WinCo Foods - Closing time

I arrived at Winco on the Guide Meridian at 12:45. The store has a posted closing time of 1am. I was stopped at the electric doors by security personnel that goes by the name Andrew Bott, or something similar as he told me his name through the glass so I’m not certain I heard correctly.

I am writing because I was refused entrance into the store because he said they would be unable to close in time if I was allowed in to complete a purchase. I reiterated that my intention was to purchase a pack of gum that was in the check stand literally 20 feet away from where I stood and that 15 min was sufficient time to complete said transaction. He made an X motion with both arms over his neck in an attempt to express to me that he was serious and they were CLOSED. I found this hand gesture that he used 3 more times to be distasteful, esp considering I am a recent survivor of Violence and suffer from PTSD!

I cannot fathom how allowing me to enter the store 15 min before closing could create such havoc that I had to be denied entry, yet he wasn’t going to budge and told me they started closing doors 15 min early about 2 months ago, to which nothing has been posted publicly and therefor a shock to me.

Claimed loss: The freedom to shop at a grocery store during posted open hours. He stated they couldn’t go home on time if I was allowed to shop my 1 item yet they stock shelves all night so……

Desired outcome: That Andrew gives me an apology and the close doors early rule is abolished. Most Winco are open 24hr yet ours closes 1-4am so those extra 15 min before 1am seems extra!

WinCo Foods - Spinach Tortellini in Bulk

I bought spinach tortellini sold in bulk at WinCo. Three days later I made the tortellini. One minute after putting them in the boiling water, the tortellini started to release a rancid smell that I have never experienced while cooking any kind of pasta. It's a smell like animal sinew and gristle in decomposition. It is really repulsive.

I gave the tortellini few minutes in gentle boil and drained them. Then, I realized those tortellini are filled with a hard stuff that does not soften with boiling and is slightly gelatinous. That's not spinach for sure.

The attached images show when I opened some tortellini. That strange thing like a hard dough with a color that looks skin or something other than vegetable. ingredient. That is what has a pungent and revolting smell when it comes in contact with boiling water.

It all ended up in the garbage and I've had to open the windows because a vanilla-scented candle wasn't enough to mask the repulsive smell of gristle or some other strange animal fat.

By the way, I am not vegan, but I will not eat anything that smells like those tortellini.

Desired outcome: I'd appreciate that WinCo says what is that substance inside those tortellini.

WinCo Foods - winco store in bellingham

I went to winco tonight to do grocery shopping for my family of 8 people. I spent 340.00 on groceries. I went to the car to load up the bag of groceries I purchased. I turned around to open my trunk I when I went to reach for the grocery kart and was rolling down the hill. My kart Crashed and all the groceries spilled out and broke. Winco would not help replace the items that broke. I just had surgery 1 week ago and could not run after the kart. Poor customer service on winco part
