evening, if we wanted to see the concert, was to purchase these more expensive seats.
Our contact data is: [protected]@gmail.com. My cell phone number is: [protected].
It is totally unacceptable for someone to be able to change the terms of the ticket contract after they have sold the tickets and the tickets were delivered to the purchaser. It is also totally unacceptable for the terms of the ticket to be changed and for us, the purchasers, to not be told.
We would appreciate your prompt response. Online ticket sales really only favor the seller and not the consumer.
We are alerting our Congressman Gerry Connolly (VA 11th) who serves on the House Oversight Governmental Reform Committee and the Subcommittee on Consumer Protection of this issue.
Sincerely,
Sean & Claire Coleman
